The episode transports us back in time to when McGarrett was still in the navy. Really what this episode was all about was how far this show has come since it started somewhat 4 seasons ago.

This episode was all about Wo Fat, and I can't reveal too much about what happens between Wo Fat and McGarrett, but needless to say you will be very happy with the outcome. McGarrett also found out a lot more about his family, and especially Wo Fat in this episode.

The episode was remarkably written, some of the lines in this episode are what we come to expect from Hawaii Five-0. This episode really gave us what we have been wanting all season from Hawaii Five-0. There was also the return of a familiar face in this episode, which I'm sure fans will enjoy,

At the end of this episode, there is something that lovers of this show since its beginning in 2010 will certainly enjoy. There is a montage of all the moments that have shaped Hawaii Five-0 into what it is today, that really was the best part of the episode for me. I loved seeing some of the best moments of Hawaii Five-0, all wrapped into one nice montage.

I also loved seeing flashbacks in this episode, back to when Five-0 wasn't even on the horizon. Seeing members of the unit's lives before there was Five-0. But the episode was remarkable in the fact that it gave us insight into that this team is Ohana, and nobody gets left behind.

The montage combined with some really emotional moments of this episode, really created quite an inspirational episode, that is unique to the crime procedural genre.  The episode will be enjoyed by anyone who is a fan of Hawaii Five-0's emotional themes, I sure enjoyed it.

Overall, this episode was spectacular, I really enjoyed it. Hawaii Five-0 has the ability to create something spectacular, and that was done right here with this episode. The 100th episode of Hawaii Five-0 is really something fan's absolutely cannot be missed!

  12. This is probably not the right forum for this, but is anyone on the show gonna mention Cath again? Steve told he loved her an then... What, one mention after that? Seriously?

  13. They have confirmed that Michelle Borth will not be returning this season. But yes, I get what you mean, they never really wrapped up the storyline.

    Thanks for your comment.

  15. I know that she won't return this season, probably never, which is a real shame. I miss her...

Yes,precisely! If they are planning on giving Steve a new girlfriend, then then should wrap it the situation with his old one,so to speak. And even if they don't give him a new girlfriend, could they at least mention the old one? What she is doing,it or that he misses her or something.

    Sorry,I am ranting.

  16. No,you're not.Everything you're saying is valid.I don't remember anyone mentioning her name even this season,it's like she vanished into thin air.So odd!

  17. It is,isn't? Then again, the core fans did not like her. Maybe the writers don't wanna upset them or something? I don't know.

  18. I caught up with this show just a week before season 5 premiered,it was in that 1 week,i discovered the whole tale of bad blood between michelle and the H50 fans!TBH,i started watching the show coz i like Macdanno's bromance as many and i made an exception as i hardly watch any cop procedurals. But the whole hate thing looked a little ridiculous to me.If i remember correctly,in season 2,lori who was supposed to steve's GF,got off the show abruptly in episode 15.It seems the fans don't like any female coming between steve and danny!LOL!

  19. I started watching because of the actor that playes Steve. Liked his previous shows.

The Mcdanno bromance is great. Those two make me laugh at a regular basis 😃

There are people who wants the show to just focus on the 4 main characters, or so they say. Funny that Adam doesn't get that much hate then huh?

  20. I like the show just as is,only thing they can improve on is the female character. There is literally 1 female series regular as opposed to 5 male series regular, that's not respectful in any way!

    ReplyDelete
  21. Very well put!

  22. Sorry dear, but it's 'you're', not your.
