Fox’s low-rated new sitcom Mulaney is getting an expected time-period downgrade. The live-action Sunday comedy, created by and starring comedian John Mulaney, is moving to the 7:30 PM slot, occupied by Bob’s Burgers, effective immediately. Fox’s 7:30 PM half-hour is preempted for an NFL doubleheader this Sunday, so Mulaney’s first airing in the new berth will be on November 23. Starting this Sunday, animated comedy Bob’s Burgers will take over Mulaney’s 9:30 PM time period, following Family Guy.

Fair enough, its cancelled anyway. They should air another new comedy in the 9.30 slot mid season and keep Bob's Burgers as a nice filler.
ReplyDeleteThe already dead Mulaney gets killed even more. I'd say no need for the overkill, but the pilot was so terrible that I'm willing to let the overkill slide.
ReplyDeleteYes! This means Bob's Burgers will actually show more than one episode every 3 weeks like it has done this season.
ReplyDeleteIt'd be nice to get Bob's Burgers out of pre-emption purgatory, but I'm still worried about the show since I don't think it's gotten the renewal for next season yet.
ReplyDeleteI assume Bordertown will take the 9:30 slot after midseason with Bob's Burgers returning to 7:30.
