    I like Forever, but honestly I think ABC should stop with this cross-promo!
    I (and a lot of people) already understood that ABC´s idea was that Forever would take Castle´s place (personally I see some similarities and there´s one that kind of bothers me-Jo wearing her wedding ring in a necklace, aka Kate with her mother´s), but it won´t happen no matter how much ABC forces it (at least not for me).
    Like I said, I like Forever, but Castle has a better cast - Ioan Gruffud isn´t anywhere near Nathan Fillion, Alana deLa Garza is nowhere near Stana Katic, and there isn´t anyone near Castle´s supporting cast:)

    The thing is, Forever isn't 'taking Castle's place.' If Forever can build it's ratings, and if the Castle cast are willing to renew their contracts, ABC would presumably be thrilled to keep both shows. If Forever stays and the Castle folks don't renew, at least we'd have one vaguely similar show to soften that blow. But If Forever fails, (which I'd hate, but ratings have a long way to go), we may still lose Castle too due to those expiring contracts. It's not an either/or scenario.

    I know it´s not an "either/or scenario" now - but I still think it was ABC´s idea from the beginning - they even premiered it on a monday night, do you think it wasn´t purposely?
    But nothing against it, I just think that if it didn´t work by now, it won´t work just because of that cross-promo:)

    This attitude is why I hate Castle. I hope that Stana and/or Nathan decide that they're done with the show this year and that it all ends as unsatisfactorily as possible for you and those like you.
    Also, Castle should have been moved seasons ago - the only reason it's alive is because of the time slot it's in.

    Yeah, because your attitude is soooo mature, starting by not even showing a name:):)
    And did you read when I said I actually like Forever?
    And even if Castle ends this season (wich I´m ok with and actually think will happen), it will never end unsatisfactorily for me since at least C/B are already married, so good luck with that!:)
    And, unlike you and people like you, I don´t hate any show - if I like it I watch, if not I don´t and surely don´t comment on it!

    Apparently i'm the only one enjoying these combo promos?? I looooove Castle and i started watching Forever because of Ioan Gruffud and i'm so hooked up, it's a charming show :) the similarities between the two shows are there but i'm not annoyed by them, i actually think it's a good thing because i need more shows like these two :)

    Actually they are on par with each other. De la Garza JUDD Hirsch, Ioan..Joel David Moore, Lorraine Toussaint, Donnie keshawarz..including amazing guest stars....This cast has the same..If not more experience than the entire castle cast put together..I can't even think of anything that stana has been in before castle...where as Garza has Law and Order under her belt..
    Plus the ring situation...let's be serious....that isn't Kate Beckett's "thing". I've seen it a lot and it's a human thing to do....remembering loss...its not like she is wearing a watch that was her fathers...

    But I watch all of Forever, like I said I like the show:)
    But honestly its serialised element doesn´t get much of my attention, I prefer Castle´s one, even it being less (I suppose I find it more realistic, because someone never dying - at least for me - is kind of supernatural). And I remember Stana Katic being in E.R,, CSI:Miami and Heroes (even if it was only 1 or 2 episodes, but I was blessed with a great memory - I also remember Alana DeLa Garza in CSI:Miami and I know she was in L.&O.).
    Anyway, I actually would like to see Castle and Forever airing one after the other, no matter the order - I´d watch both:)

    "Ioan Gruffud(d) isn´t anywhere near Nathan Fillion" - Now that's just crazy talk. :-) They are both fantastic actors, but I need to consider Firefly to say that of Nathan Fillion. His abilities are so underused in Castle it's depressing. There are very few moments where he gets to be much more than a goofy clown and it's such a waste. How anyone could say that's better than Ioan who at least gets to perform a range of emotion and situations in Forever is beyond me. Do you maybe only know Ioan previously from the Fantastic Four? I can see how it could skew someone's judgment if they didn't like those movies.
