Well it obviously won't be as simple as that, but truthfully, why isn't it? When Snow cast the curse, didn't she make it so that people could leave Storybrooke unharmed, unlike when Regina did it? Cos if she didn't, she really should have. I would get wanting to make sure the town was still covered by some sort of cloak that made it invisible and unattainable by outsiders, but Storybrookers should be able to leave... And apparently they do get the ice wall down this episode, so I wonder what it is that makes them stay in the perimeter.
If the memory loss is still an effect for those leaving the town (illogical since they came back with no fake memories, only the inability to remember one year), I would figure Emma (the Savior), Snow (who cast the curse) and Elsa (who wasn't affected by it) should be the three people able to leave. They are the ones we see walking towards the line in the promo anyway. But apparently Snow is affected by the curse, so I wonder what happens to make them stay. I dunno about Henry since he wasn't affected by the curse either, but he did come to Storybrooke last season with fake memories as well, maybe that relates somehow?
Well, as we've already seen, the person who casts the curse can modify it to suit his or her needs, so whether or not they can leave the town would depend on what Snow decided when she cast the curse.
Isn't there still an ice wall around the town. Nobody kan leave. I guess they can scatter about the perimeter, but once the spell hits, I doubt anyone will stay put ... :-)
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Awesome! This season is so by far the best!
ReplyDeleteThe answer is simple for Emma and a few others (Henry, Hook, maybe little Neal? and Rumple+MagicScarf)
