Bet they're so relieved.
ReplyDeleteI occasionally watched it when it came on here in the UK. It was ok.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone care? I'm genuinely curious.
ReplyDeleteHere Comes Another Meltdown By Charlie Sheen.
ReplyDeleteWait it has 100 episodes?! Wow. Good for it.
ReplyDelete10/90 deal is the stupidest thing in TV.
ReplyDeleteI bet even Charlie was expecting this! XD
ReplyDeleteApart from the 5 people who watched it, no.
ReplyDeleteI know 3 people who loved the show.... two co-workers and my mom.
ReplyDeleteNever really my thing I guess, but I did laugh the few times I watched it.
Apparently DarqueMode knew three of them.
ReplyDeleteExactly.
ReplyDeleteNot nearly as bad as many people make it out to be.
Oh well, haters gonna hate.
*Shrug*
Ha! XD
ReplyDeleteWould be funny if I did know 60% of the viewing audience personally...
Scary as well! XD
I watched the odd episode and I don't really care, tbh.
ReplyDeleteCan't say I'm surprised.
ReplyDeleteEspecially with an unstable lead actor.
ReplyDeleteJust now? I mean, I thought it was cancelled a year ago.
ReplyDeleteGreat for the actors I guess, but ya... Just bizarre!
ReplyDeleteWatched the whole first season and I was utterly disappointed; it turned out to be one of the worst- if not the worst- TV shows on the air. Not surprised the ratings free fell as they did.
ReplyDeleteIt was about time it ended; 100 episodes for this show? Hard to believe, but good for the people who enjoyed the show- though they weren't many-, they will have a much longer run than most shows
I never understood it; the ratings declines during the first season were a clear indication of where this was headed. During season 2 the best rated episodes were when FOX decided to air to give it a boost, managing to score only a 0.7- serving as a lead in for The Goodwin Games-. FX should have renewed the show for a standard 10 episodes order, or 22 at best, but 90 was insane and it gave them nothing but ratings pains
ReplyDeleteThey show came with the 10/90, and by the sound of it the "threshold" rating was also set before the show even aired so FX had no option than to order 90 more episodes.
ReplyDeleteI would love other networks to do shows soley for reaching 100 episodes though, it's dumb but for those invested incredibly amazing.
ReplyDeletethey picked it up for a straight 100 episode run
ReplyDeleteFX don't really give a hoot about the ratings. It can now be syndicated which is the whole purpose of these 10/90 deals. It guarantees syndication and makes them a profit.
ReplyDeleteLast year, Roseanne Barr was being approached by NBC with a 10/90 deal for a sitcom which she would star in, but I guess that didn't work out.
ReplyDeleteExpected that. Funny that Charlie predicted doom for Two and a Half Men after he left, but that show will end about six months after his new show
ReplyDeleteIt's not really cancelled since it finished it's 100 episode run.
ReplyDeleteAVClub had a great article about the 10/90 model when Partners premiered. FX has to be thrilled to be rid of the show.
ReplyDeleteand it did 100 episodes so bad at all. Watched some episodes, to be honest didn't find it that different from 2 1/2 men.
ReplyDeleteNever found it at all funny, so good.
ReplyDeleteKinda how I felt about it too.
ReplyDeleteCharlie being Charlie, and if you like him, you like probably will like the show. I actually kinda like Sheen (I loved Spin City, early 2.5 Men, and some of his movies), but not enough to watch on a weekly basis doing the same old shtick..
I heard of the show, I just never got the opportunity to view it. Perhaps because it was on a weird channel, rarely do I view FX shows.
ReplyDeleteGood riddance. Was a huge blemish on FX's incredible line-up
ReplyDeleteHow come you guys didn't approve the report i submitted bout Channing Tantum being confirmed for X-men Gambit standalone film? The new broke out early this week.
ReplyDeleteSorry, what's 10/90?
ReplyDeleteI've watched every episode and enjoyed it from time to time but mostly it was Sheen's supporting cast that I liked better then him. Was it great of course not but it was better then any episode of Beauty and the Beast that I've seen.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't call it canceled rather then just ending. FX was clearly never gonna give it more episodes after the 90 episode second season.

ReplyDeleteWe did post it. It was in one of the Daily Roundups.
ReplyDeleteWait how i miss it lol
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot.
ReplyDeleteGood, they need to stop giving that waste of space Charlie Sheen air time.
ReplyDeletei'm not surprised. I watched it a few times and it was alright but not a great show, wish there was a way for him to go back to two and a half men being that has gone downhill since he left.
ReplyDeleteWe're getting rid of it and 2.5 Men, television is a better place right now.
ReplyDeleteAbout time!
ReplyDeleteActually it was as bad as people says it was it just happened to get better when they played him as an alcoholic drug addict womanizer that's the role he has to play
