Wow can't believe this is happening! I didn't catch up with the last 2 eps but ABC must have faith or a 2nd plan for it. Maybe move it into the 8pm timeslot and give The Whisperers the 10pm.
I enjoy the show, so I'm glad. If the ratings don't pick up, I hope they at least wrap the major mystery at the end of the season. Of course, I'd rather the ratings pick up and we get more seasons.
I thought ABC would schedule The Whispers at 10 when Forever had aired all 13. Maybe they'll move Forever at 8 now to make space for The Whispers. They can't air repeats at 8PM for the remainder of the season as they don't have any comedies to put there.
why not people are enjoying it, ratings are poor but this is a back 9 we're talking about not a second season renewal. I'd rather have loads of low rated shows to watch than a few top rated ones with loads of repeats.
I am delighted. We need a bit of pleasant escapism in our viewing menu. It is easy on the eyes and you do not walk away feeling all angxsty. A very nice surprise to hear this today. Enjoy the historical elements mixed in with the modern . And it can manage telling a mystery without resorting to shock and gore-- we have plenty of that already.
I'm very surprised and very pleased. I still wouldn't bet on the show getting a season two but I'm damn glad for the full-season pickup. Thanks for throwin' me a bone, ABC. I appreciate it.
Like like the series a lot, but I hope that soon they'll devote time to the Adam story and the concept of immortality. But for now as long as they keep showcasing the Henry and Abe story I'm good.
Despite its lackluster ratings I think ABC really has a charming and fun show in its hands with Forever. I know many people who were turned off by the premise alone, but after watching it found it to be better than they expected. Maybe ABC can get some mileage out of it yet....
Such fantastic news! I'd been trying not to get too attached, since it looked so likely the title would turn out to be ironic :P I'm so very glad I was wrong! Hoping this will mean it has time to build up its fan base until its strong enough to stick around a while!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Cool. Cool. Cool. Cool.
ReplyDeleteOh really? I'm glad for the fans.
ReplyDeleteWatched the pilot, liked it but still haven't had the time to watch the others.
The show will probably move to a new night. ( Sundays at 10 ? )

ReplyDeleteYES!!!!
ReplyDeletea bit of a surprise, but even though it hasn't blown me away, I've been enjoying the show, and will keep doing so
