damn it what happening with John on Arrow
ReplyDeleteAnd what does Greg Berlanti mean about Felicity???
ReplyDeleteIf the spoilers are true Oliver will disappear after the MS final and people will most likely think he is dead. So not really surpised there will be an emotionalbscene between D and L. Can't wait for it to happen.
ReplyDeleteI really hope Belle gives up on Rumple after this one. Think even the glass named Belle can't survive this drop without tipping over. It would be ridicilous if she'd go back to him.
ReplyDeletewe all know she's not strong enough to leave him
ReplyDeleteif that's true then this woman has gone to crap, first she found out oliver and sara were alive then lost her sister again and now she may think she lost oliver too, damn and let's not forget about thea
ReplyDeleteDiggle is the biggest anti Lauliver fan ever so I guess he'll talk to her about letting Oliver be . Or he could give her training tips
ReplyDeleteArrow: His most emotional scene is with Laurel?!!! are you kidding me? Not with Lyla? Not about his brother? And even if it's about Oliver why isn't it with Felicity? They didn't have any scenes together this season, I miss their friendship so much, seriously writers what are you doing? Yeah I get that you're making Laurel more involved but can you do that without tearing apart my team? :(
ReplyDelete"There’s nothing that she’s ever going to feel that isn’t going to be somewhat informed by her feelings for Oliver." what does that even mean? Is that a riddle? am I supposed to start working on cracking the code? UGH
OUaT: I can't wait for Belle to find out about Rumple and what an awful human being he is.
The Mentalist: Cho isn't quick to pick up on anything, his reaction should be priceless lol
GA: It was a horrible thing what Derek did but he tried to fix it, I really hope they can get past it.
I have NO idea!!
ReplyDeleteWhy do my comments need to be approved???? I don't swear!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThink Laurel found a way to channel her rage, desperation and finally Katie gets space to dig into her character. And that is most likely why she will already take on the Canary suit in episode 10. This should be really good.
ReplyDeleteGreg Berlanti does know how to use his words. That sentence about Felicity does not answer anything LOL.
ReplyDeleteWhenever MG teases an emotional scene or a brilliant scene it never comes up to expectations. I am happy Diggle is getting his due. Since the crossover has ARGUS all over it I guess there will be a disagreement between Diggle and Lyla about Amanda Waller. Since episode 10 most probably wont have Oliver I guess the discussion between Laurel and Diggle will be about him or Laurel trying to save the city and Diggle telling her Oliver always wanted to protect her. I am glad they are going to use this opportunity to integrate Laurel more with the cast.
Little Nyssa... Aww. I want to see.
Are you thinking naughty thoughts?? *wiggles eyebrows*
ReplyDeleteI mean I'm not a Rumbelle fan but this is going nowhere. I was hoping Rumple wanted to detach himself from the dagger so he could give away his magic without dying but it isn't looking like that at all.
ReplyDeleteThe way he is threaten Belle she should leave him forever. This doesn't mean that I think Rumple can't be redeemed just that Belle would look stupid if she would ever trust him again.
hahahahaha depends on your definition of naughty, I was so angry about the Arrow spoilers so probably my thoughts were something like "No Felicity and Dig scenes. Too much Laurel. Must get revenge. Must find writers email addresses" lol
ReplyDeletegot a point. But I see another twist comimg like Rumple losing his powers to save her. We'll see I'll watch till OUAT has life anyway, no matter what.
ReplyDeleteArrow is in a pickle. They need to integrate Laurel with Diggle, Felicity and Roy sometime. Sooner the better whether fans like it or not. Everyone likes Diggle/Felicity and DIggle/Felicity/Oliver scenes. It's proven beyond doubt. But this season for the sake of story and characters they have to let Felicity out of Arrow cave most of the time and slowly integrate Laurel in there. I have a feeling initially at least Laurel will be working independent of Team Arrow as BC. But they can't keep her completely away from Team Arrow.
ReplyDeleteI think in episode 10 Diggle comes face to face with Laurel in a BC costume in the field where they both go after some bad guy independently. Then they will have a talk about how much her safety meant to Oliver. I don't mind it. For me as long as they don't put Oliver/Laurel in a romantic capacity again I am fine with it. The writers and SA has said several times about making justice league on tv. I am sure the show is going to spread itself between all these characters. I hope they don't spread themselves too thin.
whoa episode 10 that's pretty fast and cool and speaking of isn't ra's al ghul supposed to appear in Starling on 9
ReplyDeleteArrow- I'm an Olicity that's not worried about Ray's stupid face with their stupid date, and their stupid kiss, I know where Felicity's heart stands.
