No Mom !
ReplyDeleteElementary went down by 0.2 why is that........
ReplyDeleteCBS was pre-empted so the early ratings were inflated.
ReplyDelete:( i was really hoping Reign would adjust up by one tenth
ReplyDeleteWow Reign is low.
ReplyDeleteIt was preempted.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad TVD was adjusted up
ReplyDeleteCurrent CW averages:
ReplyDeleteThe 100: 0.5
JtV: 0.48
Reign: 0.43
I feel like Elementary won't stay at this timeslot for long... This show is dying more and more...
ReplyDeleteNot much difference between the three
ReplyDeleteShame Elementary went down, same with Mom. Both shows deserve higher than what they get.
ReplyDeleteThey'll probably let it run its fourth season on Fridays or Sundays.
ReplyDeleteI know it wont happen, but I would like to see POI with Elementary again.
ReplyDeletedamn I wonder why this season is lowered.......it was like around 1.5 to 1.8 last season with the same amount of competition
ReplyDeleteThink both shows would get a nice boost then.
ReplyDeleteagreed about mom
ReplyDeletethere has to be a reason why elementary is getting 1.2 as opposed to 1.5 to 1.8 range
ReplyDeleteNot sure. It's gonna get a fourth season regardless, though.
ReplyDeleteYep there is, not as many people in the demo are watching it as there was last year.
ReplyDeleteI would say How to get away with Murder is part of the reason, but I am not sure if they share the same audience.
ReplyDeleteScandal had that timeslot v Elementary last year.
ReplyDeleteDamn, Mom adjusted down three-tenths? The McCarthys should be pulled any minute now.
ReplyDeleteOuch for USA. final season renewal for Covert Affairs coming?
It was weird to see the guy (Nate ryan) from revenge on Scandal
ReplyDeletehappy for TVD , but i want 1 next week
ReplyDeleteI don't know, CBS has totally fucked up their schedule this year.. Honestly a lot of shows could do better on other timeslot. Most of their shows are down... I'm still pissed about CSI, it was doing so good on Wednesday with Criminal Minds.. A shame to waste it on Sunday while Stalker is doing bad on Wednesday. Same for Elementary, it would be better on another time.
ReplyDeleteI remember. Do you know if How to get away with murder/ Scandal/Elementary share the same audience? If they all don't then I have no idea why its doing so bad.
ReplyDeleteWhen abouts does The CW start doing their cancellations, I would think very soon since winter hiatus is soon and they have to schedule the mid-season shows before then.
ReplyDeleteException of episodes 4 and 6 of both shows (0.2 and 0.4 difference in Scandal's favour) both shows have been within 0.1 of each other this season. Both target the same demographic - which is not the same demographic that Elementary target, I'd say.
ReplyDeleteThey did a big mistake when they moved POI on tuesdays !
ReplyDeleteMay.
ReplyDeleteSo they don't do any early cancellations?
ReplyDeleteYes they did, every since its been there it hasn't been doing great.
ReplyDeleteI think because Elementary/How to get away with Murder does have the same viewers due to being both mystery
ReplyDeleteWell, last year they didn't. Year before they cancelled Emily Owens MD on 11/28.
ReplyDeleteHAPPY FOR TVD!
ReplyDeleteDamn, I was hoping to use that as excuse for why Elementary is not doing great.
ReplyDeleteLet's hope so!
ReplyDeleteLol. In the long run it doesn't really matter that much though, because it'll get renewed anyway.
ReplyDeleteI'm happy but I'm crying, this new season of TVD is wonderful, I hope it continues adjusting up!
ReplyDeleteOk, that's good to know. I watch The 100 and Resurrection both of which aren't doing that well in the ratings and was a bit scared they'd get cancelled before the season ended. This at least gives me hope that both will air the full seasons.
ReplyDeleteA few things could be changed definitely. Something had to go Sunday at 10pm although I never understood why it was CSI, since The Good Wife is about Law (to my understanding) and Madam Secretary is a political drama.
ReplyDeleteThe 100 has 16 (I think?) episodes this season, and I'd expect the CW to air them all before deciding. I don't know what ABC will do with Resurrection, though.
ReplyDeleteLOL whoops yeah Resurrection is ABC, not sure why I was thinking it was CW. I hope that'll be for the whole season seeing as it's only 13 episode,
ReplyDeleteTGW is airing after MS, at least for now. Then they're moving things about again and it hurts my brain http://www.spoilertv.com/2014/11/cbs-announces-return-date-of-mentalist.html
ReplyDeletestill hoping it will go up eventually.......if CBS is willing to do a criminal minds/Stalker combo then why not The Mentalist/Elementary combo.....
ReplyDeleteThere is so much shuffling of the schedule.
ReplyDeleteJust thought I'd let you know that a few people actually managed to get into a Revenge argument tonight on TVBTN :)
ReplyDeleteLol I saw i decided to read through the conversation. Here I can mention revenge and there is no complaining or arguing :)
ReplyDeleteIt is only because of that one dumb User who claims WE always mention revenge but He is the one Who always brings it up and complains when we respond. That is all he wants: to bother us
ReplyDeleteYeah, the one who leaves the comments then signs out and it comes up as guest, right?
ReplyDeleteIt's such a shame, I enjoy reading the comments there. But a Revenge fight on a Friday? Come on
ReplyDeleteYes lol!
ReplyDeleteI know it is ridiciolous. I feel sorry for revenge because it gets sooo much hatred very often for no reason.
ReplyDeleteThank god TVD adjusted up!
ReplyDeleteThe 9:30 Thurs. rerun of #ThatsSoRaven on Disney averaged a 0.7 with A18-34, beating The McCarthys, A to Z, Gracepoint & Reign in the demo.— Joe Adalian (@TVMoJoe) November 7, 2014
ReplyDeleteThey very rarely cancel/pull a show before its episodes order is done.Runaways,Beautiful Life are two examples of this during the regular season. As Bradley mentioned,Emily Ownes aired its inital 13 episode Oder but didn't get a backorder and was cancelled, same with Life is Wild.During summer, they're quicker to pull the trigger-Famous in 12,Sed,Backpackers,18 to Life only lasted 2-3 episodes.Though CW did move to Cult to Fri after three episodes on Tues debuted at 0.3& then pulled after three Fri episodes one if which I believe got a 0.1.Jane and Reign aren't doing good but not bad enough yet to pulled/cancelled.The 100 will air all it's 16 episodes unless it falls to 0.3 or lower.
ReplyDeleteI've been thinking about that for Covert Affairs. I think next season should be the final season, they've done all the stories that they can. But that's my opinion...
ReplyDeleteWhere are you getting the 'two sig figs after the decimal' figures from, please? (I do a ratings thread on my 'home board'). I was using Futon Critic but they lost their source of 'final, multi-digit data.'
ReplyDeleteOur ratings database http://stvplus.com/ratings has an option where you can look at the 'Bottom 3 Shows for each Broadcast Network'. We only enter to one d.p. into the database but obviously if you have 0.4 and 0.5 in there, the average is 0.45 so that's what comes up.
ReplyDeleteFacepalm! I see, this site is averaging the data for these shows. Since The 100 has straight 0.5's reported, the average is 0.5 and so forth.
