YES! I hope Ted kick Ollie's ass for a change :P Go Wildcat, proves the veteran spirit that you have!

  2. Very interesting....not sure what to make of it.

  3. Arrow Vs Wild Cat!!! I am so stoked to see another fighting style in this show. It looked like a guy fell out of Laurel's car when she swerved it. I think some bad guy gets in her car tries to kidnap/intimidate her as she is investigating the murders at Wild cat's gym. Since she had enough of kidnapping she totals the car and Arrow gets her out of the crash. Cool!!

Poor Roy. Since they are keeping Roy's part under tight rope we can be sure some new revelation about Sara's death will come up.

  4. Not sure how I feel about this. Ted Grant should totally be able to take Oliver in a fight but I don't know if I can reconcile that with the casting.

  5. Is it just me or has anyone noticed that they didn`t release any promo pictures at all for this episode. It looks like the Marketing team screwed up or something. Anyway great promo!

  6. He wasn't showing very good technique for someone who's supposed to teach boxing.

  7. I noticed too, thought it was weird.

  8. Dude he's an actor. Cut him some slack.

  9. I see no reason why I should. This show has stunt coordinators, trainers, and consultants that assist actors with this stuff on a regular basis.

  10. Jesus. Fine whatever.

  11. I'm interested in the fight. In the comics he could kick his butt, but in Arrow not so sure. Can't wait though.

  12. It would be a very interesting fight on Arrow. On one side, Ted doesn't have that age factor that would also grant him more wisdom when it comes to fighting(and with Ted being relatively younger on Arrow, I'd like to know exactly when Ted was actually a vigilante), but on another side, this [Green] Arrow hasn't been trained by Ted at which differs from the comics so Ted, even being younger, could know some stuff even Ollie doesn't. Yes, Ollie is a well-trained fighter, but someone like Ted Grant could still have an advantage since he knows a more grittier style of fighting, being a boxer and all. I mean, in a previous trailer, we see that Ted used brass knuckles when he was a vigilante, so he obviously has a much grittier style than we've been led to see so far.

  13. It can either be a screw up, or on purpose. This episode introduces Cupid which is probably going to be kept a secret until her reveal and this episode also heavily deals with Roy's story line regarding Sara's death and this Arrow/Wildcat confrontation which was never revealed until this trailer.

  14. But like for the Sara episode, they just showed promo pictures of the one Olicity scene to avoid spoilers about Sara's death (since those promo pictures came out before the first episode even premiered) It's easy to release pictures without spoiling the episode and this is the first episode ever that I remember there not being promo pictures. They showed Cupid in the American promo for "Guilty" and in the longer Dangerous Roads promo she was heavily featured. I think it's a screw up lol.

  15. The Dangerous Road promo also carried a lot of stuff regarding Ted Grant and even a bit on Boomerang.

I didn't know about the "Guilty" promo showing Cupid, though. I must've not seen it, but I would honestly say it was on purpose of not releasing any promotional pictures. This wouldn't be the first time they've done this to Arrow, either.

  16. True, but Oliver's not a pushover either he beat Deathstroke a highly trained mercenary, Cyrus Gold a mirakuru soldier (and potentially Grundy), and can compete (particularly in The Magician) with Malcolm Merlyn one of the toughest characters on this show in the league. It'll be fun to watch.

  17. Yeah, look at the lengths they went to to make Amy Acker's cello playing look legitimate on AoS. It's their job to convince the audience.

  18. Then Oliver will probably give her the vigilantism is dangerous talk. Yeah whatever Oliver we know how the story goes. Laurel will probably tell him off and walk away.

  19. Maybe they're going to release it today, they did the same with last week's episode.

  20. Well to be fair to Oliver if he responds in any other way that would be out of character. He did the same song and dance with Roy when he wanted to join the game. Roy repeatedly got into trouble for Oliver to give him perepheral tasks. And if he was not mirakuru'ed Oliver never would have let him join full time. He let Diggle and Felicity in on his journey at extreme circumstances. He was furious with Barry knowing. Sara came with pre established skills. Also I think Oliver can see that Laurel is not thinking clearly and is driving on emotion and anger. It's all becoming very predictable isn't it except for Wild Cat being ex vigilante that I like a lot.

  21. He did that Roy but there is a whole other dimension with Laurel - much more personal. He is also keeping a promise he made to Sara to keep Laurel safe.

  22. Oh, I'm not giving Arrow any slack as a fighter, but only saying that Ted Grant's fighting style could be far different than what Ollie has trained through and fought against. Deathstroke and Merlyn were highly-trained fighters in their own branch of skills and Gold pretty much relied on his strength and seemingly had no fighting experience whatsoever. Ted Grant can bring in something new, which would be nice to see him actually showing off a good set of skills since the people behind Arrow have done a lazy job of actually showing Ted Grant to be a good boxer. I find it baffling that they are so accurate on how someone should shoot a bow and arrow the right way, but not when someone boxes.

  23. I agree. Roy was punk kid who was knee deep in criminal activity before Arrow saved him. Oliver and Laurel has so much history and he will feel that his role as Arrow has also fueled Laurel's need to be a vigilante.

  24. For last weeks episode 4 were released the Thursday before and then the rest were released on Friday

  25. He's been in like three episodes. Two of which he's boxed in. One for about three seconds, the other twenty. I think you should give it time, before you call laziness.

    ReplyDelete
  26. And they got Ollie using a bow and arrow the correct way in the very first episode. How is it any form of excuse just because Ted's been in only a couple of episodes? We've already seen snippets of Ted boxing and the stance isn't even right.

  27. Okay. I don't know man. Not trying to be rude, but honestly I really couldn't give a shit.
