I watched a few eps because it seemed kinda interesting for a procedural, but really... it wasn't. If this makes more room for the several fantasy and sci-fi projects (which are also much more serialized)... totally worth it to me.
Hey UFO I thought you announced you'd be using the CANCELLED! thumbnail for cancelled shows but its use has been inconsistent. I thought you were using it for cable shows only and not for network shows but I was wrong.
Major Crimes, Rizzoli and Isles, The Last Ship, Falling Skies (final season), Murder in the First and a bunch of new shows. Not sure if any of the new shows that are going to premiere in 2014/15 sound that interesting except maybe Public Morals.
I thought her and her husband started one called Ben's Sisters Productions of which Broken Kingdom was their first movie. Also she is set to star in that move Mindgate.
really doubt that, Warner would have to stem that show anyway given the budget requirement. TNT doesen't opperate on low budget status but of most cablers they're definitely the cheapest
read into it, Broken Kingdom is produced by Holymonster, Instinctive and Mad Love.
Holymonster is their studio but they only have this one credit and I assume it's a one off thing. And while I`d love to see more movies directed by Gillies I doubt that he has the time
Regardless of content, MitF had much crappier ratings and skewed older than Perception. I know that TNT is image conscious and part of what they're trying to avoid is being seen as the cable version of CBS - a network that brings the AARP crowd in droves - so this still makes little sense to me.
I really want her to return to the big screen, both she and her husband gave it up and I think both should return there. Not only because she's fit for it but also because she's more than talented
Hmm I don't think I'm familiar with Public Morals outside of seeing the name and that it was in development at some point.
Didn't TNT pick-up that show called "Proof"? I think it was like... a medical or crime procedural, but about the afterlife or something? That one sounds very intriguing.
Thanks James! I actually did a bit of research after I posted that message (should probably do that before I post anything...) and learned the happy truth. But still, thanks!
You're welcome. I also did some digging and unfortunately found recent interviews from the showrunners indicating that the season finale will leave in a you-know-what. :(
This actually doesn't bode well with Rizzoli & Isles and Major Crimes. While still getting massive numbers for TNT, sooner or later the network will drop them in favor of going further in "edgier fare". Perception is getting great ratings already, twice as much as Franklin & Bash was getting in its last season but it still got canceled.
booo disappointing news as I was really enjoying this show as a good summer treat and always enjoyed seeing RLC on my tv, and leaving it at that cliffhanger is pretty disappointing....
NOOO! I'm so disappointed and sad! I thought that at least this show would get an appropriate & satisfying ending with a final season, that they would prefer cancel a new show like Murder in the First.
Mindgate? What will it be about? & when will it come out? I'd watch Broken Kingdom but I've never been able to find it on the net for free. I'm unfortunately not from USA. Can you give me a link where to watch it please?
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
is TNT just cancelling they're old shows to make room for their new ones, jerks
ReplyDeleteis it still coming back in feburary? im going to miss RLC on tv
ReplyDeletewell...she could appear on The Originals now. Or Saving Hope
ReplyDeleteSince her husband is a lead on both
What I like this show as long as they don't cancel Rizzoli & Isles I'm be fine
ReplyDeleteHow many shows are TNT going to cancel?
ReplyDeleteHmm. TNT cancelling old shows to get some extra budget for their DC Titans show hopefully?
ReplyDelete"Returning in February"? Bad photo choice considering the headline...
ReplyDeleteThis was not surprising.
ReplyDeleteA new programming head appears and old favorites disappear!
ReplyDeleteI watched a few eps because it seemed kinda interesting for a procedural, but really... it wasn't. If this makes more room for the several fantasy and sci-fi projects (which are also much more serialized)... totally worth it to me.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe they cancelled this show.....what will air on TNT for next season....crazy.
ReplyDeleteHey UFO I thought you announced you'd be using the CANCELLED! thumbnail for cancelled shows but its use has been inconsistent. I thought you were using it for cable shows only and not for network shows but I was wrong.
ReplyDeleteI don't think Rachel will appear on either....I think she will probably head up her production company.
ReplyDeleteLumen which is in development sounds interesting.
ReplyDeleteshe has one?
ReplyDeleteyou see...I wouldn't mind Perception or F&Bs cancellation if it wasn't for Last Ship, Murder and the First and Rizzoli & Isles returning.
ReplyDeleteboth shows were semi-comedies and genre wise alike. They opted out for the crime procedurals though
I have high hopes for KRs TNT reign but this isn't a start I agree with.
nothing that intentionally makes you laugh.
ReplyDeleteOnly shows that are so dull, they're funny (looking at you Last Ship)
I'm excited for The Librarians though, still hoping for TNT to get itself a solid mystery line-up
That's what I was thinking of in particular, ha.
ReplyDeleteMajor Crimes, Rizzoli and Isles, The Last Ship, Falling Skies (final season), Murder in the First and a bunch of new shows. Not sure if any of the new shows that are going to premiere in 2014/15 sound that interesting except maybe Public Morals.
ReplyDeleteI thought her and her husband started one called Ben's Sisters Productions of which Broken Kingdom was their first movie. Also she is set to star in that move Mindgate.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately the new shows that are actually premiering in 2014/15 dont sound that interesting except maybe Public Morals.
ReplyDeleteSo what's with the "Returning this February" that they said at that ENORMOUS CLIFFHANGER?!?!
