McKenna) and witnessed him brutally interrogate Fatah (guest star Farshad Farahat). When members of the militant Islamist movement Boko Haram kidnap 21 Nigerian girls, President Payton (Alfre Woodard) tasks Charlie with the logistically impossible -- to find and save the girls without Nigeria knowing the U.S. was ever involved. Meanwhile, President Payton hosts the Chinese president (Tzi Ma) at Camp David and realizes that she can use their trade talks to get something she really wants. Also starring Adam Kaufman, Sheila Vand, Cliff Chamberlain, Tommy Savas and David Harbour. Nestor Carbonell, Courtney B. Vance, James Remar, Christopher Michael Holley and Hakeem Kae-Kazim guest star.

Meanwhile, after he is stood up by Dennah (Sarah Wright Olsen) and Kay (Tymberlee Hill), Gil (John Gemberling) bonds with a group of sixth grade boys over basketball and laser tag.

ReplyDeleteSounds like Nick will be cured by then and the Trubel story will come to an end as a result (since Trubel was brought in as a crutch for powerless Nick). I was ok with Trubel being introduced but was immediately disappointed upon learning that the character was only brought in as a plot device for Nick to lose his powers. Such a waste to what could have been a good story. I'm fine with the actor but not fine with the writing here. I'm ok with her exit because of the writer's handling of things. Let's hopefully move onto something more interesting, story wise because this show is truly getting really boring.
ReplyDeleteState Of Affairs sounds interesting and oddly deja vu-ish. Marry Me sounds hilarious. About A Boy is about to deliver (DAKOTA IS BACK!!!), those Marcus-Andy-Laurie scenes will be priceless. Chicago Fire a mess as usual.
