    Why Emma isn't asking Regina for help is beyond me...
    Regina is the one that taught her magic to start with. And no one wants to protect Henry more than Regina does.
    I understand if Regina would still be mad with Emma... But they are alright now...

    Oh. Gold said, the spell will get rid of all light magic. That means Emma will go dark. No one is free of darkness. Emma certainly isn't. All spell comes with a price, we know that. And interestingly enough, that would make Regina the only purveyor of light magic in Storybrooke. How about that.

    I wondered about that too ... But Emma said she came to Gold because he was the only persons she couldn't hurt. Regina is powerful, knows more magic that Emma, and has control of it. But a full magic burst from Emma would probably hurt Regina. Regina herself has said that Emma is more powerful than she is.

    Yup, but I think, this is the "first" solution/possibility Gold offer Emma in this Sneak Peek. I think, in the promo, when we see he gives her the little bottle with the blue "whatever" inside, is the 2nd offer/possibility he shows her. Sometimes Sneak Peeks and Promos are really irritating.

    i just don't get what triggered emma's powers to get so out of control that now she can't touch anything without almost destroying it, it can't have just been ingrid and mary margaret and damn it gold just wants her magic so he can be free and apparently rule the world

    I was thinking possibly she would be afraid of how Regina would react towards her because she accidentally hurt Henry. Going to confront her would just be like a ticking bomb of emotions that she might not be able to control. She probably feels like she has caused Regina enough pain as it is and doesn't want to burden her with her own problems.
