During a panel for Stan Lee’s Comikaze event, Gotham director Danny Cannon revealed the Fox show will add the Scarecrow this season. Fox confirmed the addition.
According to Zap2It, the villain will be seen as a child, before he takes on the Scarecrow name. “In fact, it’s something that will be passed on to him from his father, which will create an eventual enemy for Batman while still having a possible adversary for Jim Gordon.”

I feel like they have way too many characters at once on this show. They really need to write some of the current ones out to make room for these others.
ReplyDeletethe first big batman villain after poison ivy to be a kid and the scarecrow being a mantle that's new
ReplyDeletenot going to lie, that announcement really means nothing given that it's ANOTHER backstory
ReplyDeleteHave the folks behind Gotham ever heard of foreplay? Cause it seems like this show is all about getting to the climax first.
ReplyDeletethe question is: can gotham have a villain or supervillain without batman. Otherwise every character (like scarecrow and os on) are all going to be backstories.
ReplyDeleteThis is terrifying.
ReplyDeleteWhat's wrong with a show that gives the backstories to eventual villains while also telling how Gordon got to the point he's at in the Batman comics and movies?
ReplyDeletethere is such a thing as "too much"
ReplyDeletethe show started out with Gordon, Bruce, Poison Ivy, Riddler and Penguin. Already a way too big lineup. They will eventually add characters to that roster, I can imagine Mr. Freeze, Killer Croc and others to show up sooner or later.
I really don't know and have lost most of my motivation to watch this show, I'll probably drop it after mid-season. It's gorgeous and has pretty damn good acting but it's just missing something vital
ReplyDeleteIronic for a show that is essentially foreplay
ReplyDeleteThat's the problem: they're desperate to prove to us that it's not just a regular cop procedural. So rather than giving us more Bruce and Selina(which would solve that problem), they're resorting to adding in as many characters from the comics as possible.
ReplyDeleteFish and Barbara need to go in favor of more Penguin and Bruce and Selina. It just feels like too much like a regular cop procedural right now because Bruce and Selina have nothing to do.
ReplyDeleteBruce and Selina are little kids on a cop show. Of course they have nothing to do lol.
ReplyDeleteThat's the problem. Either Heller and company should not have tried to turn it into a regular cop procedural, or they shouldn't have made Bruce and Selina season regulars. Personally, I would much rather see what Bruce and Selina are up to than see Gordon and Bullock solve yet another crime of the week.
ReplyDeleteexaclty the show is good but you have the feeling something is missing.
