One Last Pour with the Cul de Sac Crew: The Sixth and Final Season of TBS's Cougar Town Begins Jan. 6
This winter, TBS will pour one last round of wine-soaked fun as the hit series Cougar Town returns for its sixth and final season. Courteney Cox, Christa Miller, Busy Philipps, Dan Byrd, Ian Gomez and Josh Hopkins star in this comedy, which centers on the Cul de Sac Crew, a tight-knit group of friends who keep things funny while supporting each other through the challenges and pitfalls of life – with a little dysfunction and a whole lot of wine. The final season is set to launch Tuesday, Jan. 6, at 10:30 p.m. (ET/PT), exclusively on TBS.
Cox plays Jules Cobb, a meddling mom who is utterly devoted to her husband, Grayson (Hopkins), and her adult son, Travis (Byrd). Their tight-knit circle of friends includes Ellie (Miller), Jules' incessantly sarcastic next-door neighbor and confidante; Andy (Gomez), Ellie's doting husband and the mayor of Gulfhaven; and Laurie (Philipps), Jules' protégé who also happens to be pregnant with Travis' baby. Also included in the mix are Jules’ endearingly dimwitted ex-husband, Bobby (guest star Brian Van Holt), and her widowed neighbor Dr. Tom (guest star Robert Clendenin), who’s had a longtime crush on Jules.
At the end of last season, Laurie and Travis discovered that they were going to have a baby. This future addition to the Cul de Sac Crew has the whole gang excited and is sure to lead to more funny moments and chaos than ever before. This season, Laurie and Travis try to adjust to their new role as first-time parents, and Jules settles in to being a grandmother. Meanwhile, Andy unexpectedly loses his job and best friend, leaving him to figure out how to move forward. Ellie goes back to work and proves she hasn’t lost her ruthless lawyer skills. And Tom continues his desperate quest for the Cul de Sac Crew's acceptance.
Cougar Town was created by executive producer Bill Lawrence (Scrubs, TBS's Ground Floor) and consulting producer Kevin Biegel (Scrubs). The series is produced by ABC Studios, with Lawrence, Cox, David Arquette, Randall Winston and showrunner Blake McCormick serving as executive producers.

Wish they hadn't spoiled the baby's name in the press release. Rude but still so excited for this season!
