Madam Secretary - Game On (Fall Finale) - Advance Preview and Teasers
29 Nov 2014
DV Madam Secretary ReviewsTomorrow's episode of Madam Secretary will get back to the Vincent Marsh storyline. After Nadine gave Elizabeth information on a Venezualan bank account of Marsh last week, Bess immediately discusses it with Isabelle and Henry. It turns out that three people have access to the account, and they learn that one of them is an alias for someone on Elizabeth's staff. This prompts Bess to make a diplomatic trip to Venezuela with her staff and Henry in tow. We will learn who was the last person to deposit a large sum of money from Marsh's account. Also, it will finally be revealed whether or not Russell Jackson and the President were involved in Marsh's death. Elizabeth will use Matt as a double agent in a clever plan she has come up with. Regardless of how it all turns out, Russell and Elizabeth have quite a big fight at the end where one or both will be shouting.
It's not all about Marsh though, as the trip to Venezuela also is of diplomatic use. Bess visits the Venzuelan President Francisco Suarez, who is not a fan of the freedoms of the US, especially the freedom of voting. Initially, Elizabeth is not even welcome but when she takes along a Venezualan-born US baseball player, Suarez permits the visit. The baseball player later causes friction between Suarez and Elizabeth. Plus, the Marsh investigation may help or hinder the diplomatic goals of the trip.
Here are a few more teasers from "Game On":
-Stevie will be in the episode to take care of Allison and the McCord mansion while her parents are away, but it is clear the relationship between her and her mother is still very strained.
-Though I hadn't paid much attention to it, I learned from the comments on my review of last week's episode that there is a running gag about Blake's ambiguous sexual orientation. This is something that will come back in this episode, although whether or not the ambiguity will be solved remains to be seen.
-Russell makes a really bad joke and Bess even tells him: "I really don't appreciate your sense of humor."
-Daisy doesn't appear to be very heart-broken over her ex-fiancée as she and Matt seem to have reignited their romance.
-Israeli Ambassador Lior Dori will reappear in the episode after Elizabeth asked him in episode 9 about the Dubai plane crash. The question is here: will he help her or will he go against her?
-Referring to Vincent Marsh, one character says to another: "I swear, I am glad he's dead."
-The show will end cliffhanger-ish as I was left with the question: what happens next?
That's it folks! Be sure to watch the episode tomorrow at 8:30 PM (if there are no pre-emptions). It will be the last episode of 2014, and the show will return on January 4. So make sure you watch it and catch my review of the episode afterwards.

Yay love matt and daisy
ReplyDeleteSeing as Matt has coughed up his involvement in the Marsh situation and Nadine has been cleared of any involvement from the whole deal, that leaves Jay and Daisy. Daisy seems too out of everything (her questioning Matt's speech in the flashback episode) whereas we know Jay considered himself "Marsh's guy" and was looking to follow him to the White House I'm gonna guess it's Jay who's dot something to do with the account!
ReplyDeleteI just want to know how long this-Stevie is upset due to what her mom did story is gonna last. Yes she has a right to disagree. Yes she has a right to be mad. But Im not gonna like it if Stevie turns into a grudge. I really hope this is resloved very soon in the second half of the season. Cant she just agree to disagree?!
ReplyDeleteWell I for one am not happy that Daisy and Matt seem to have reignited their romance.
