After tonight's episode, I am just even sadder to be saying goodbye to the Bravermans. Parenthood is quite possibly one of my favorite shows, ever. Such good writing and acting. I can't.
You know who we saw very little of in the promo? Hank, Ruby and Sandy. Thank you! Finally. Are we moving past the annoying family now and getting back to Sarah and the rest of the Bravermans now that its truly almost done? I never thought I would be all pro Mark but suddenly I'm like bring on Mark lets get Hank and the family shipped off into the sunset now. Sarah wasn't even in the episode and we still spent most of this episode on Hank and Ruby again. I just feel bad for Sarah now I wouldn't blame her for leaving Hank. Where's the Braverman kids who are not "I can do whatever I want without consequences because I have aspergers" Max for a freaking change I would like to see them by the finale again. Where is Sidney, Haddie, Jabbar, Victor etc?
And surprise surprise the death appears to be Zeek. I think if it truly is him and it likely is most of us figured out it would be early on. The death would have to be something that would shake the family and change up roles. So I won't be surprised if it is Zeek. To be honest if it was Crosby or Amber that would have just been awful and tragic because they are both so young with young kids or a kid on the way. Makes sense that if there must be a death that the much older father of the family who has health issues would be the one to go.
The writers have placed Zeke, Crosby, Amber, Drew, Max, and Joel in pretty sad places. Of course, Zeke seems to be the most likely one to go. Maybe this will snap the others out of their collective funk. Here, here with seeing Hank's story hopefully fading into the sunset. Very strange that Sarah didn't even appear.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
