USA NETWORK ORDERS THIRD SEASON OF ORIGINAL DRAMA “GRACELAND” FROM CREATOR JEFF EASTIN AND FOX TELEVISION STUDIOS
NEW YORK – November 11, 2014 – USA Network today announced a 13-episode third season order for the provocative one-hour series GRACELAND, a high-stakes serialized drama from creator Jeff Eastin (White Collar), which follows a group of elusive undercover agents who live in a web of lies while operating under the same roof. The series is produced for USA by Fox Television Studios.
“This season of Graceland took viewers on a wild ride with unexpected character twists, and a heart-stopping cliffhanger that left a lead character’s fate in question,” said USA Network President Chris McCumber. “Jeff Eastin and the talented ensemble cast deliver on all levels, and season three will undoubtedly continue to keep us on the edge of our seats.”
Said Fox Television Studios’ Senior Vice President, Programming, Nancy Cotton, “FTVS truly values the long and fruitful relationship we have with Jeff and USA. We could not be more excited to bring USA viewers another thrilling season of GRACELAND.”
The sophomore season followed the dangerous lives of six undercover federal agents living together in a government-seized Southern California beachfront house. These FBI, DEA and ICE agents, whose lies are their lives, struggled to maintain a sense of normalcy. This was especially challenging when former FBI rookie, Mike Warren (Aaron Tveit, “Les Miserables”) returned to “Graceland” to run point on a dangerous mission against the cartel. Briggs (Daniel Sunjata, "Rescue Me"), still concerned about the missing recording that implicated him in a murder, attempted to clean up his life and repair his relationships. The season ended with a stunning cliffhanger: Sid (Carmine Giovinazzo) smothering a hospitalized Mike as Briggs raced to try to save him from Sid’s deadly hands.
GRACELAND season two delivered an L7 average of 2.6M total viewers P2+, 1.25M P18-49, 1.4M P25-54. The show experienced huge DVR lifts, with 112% average increases in 18-49.
The renewal of GRACELAND comes on the heels of pick-ups for original dramas Suits, SATISFACTION and Royal Pains. The network has a strong drama pipeline, including four pilots: MR. ROBOT, with Christian Slater (“Nymphomaniac,” “Adderall Diaries”) and Rami Malek (“24”); COLONY from executive producers Carlton Cuse (“Lost,” “Bates Motel”) and Ryan Condal (“Hercules”) and starring Sarah Wayne Callies (“The Walking Dead”) and Josh Holloway (“Lost”); STANISTAN starring Jennifer Carpenter (“Dexter”); and QUEEN OF THE SOUTH, starring Alice Braga (“I am Legend,” “City of God”), based on the international best seller “La Reina Del Sur”– which spawned one of the most popular telenovelas of all time on USA’s sister network Telemundo. The network ended the summer on top and won Q3 across all key demos (25-54, 18-49, 18-34).
GRACELAND is currently available on video on demand, USANetwork.com and Amazon Prime. Fans can access Graceland: Undercover, an interactive second screen experience offering the unique opportunity to live the secret life of federal agents, online or it via download on audio content recognition-enabled iOS mobile and tablet apps available in the Apple App Store.
GRACELAND comes from creator and executive producer Eastin (White Collar) and Fox Television Studios, and stars Sunjata, Tveit, Vanessa Ferlito (“Grindhouse”), Brandon Jay McLaren (“Falling Skies”), Serinda Swan (“Breakout Kings) and Manny Montana (“Chicago Code”). The series is shot on location in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Oh thank God! Now I can stop worrying. And after Lifetime took so long to cancel Witches of East End, I was sure this was going to get cancelled too.
ReplyDeleteSame here!! I'm happy and sad. I kind of wanted to forget the whole WTF Paige fiasco...
ReplyDeleteGraceland and me are taking a breather, I will check it out once season 3 is over.
ReplyDeleteThank God!! I was getting worried!! Love this show, can´t wait for the new season after that finale!!
ReplyDeleteYAY!!!! Great news.
ReplyDeleteApart from Paige selling out Mike at the end, I mostly enjoyed Season 2.
So scared about Covert Affairs.
ReplyDeleteCovert Affairs will probably get a final season of either 6 episodes (White Collar) or 8 episodes (Royal Pains but minus the two season renewal).
ReplyDeleteI'm super excited about the renewal! I really hope they didn't kill Mike. Different interviews I've read have me so confused about what to expect.
ReplyDeleteI hope Mike is alive. Paige has some explaining to do. I'm kinda looking forward to watching her guilt eat her up.
ReplyDeleteYAY! Nice surprise! I'm so so relieved and excited about this! I can't wait! Though I'm expecting a better third season and hoping that Mike is still alive. Anyway this is great news for me! :)
ReplyDeletesooooooooo happy!!! Up & down of my seat!!!
ReplyDeleteTook them long enough.
ReplyDeleteThis show really needs to get back to the basics and dynamics of season 1
ReplyDeleteGood. No matter how I felt about certain aspects of the second season, ending the story there would have been just plain cruel.
ReplyDeleteThey read t me like he was certainly dead when he compared it to Game of Thrones.
ReplyDeleteI'm right there with you. The way Eastin gutted this show last season when it came to Paige, Mike, and Paul is kind of mind boggling.
ReplyDeleteI felt like season two was a HUGE disappointment compared to the first season (which, IMO, was absolutely brilliant), but I'm still relieved that USA is giving them another chance. Fingers crossed that it'll pick up the pace and focus more on the team again.
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised considering last season sucked. The entire season was about the damn bus storyline and everyone was OOC (out of character), with the exception of Johnny i guess.
ReplyDeleteThis is the best news I've got all day!! I am still upset that they cancelled Rush and TNT's Dallas and Lifetime's Witches of East End. At least, they didn't cancel this too which is another one of my favorites. I was beginning to get worried as well, can breathe a sigh of relief now!!
ReplyDeleteHallelujah, I was really afraid they would drop it. I can see why many people have issues with the last season, but I liked it. Almost all characters were difficult to watch but I don't thing it was bad writing, just the schow choosing to let the characters make really bad choices. Panifull to watch although not unbelievable considering they live under the constant stress.
ReplyDeleteI hope next season will really reap the concequences of all their actions.
