Thanks to Justin for the heads up
ABC will not move forward with its Susannah Grant drama series Members Only, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. The cast was informed Saturday that the network did not want to move ahead with the series starring John Stamos and Breaking Bad's Betsy Brandt.
Originally picked up straight to series in January, American Hustle's David O. Russell and Erin Brockovich's Grant were attached to co-write and exec produce the 13-episode drama.

Stop cancelling shows before they even air.
ReplyDeleteWhat?! No! I was looking forward to this!
ReplyDeleteABC trying to be NBC all of a sudden?
ReplyDeletedid they already shoot any episodes?
ReplyDeleteI was really excited for this!! Really bummed!
ReplyDeleteTheybhad a solid cast. Shame they cancelled it. At least now the TTP blondy can go back to theCw.
ReplyDeleteWell, at least I'll get to see John Stamos on Galavant.
ReplyDeleteI wonder how many of these cancelled before they air shows could have actually been hits
ReplyDeleteAnother straight to series show bites the dust.
ReplyDeleteAlsop seems strange that they cancelled it this late. If they didn't like the first few episodes, they should have cancelled it earlier. The premise sounded incredibly soapy, so not the show for me, but probably could have worked for ABC. I know ABC's schedule is jam packed, put the could have aired this during the summer.
What is up with networks Cancelling shows before they air this season-Members Only,Mission Control,Hyrogliphpgh (sp?),,UKS-though that one got saved by Netflix-and I think there was one more?I'm sure abc did it cause they have no room this season or even summer for it.
ReplyDeleteOkay.... i was not planning to watch this show anyway. Would this have been a primetime or daytime soap opera/ drama?
ReplyDeleteThe NBC direct to series Wizard of Oz show, Emerald City, but I dont think that show filmed any episodes.
ReplyDeleteI do find this interesting when it happens, like what made them think it was going to be such a huge flop and yet other series which also bomb make it through? Its fascinating how often these pre-cancellations are happening and kind of proof that pilot season can't die yet.
ReplyDeletePoor Luke Mitchell :(
ReplyDeleteI think so.
ReplyDeletePrimetime. It was supposed to be a mid season/summer show.
ReplyDeleteReally the show didn't even air yet stop canceling shows before the audience get to see it
ReplyDeleteWho's next ? Heroes ?
ReplyDeletelol
ReplyDeleteI'm upset a little cause I was looking forward to this I think abc boosting their heads up cause of TGIT line up
ReplyDeleteThey should release them anyway, it always hurts to know that footage is unused :(
ReplyDeleteI really wanted to watch how bad Hieroglyph's pilot was that made FOX cancel it as soon as the saw it.
ReplyDeleteNow Luke Mitchell should come back to CW . Maybe at Arrow or The Flash?
ReplyDeleteI'm still dreaming of a world in wich un-used pilots are released as 4-part webseries รก 10 minutes. Creates some clicks for the networks sites, they can plaster them with ads and make some money and we get to watch it.
ReplyDeletethey cancel Heroes and NBC will be finding me at their offices.
ReplyDeleteI think they filmed multiple eps. They may as well release them. Wasted money otherwise
ReplyDeleteI REALLY want to see it. I will LMAO if its actually good.
ReplyDeleteWell this opens Luke Mitchell up and the sooner someone scoops him up, the better.
ReplyDeleteAnother one bites the dust.!
ReplyDeletePoor luke!This guy can't catch a break!
ReplyDeleteBetsy Brandt sure seems to end up on shows that are soon to be ending or get cancelled. She's currently on Parenthood and its done in a few more episodes after Christmas. She did a good job on Breaking Bad so I kind of hope she manages to find a stable job on a show that isn't going to get cancelled.
ReplyDeleteThey have nowhere to put it, but COME ON! "Put pilot" means nothing, "series commitment/penalty" means nothing, now "STRAIGHT-TO-SERIES ORDER" means nothing?! Insane. (plus, I was looking forward to Natalie Zea, loved her since Dirty Sexy Money)
ReplyDeleteIndeed! Poor Luke :(
ReplyDeleteSo...Can Luke Mitchell come back to The CW now and join either Arrow or The Flash?
ReplyDeleteWow the Cancellation Bear got that one before one episode even aired.
ReplyDeleteHey did that show even air? Or was it cancelled solely base on it's title?
ReplyDeleteIt was cancelled before any episodes aired.
