Chicago Fire Chicago PD Law and Order SVUThis Friday (7th of November) I will be taking part in a conference call with Matt Olmstead (Executive Producer/Showrunner of Chicago Fire and Chicago PD) and Warren Leight (Executive Producer/Showrunner of Law and Order: SVU). The conference call will be about NBC's upcoming 3 show crossover between the three shows.
What questions do you want me to ask? Please keep in mind that I will only be able to ask about 1 or 2 questions. Leave your questions in the comments, and I'll be sure to write them down!
Is stabler coming back? Question for Matt
ReplyDeleteCan you please consider asking if they can elaborate on the nature of
ReplyDeletethe encounter between Severide and the mystery Vegas woman, Brittany?
Don't you mean stapler? Lol
ReplyDeleteHow much of each show and their own tension and dynamics will be represented in their hour of the crossover?
ReplyDeleteAdded to the list. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteAre Lindsay and Severide really over (romantically)? Will they have any more scenes together this season (I don't want them to be over just yet :/)?
ReplyDeleteAdded :)
ReplyDeleteAre we going to see the friendship between Severide and Brett progress any more?
ReplyDeleteThanks for your question!
ReplyDeleteAdded to the list, thanks for your question!
ReplyDeleteThere was things said that this case gets really personal for Lindsay. How does that situation affect Erin, emotionally and physically during the 3-part crossover?
ReplyDeleteI like this, a lot.
ReplyDeleteQuestion for Matt-will casey's past concussion which caused his memory problems be causing potential danger & create conflict between him & gabby moving forward?
ReplyDeleteSerina Swan apparently has a multiple episode arc ...
ReplyDeletewill SVU and CPD have any more crossovers this season? why don't Gabby and Antonio have crossovers, they are related. They make the most sense then unneeded characters from Fire
ReplyDeleteI'm curios to know if there will be any Ruzek (PD) & Rollins (SVU) interaction in Chicago now that also Amaro (SVU) will be around?
ReplyDeleteEven though it might not be a crossover question I'm also curios about any regrets about killing Shay. I jumped the show when I found out who died. CF is dead to me.
ReplyDeleteDid Matt and Warrens writing teams write for their characters or did they write for the episodes, so how much did both writing teams cross paths?
ReplyDeleteThis was an article in TVGuide with the showrunners after that episode aired.Maybe this will give you the answer your looking for? http://www.tvguide.com/News/Chicago-Fire-Death-Postmortem-Matt-Olmstead-1087486.aspx
ReplyDeleteThanks laura3341, I appreciate your reply :)
ReplyDeleteHave read that article before though and think it's a load of crap frankly. Killing Severide or Casey would have had the biggest impact on the entire crew but they were too chicken to go there (not that I think it was necessary to kill anyone tho, creative writers don't have to use the 'hey let's kill someone to make a real splash') so they killed one of only two female leads & an admired gay character instead and replaced her with a look-a-like (minus the gay part). So I say lazy writing & good bye CF ;)
Thankfull there's plenty of good shows out there to watch and I don't think CF is lacking viewers, at least not straight ones ;)
Is Jay appears in the Chicago Fire episodes? And what will be the Jay's reactions when Erin will be hurt? mmm Just ask about the Jay's role in the crossover please
ReplyDeleteIs the crossover going to bring Lindsay and Halstead a bit more closer together?
ReplyDeleteWill the crossover bring Erin and Halstead a bit closer together?(Hoping its yes!)
ReplyDeleteDitto! I've abandoned CF. Shay was one of the coolest characters. Besides Severide and Casey, the rest are pretty boring. At least all of CPD's characters are fun.
ReplyDeleteWhich question/scenes would you like to unfold between these crossover if you could do whatever you wanted or have you done it...?
ReplyDeleteWould this crossover be any turning point in any of the storylines? Because it at least looks that way for Lindsay?
ReplyDeleteWill Severide show concerned for an injured Lindsay? Also later down the line will Severide and Halstead have any interaction regarding Lindsay?
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome! I agree,i don't think they needed to kill anyone off this season, let alone a female. Lazy writing, yep but this show isn't real big on character development, they rely on the explosions, car wrecks and fires. That's there main priority throwing in character woes and relationships comes second.
ReplyDeleteOh so you want the writers to spill all the beans ... :)
ReplyDeleteOf course!
ReplyDeleteWell at least let us know if Severide and Halstead will compete for Lindsays affection!!
ReplyDeleteLOL! :)
ReplyDeleteConsider this question? :)
ReplyDeleteWhat is the most fun part about writing crossover events?
Yeah, add this!!
ReplyDelete"Are we going to see anymore after effects from Casey's injury on 'Fire'" ?
Why did Olmstead say in a previous interview that Severide would stay with Lindsay throughout season three if they were breaking up? Is Linseride as dead as Shay?
ReplyDeletePlease can you ask Warren if we will get to see some sort of action between Amanda and Nick? We know it is going on but we haven't even seen a kiss or even a little hand holding. Will they openly address their feelings for each other or is this something that is going nowhere? Would really like to see a bit of romance and the build up is the most special part but I feel like we are being denied this!
ReplyDeleteHow difficult was the crossover filming with all the different writers, actors, and crew? Is that why they are so good?
ReplyDeleteIn which episode is Lindsay shot and will her physical injuries last past the crossover event?
ReplyDeleteThanks for all your questions so far everyone!
ReplyDeleteAny "action" planned between Benson and Voight?
ReplyDeleteIs there a place to read the interview with all of these questions?