ReplyDeleteDiggle and Laurel?? WTF??? Ummm I wanted more Diggle and more Lyla, not an emotional scene between those two, which is very odd, since Diggle's never really liked Laurel to begin with. I guess this scene is where they "Make amends." But i'm glad we'll get more Lyla, i'd like to see more of her. Expand on her some instead of just being Diggle's Baby mama and agent, for Waller. I wouldn't mind seeing some flashbacks of her story. (w/o Diggle).
More Nyssa and a Young Nyssa flashback?? Hell yeah!!
big dilemma for me: I love Rumple/Mr.Gold, like much Belle, love Rumbelle. Belle believes, that her true love can save Rumple from the darkness. But:
ReplyDeleteEmma: You married Belle.
Gold: And each time, I meticulously undid all the good. Neal is still
gone, the town is still in danger, and Belle, for better or worse, she knows
who I am. And that's the man who always chooses power.
Emma: She believes you can change.
Gold: And I love her for that. But I fear she's quite likely wrong.
so, if she either dies for him or leaves him, he would come completly dark. And I think, this isn't the concept from the show: always had different villains in the show. Loose his power? only if someone kills him with the dagger. Change himself to good with a touch of dark: a pregnant Belle? would be great but I'm sure, this the creators don't want or haven't in plan.
And can't mention it enough (yes, I know, many rolls eyes about) would be boring without him, his tricks, manipulations, deals etc.
I love Gol and his games and the show would be at a huge lost if he dies or something. But currently he needs to pay for being an asshole and I want someone to teach him a lesson.
ReplyDeleteI really don't know why he just didn't let it be this time around I know it would be boring, but if his sons death can't teach him a lesson he is not redeemable atm (and close future).
I think, he was "on a good way", until he found in the house they had the honeymoon the sorcerer's hat.
ReplyDeleteWhat I got from Greg Berlanti's sentence is that Felicity's relationships with other guys are always guided by what she can't have with Oliver. It's always about him.
ReplyDeleteI think it has something to do with your disqus account, that happened to me once and stopped after I confirmed my e-mail or something like that.
ReplyDeleteThat's the problem, my account is already verified, and this is the second time this has happened this week.
ReplyDeleteHey Shannon, what do you think of Ray and Raylicity coz you weren't very clear on the subject lol
ReplyDeleteit's personal then, weird.
ReplyDeleteSpoilerTV hates me :'(
ReplyDeleteAbout Arrow, this is my opinion: It seems unnecessary that Diggle needs a scene with Laurel, they have nothing to do with each other. It gives me the feeling that Diggle and Laurel are not the best friends, just two people who know each other for the circumstances and nothing more. Another foolish intent for Laurel to have more prominence and be around of Team Arrow. It's painful that Diggle has so few scenes and one of them is precisely with Laurel.
ReplyDeleteIt seems right that Felicity does not want to wait for Oliver. But I find very absurd that she would have a relationship with Ray, right now. She still really loves Oliver, she hasn't had any scenes with Ray to show me that Felicity has feelings for him. If they become a couple will be too fast and nothing credible. I don't buy this and not because I am a Olicity fan, I say it simply because it's ridiculous for the short time between Ray and Felicity, because they don't had any romantic scene. I just hope nothing happens between them because I don't like Ray, there's something about him that I don't like. (Although I like Brandon)
I love Nyssa, I love Katrina Law very much since I saw her on Spartacus. But I don't see necessary a flashback of her with 9 or 12 years. I have nothing against this character, all I hope is that the flashback is going to be necessary for the present of the story of the show. Arrow is known for being a show with flashbacks but it started to bored me.
Thank you.. Aww.. which in a roundabout way means her relationship with Ray is not going anywhere as she is still hung upon Oliver. I hope they will stop this song and dance after this season. I don't want them going seasons trying to be with other people. Put them together and forget about romance for the time being.
ReplyDeleteSee I knew you were trouble...
ReplyDeleteOh well, you were going to find out sooner or later, you better keep your distance before I drag you to my world of mischief LOL
ReplyDeleteNot reallybas he killed Zelena and kept quite about. I don't say he shouldn't kille her but still should've fessed up to Belle.
ReplyDeleteit's "my" Rumple, a coward, was he always... and that why he wants to keep his power, can hid himself behind
ReplyDeleteHaha
ReplyDeleteI know that they are slowly making her part of the team but they are handling it horribly first of all she is always snapping at them and giving orders and acting like she is better than them, she even said to Oliver last episode "I'm not on your team I don't work for you" she thinks that they work for him, she is treating them like they're the help! and now I'm supposed to believe that she and Diggle are very close that they have emotional scenes together?