ReplyDeleteLast Ship is not sooo bad, but it is boring....Major Crimes, not my thing....Rizzoli and Isles, seems like it is on its last leg......
ReplyDeletePublic Morals does not seem that bad....I'm just saying, they have cancelled a lot of late....
Damnit Hardison, why didn't you bring back Leverage instead :P
ReplyDeletereally doubt that, Warner would have to stem that show anyway given the budget requirement. TNT doesen't opperate on low budget status but of most cablers they're definitely the cheapest
ReplyDeleteThank the Lord Falling Skies is ending next year. That show is horrible and one of the worst on TV.
ReplyDeleteI've been meaning to start this show for 4 years now and still haven't come to it....probably for the best
ReplyDeleteread into it, Broken Kingdom is produced by Holymonster, Instinctive and Mad Love.
ReplyDeleteHolymonster is their studio but they only have this one credit and I assume it's a one off thing.
And while I`d love to see more movies directed by Gillies I doubt that he has the time
I... was not expecting that. That makes the fact that they renewed Murder in the First even more bizarre.
ReplyDeleteSeason 13 has 15 episodes, the last 5 of which they're saving for the winter. So we get a resolution on what the heck happened on that cliffhanger.
ReplyDeletePerception was a comedy heavy procedural, I think they axed everything comedy heavy this season for image purposes
ReplyDeleteShe has a production company of her own....dunno....found it on Hollywood Reporter and IMDB....
ReplyDeleteAgreed!
ReplyDeleteRegardless of content, MitF had much crappier ratings and skewed older than Perception. I know that TNT is image conscious and part of what they're trying to avoid is being seen as the cable version of CBS - a network that brings the AARP crowd in droves - so this still makes little sense to me.
ReplyDeleteoh, the comanys last movie was shot in 2002 though
ReplyDeleteI believe it's returning in Feb to finish out the second half of it's current season.
ReplyDeleteTime to focus on it then......?
ReplyDeleteMind you, she is getting roles and is known as Indie Queen.....
I really want her to return to the big screen, both she and her husband gave it up and I think both should return there. Not only because she's fit for it but also because she's more than talented
ReplyDeleteHmm I don't think I'm familiar with Public Morals outside of seeing the name and that it was in development at some point.

Kevin Reilly is cleaning house! Imagine if he was still on FOX! I think Red Band Society and Mulaney would be gone already!
ReplyDeleteI would be ok with that, considering they are not the greatest of shows......
ReplyDeleteGood Sleuthing!
ReplyDeleteAwesome.
I thought Murder in the First was a pretty decent show....Taye Diggs was awesome on it. I hope he returns to Good Wife as well.
ReplyDeleteMy apologies. I just reexamined the ratings for Perception this season and they're every bit as crappy as Murder in the First.
ReplyDeleteI thought Leverage was supposed to come back via Netflix or The Audience Network.
ReplyDeleteThanks James! I actually did a bit of research after I posted that message (should probably do that before I post anything...) and learned the happy truth. But still, thanks!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome. I also did some digging and unfortunately found recent interviews from the showrunners indicating that the season finale will leave in a you-know-what. :(
ReplyDeleteRizzoli and Isles is the best drama along with Major Crimes and i dont think TNT would wanna cancel their Cash Cow shows lol
ReplyDeletewith this cancellation and dallas along with Franklin and Bash has given Legends more chance for survival.
Nooo, I'm gonna miss his classes!
ReplyDeleteThis actually doesn't bode well with Rizzoli & Isles and Major Crimes. While still getting massive numbers for TNT, sooner or later the network will drop them in favor of going further in "edgier fare". Perception is getting great ratings already, twice as much as Franklin & Bash was getting in its last season but it still got canceled.
ReplyDeleteIm upset but Im not surprised.
ReplyDeleteI really hope that they at least show the episodes they already filmed for season 3
ReplyDeletebooo disappointing news as I was really enjoying this show as a good summer treat and always enjoyed seeing RLC on my tv, and leaving it at that cliffhanger is pretty disappointing....
ReplyDeleteWell, you can count on Legends being cancelled as well.
ReplyDeleteKevin Reilly is on a roll. Legends should be the next one to get cancelled.
ReplyDeleteNOOO! I'm so disappointed and sad! I thought that at least this show would get an appropriate & satisfying ending with a final season, that they would prefer cancel a new show like Murder in the First.
ReplyDeleteshe already has to film High Midnight movie and another spanish movie production so I'm happy she has stuff to do already.
ReplyDeleteI was prepared but at least I fought for it,
ReplyDeleteIt'll stay my favourite show forever. I hope for no cliffhanger at leat
now. RIP my beloved.
here & now this I swear: I will keep following your movies/series and anything you'll do anyway <3
Mindgate? What will it be about? & when will it come out? I'd watch Broken Kingdom but I've never been able to find it on the net for free. I'm unfortunately not from USA. Can you give me a link where to watch it please?
ReplyDeleteI'm playing my last card and then I'll go down. Asking Neflix to give it a 4th season
ReplyDeleteoh I see Mindgate is the spanish movie I told you. Thanks,
ReplyDeleteI'm really going to miss this show. The only show on TV with realistic medicine.
ReplyDeleteJust finish the Season with an alright rushed end at least. I can make up the rest.
ReplyDeleteIi'll never forgive TNT for cancelling this show.
