  1. Uprising of heroes!!!

  2. I'm thinking it means the rising of the heroes in Star City and the return of the Arrow. This should be the episode in wich they defeat Brick.

  3. That's interesting.

  4. Well since Brick is in this episode and he's supposed to lead a cartell I guess that these villains are uprising to take over town.

There HAS to be a timejump, it just fits the story SO well. Oliver away with the LoA training, Diggle/Roy/Felicity/Laurel keeping the streets clean, Merlyn slowly taking over town in the shadows and using Thea as Cheshire

  5. I would rather have an Uprising among the heroes as in mutiny - Now, that would be interesting. ;) :)

This likely have a double meaning.......rising of heroes lead by Wildcat? + police lead by captain lance agains Brick and the criminal in the city who is rising to take control once and for all

  7. Gotta feeling the Merlyn's will uprise here.

  8. The show is too young for that. May be in 2 more seasons. I want to see Oliver stuck in supermax prison where Slade, Malcolm and some other bad guys are incarcerated down the road too.

  9. Will he tattoo a map of the prison on his body? Maybe they could call Captain Cold for some help with that. ;)

  10. There was green arrow movie planned few years before with the title Supermax with this theme where green arrow gets stuck in a prison full of dangerous inmates he send there and trying to get out of there. When Diggle called Slade's prison ARGUS's supermax I was like oh they might do that.

Captain Cold was so cool... Pun intended :)

  11. Interesting, didn't know about it. He needs a few more big villains to be locked up there, but it could be a fun premise for a bit. And Captain Cold was a chill dude ;) can't wait for him to come back and reunite with his Prison Break Bro and wreck havoc.

  12. I'm on the bandwagon of "Left Behind", "Midnight City" and "Uprising" being part of some huge three-episode event. While Arsenal, Diggle, Black Canary and possibly Wildcat are dealing with Brick and his gang in Starling City, I think Ollie will be dealing with the League of Assassins…ugh, thank you Nolan for making me always type out 'Shadows' first.

  13. I think Lian Yu's underground prison is Arrow's version of a supermax prison.

  14. what makes you think the Arrow's missing

  15. well we SHIELD fans know that an uprising blew the MCU out of the water i wonder what'll be here

  16. Stephen said that for a couple of episodes the only scenes he has will be flashbacks that combined with the episodes' titles "the climb" "left behind" and the photo he shared of him standing on the top of a mountain makes me think that he will go some place away from Starling, have a big fight with Ra's Al Ghul and either get captured or for some reason joins the LoA.

  17. During the Arrow After Show Stephen was just on, when asked about all the time he was getting off of late (which seems to be falling into the time frame of the above 3 epis), he alluded to being in every epi, yet just in the flashbacks of some... So I totally agree with you about the 3-epi event, my take on it though is, at the end of 'The Climb' everyone's gonna think Oliver's dead after he battles whomever he's battling on the mountain (not knowing he's been captured by the LOA) - cue time jump to 'Left Behind' where Team "Arrow" - sans Oliver - are trying to clean up Starling, but are doing a pretty piss poor job of it, leading into the next 2 epis where the bad guys start taking massive control of the city again...

side note: every time I see the title Midnight City, my mind automatically jumps to Papa Midnight...

  18. oh whoa yeah honestly that would be so awesome i mean i would feel bad for Team Arrow and thea and laurel but it would a cool storyline

  19. It would be heartbreaking for everyone but mainly Thea especially since they just started to repair their relationship and I'm afraid that it will drive her closer to Malcolm BUT it would be a very interesting storyline.

  20. Awwww they're on episode 12. I feel like it's almost over. Lol seriously.

  21. 11 more episodes to go. I'm sure they'll have a twist or two planned still

    ReplyDelete
  22. And don't forget, without Ollie, Team Arrow will struggle even internally while trying to figure out who will lead the team as they always referred to Ollie as the "boss" of this crusade.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Hahaha that's not the point! It's going too fast.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Exactly! The team's dynamic will totally shift. I think if they do end up going that route, it'd be interesting to see that clash of personalities and their (what I assume would be) chaotic approaches to missions which would leave the door open for guys like Brick to just sweep in and take control. Right now the core group has a level of synergy and understanding with each other, which poses the question: What happens when Oliver isn't there? What happens to that synergy when a new member (like Laurel) joins the group?

    ReplyDelete
  25. My thoughts exactly. Diggle has always just leaned on Oliver, and to some point Felicity does as well, but at times she's even more stubborn than Roy, and speaking of him…he's the most hot-headed person in the team, so who knows if he'd listen to anyone besides Oliver and then bringing in Laurel and she'll probably try to take over…I mean, she did order around that cop just a few episodes back when it wasn't her place to do such.

  26. As much as they are desperately trying to go in against the whole Speedy expectation, I still highly doubt that they'll suddenly make her Cheshire or whatever, specially for the reasons that I don't think a time jump will happen, I think it would be kind of weird to just have her as Cheshire for a few episodes. Or mostly the fact that Cheshire is pretty damn evil, and then there will be absolutely no way back to becoming Speedy.

But then again, it would be Oliver's own stupid fault and the weird writing of suddenly letting Malcolm be such a great guy that Oliver just lets walk free as if nothing ever happened.

But I would personally still like to believe that even as the biggest hypocrite ever and being totally vague on who's side she really is, that Thea's one of the good guys, not just mini-Merlyn that's going to do his bidding and kill for him or whatever.

Then again... She does weirdly seem to constantly connect mentions of The Arrow, instantly to Malcolm and him protecting her or whatever weirndess that is about... So if she'd think Oliver is dead, I guess who knows.

    ReplyDelete
  27. LOL< yeah which most likely would very QUICKLY turn mostly annoying... I mean, is anyone REALLY enjoying this hypocrite vague Thea that might be repairing her bond with Oliver, but still seems to care the most of anything about Malcolm anyway? So yeah, I share that worry about her getting closer to Malcolm, specially because it still feels more like ruining her, than an interesting storyline.

  28. That character conflict and head-butting would be so interesting! Laurel would probably fashion herself leader, whereas the group would see Dig as second in command after Oliver, leaving Felicity to referee between the 2 and Roy sitting in the corner waiting for someone to tell him who to punch...

Although it even has the possibility of going a totally different direction. So soon after Sara's death, I can totally picture either Dig or Felicity (or even both of them for that matter) not being able to go back to the foundry. For Dig, he has a new born at home and it could just hit him like, "I have to put baby Sara and Lyla first". For Felicity, it could just be too painful for her, so she just throws herself completely into her QC job... Roy's the only one who doesn't really have anything outside of the Foundry to do (I doubt the job Thea offered him would be enough) he'd probably be the only one trying to keep Oliver's crusade alive... Laurel and Ted would probably veer off into their own "crusade"...

That story line seriously has so many possibilities for all the characters to be explored in such a way that hasn't been done before on the show...

    ReplyDelete
  29. Well Diggle signed back up to the team because of Sara's death and Felicity always wanted to fight the good fight as she didn't leave the team once they found Walter back in S1, so I don't think it'll be about who will stay on Team Arrow after Ollie's supposed death, but more as in who will end up leading now that Ollie has supposedly died.

    ReplyDelete
  30. lol you're totally right... All I'm saying is, there is quite a few potential story lines on that route. Great thing with Arrow, it is very rarely predictable...