ReplyDeleteBut you do make a good point maybe when Oliver is gone she risks her life a lot and Dig tells her that she is not ready and that Oliver and Sara wouldn't want her to get hurt and he will be emotional because losing Oliver is hurting him, I actually like that, I wouldn't mind that at all. Maybe that's why Dig acts so ooc when it comes to catching Sara's killer because he's been through this before and he knows how much it hurts.
Oliver and Laurel in a romantic relationship again... you know what I'm not gonna go there coz no just NO and not because I'm an Olicity fan but because of Tommy and Sara, Oliver and Laurel getting together again after everything is just wrong on so many levels.
I really want Oliver and Felicity to get together and there's only so much angst I can take, so I absolutely agree with you! I expect this situation to drag for the rest of the season, but If they're not supposed to end up as couple, I hope they can retrieve some of the relationship they had in season 2, be friends and be ok with each other.
ReplyDeleteI am rooting for them now. But I don't like it when they drag these things. Unlike lot of Olicity fans I am not worried about end game in this show. With every thing that has happened till now in the show I want them to make Oliver and Felicity a couple for a length of time at least. As an audience I deserve it. After that they can break them apart or keep them together.. whatever the story requires. In any scenario I want the fun dynamics between them and the whole team back.
ReplyDeleteI get it, I'm not gonna lie and say that I won't be disappointed if they're not endgame, 'cause I will, but I can get onboard with another option as long it makes sense. 'Cause for me, even if it is comic canon, I think the worst thing showrunners could possibly do is reconnect Oliver and Laurel. I think they've ruined them as couple when Sara and Oliver hooked up in season 2. And that dreadful Lance dinner happened, I still can't get over that dinner.
ReplyDeleteI agree their methods of integrating Laurel and establishing her in that environment is really questionable. Her interactions with Diggle, Felicity and Roy are as if they are strangers. She knows these guys for 6 months now and seen their work. I have a more warm relationship with the new courier guy in my office who joined 2 weeks before. Sometimes I feel it's intentional because why else would they show that phone call between her and Felicity being so cold and unfriendly? A small nod, a warm hello between her and these characters is all we need to make us feel she is starting to be a part of the team. Writers are failing miserably when there are more than 3 people in the foundry.
ReplyDeleteThat being said I do not think last episode's "I am not on your team. I don't work for you" was in any way meant as a slight for Diggle, Felicity or Roy. It was all about Laurel and her relationship with Oliver. He was acting heavy handed and was trying to direct the way she lived her life even though his heart is in the right place. She was done with him and wanted him to know she does not answer to him in any way, form or matter. She did call Team Arrow her friends later on when she was talking to Ted. I had more issues with her telling Ted she and Arrow used to date. I still believe that was done for us to see some spark between her and Ted. On the whole last epsiode had a lot of wtf moments for all characters. Laurel was no exception. We tend to judge Laurel harshly since we don't like her. I do that too *shrugs* all the time. Last episode on the whole had lot of wtf moments for all characters Oliver, Felicity, Diggle, Roy and even Laurel.
From that tidbit what I got was that emotional scene was all about Diggle and less about Laurel. Loosing a sibling and trying hard to find their killer is something Diggle can identify with. Let's see how it goes. One thing I am sure Laurel won't be suiting up the first time from the foundry. Team Arrow will most probably get a shock when they see her in costume.
If they badly want to do Laurel/Oliver then I hope they do it in a flash forward scene in the final episode of the series. I just can't accept anything else from these two characters. As much as Arrow is a male skewing show, I don't think the core demo audience of this show would ever get behind this pairing. And I don't think they have any plans to do it. Laurel is a much stronger player now that she has almost completely ripped away from Oliver. I don't want their relationship antagonistic either. They need to redefine their friendship and every thing they knew about each other.
ReplyDeleteI also would like it if Oliver/Felicity is done and made the end game. Because this show actually does not require to spend too much time on romance. Just put them together and keep their relationship in the background. Once in a while (once or twice a season) give them a conflict or hard choice wrap that thread fast then move on. Same should be the case for every other character. Concentrate on action, friendship, little bit of comedy and cool villains. These are the things that really works on this show.
Laurel usually isn't a very friendly person, aside form Joanna (her friend in the first season if I remember the name correctly) she didn't have any friends throughout the series, the problem isn't that things go wrong when there are more than three people in the foundry because Roy is always there and I didn't mind him, and I didn't mind Sara, the problem is like you said Laurel is still treating them like strangers, as if they are people she knew through Oliver and occasionally she has to talk to them but not as her friends. If they are going to make her interact with them a lot then the writers need to make her more friendly towards them.
ReplyDeleteI agree Oliver was being way over protective but I don't think he was trying to control her life or dictate her actions, he did it because he cares and he knows that grief is making Laurel reckless and she doesn't fully realize how dangerous this life is and they just lost Sara and he doesn't want to lose her too. Telling Ted that she used to date Oliver was really stupid, when I saw it I was like, I don't know if you watched Scrubs before but there was a scene when someone told JD a lie and walked away so JD said "wth" with the face and the hands in the air and everything, then he looked around and realized he was alone and said "there's no one here to see my wth face" that was me lol. It's true we judge Laurel more because we don't like her but we were very upset with Dig too in this episode.
Or maybe she gets hurt and doesn't want to go the hospital so Quentin won't find out so she goes to the foundry and when Dig sees her suit and her injuries they have the emotional scene.
That's why I feel this alienation of Laurel is intentional. I think they are waiting for Oliver to be away for these characters to interact more. Which is weird imo as we see in Arrow 2.5 comics Laurel having a pleasant enough conversation with Diggle. How come now they act like they don't even know each other. I does not make any sense.
ReplyDeleteInstead of telling Laurel again and again not to do something which usually prompts her to do that very thing Oliver should have pulled her aside sat her down and told her some sad but necessary truths about Sara and him. How they became vigilantes and what tortures and difficulties they had to go through to get there. Also how if either Sara or Oliver had a choice they wouldn't have chosen this life and the sacrifices he have to do on daily basis. Instead he acts like an over protective ass hat brother or boy friend (I want to puke writing the term boyfriend with regards to Oliver/Laurel) who disapproves everything she does and compares her to her sister all the time. He should tell her it is okay for her to train to protect herself but not for her to go out and hunt bad guys. Like I said his heart was in the right place but his methods were questionable.
I am still not over her telling Ted she used to date Arrow. Seriously!!!
The Digg/Laurel scene could be a great scene. But since MG gave his approval I will keep my expectations low. This is the same guy who said Emmy worthy scene in Time of Death. It was a good enough scene but (emmys) that whole episode was a huge WTF.
They did? I haven't read the last 2 issues yet, that's nice I guess. What did they talk about?
ReplyDeleteWell Oliver always overreacts especially when he is trying to protect someone, so I wasn't really surprised. Boyfriend EWWW *shudders*
Emmy? he said that? that's a big lol, the whole Lance family and Oliver storyline in that episode was a disaster, I still can't believe Oliver and Sara did that to Laurel, I can't believe they got together in the first place and worse Laurel giving them dating advice *still shuddering*, I'm pretending that whole mess didn't happen.
I don't think you will like it much. Even I felt that was a wtf moment. "So Oliver goes out to find new brother blood. Laurel is there in the foundry as she gave the info for him . Roy is lying there in sedation and she asks about his health to Digg and remarks he looks like her father. Digg asks about his health and she talks about the medically induced coma he is in. Then she touches him on his shoulder/chest and asks him to go find Oliver. " I was like is this the same Laurel from the show?
ReplyDeleteLess talked about Laurel/Oliver/Sara fiasco the better.
I was reading the thread with the backstage pic of Laurel and Roy and the fact that she's probably joining Team Arrow and I thought the exact same thing: Laurel's a lot better away from Oliver. She should totally do her own thing and not be his subordinate, of course she should provide some support agains the big baddies, but she doesn't have to fight the same villains, she can have her own separate nemesis and her own way to deal with them. Also I wanted her to acknowledge how Oliver is different from the person he was pre-island, she knows he's the Arrow, but he changed a lot and she's always saying she knows him so well, but that doesn't translate well in the show, everytime she says something like that I'm like, okay Laurel, you think you know him, but you have no idea. They totally need to redefine their relationship so that line make some sense.
ReplyDeleteI think Oliver and Felicity would be interesting enough as stable couple. This is not TVD so we don't need that much relationship drama and there's some storylines that can provide some conflict like Oliver having a son and the identity of Felicity's father... anyway, I just hope for the best but expect the worst considering The CW has a thing for love triangles.
If Laurel works a seperate team with Wild Cat through out this season it would be awesome. They can also use Felicity for some intel. And once in few episodes they will get this case which will collide with Team Arrow's current case. Then they can all work together. Then by season end everyone can come together and fight the big bad. By doing this they will establish Laurel a seperate entity from Team Arrow. Then she can even put together BoP with Katana and Huntress next season for few episodes.
ReplyDeleteNo more triangles please. The current triangle does not look like a triangle more like a head ache. Also Oliver and Felicity get together or not I hope they do't pair the next superhero with her.
