    I'm so worried about Coulson and I think my friend's theory that they'll have to lock him up in Vault D is right.

    I'm more convinced that his current status is going to turn the show into a more sci-fi-y show (based on GotGs success that would be a blessing IMO)


    AoS needs to adapt to whatever MCU movie is big at the moment to keep going with the momentum

    Age of Ultron will definitely keep the momentum going (especially since BJ's rumored to be in the movie and said he wasn't allowed to talk about it when asked so that's leaning towards a yes).

    And whatever type of alien Skye is (Inhuman, most likely) will help with turning it into a more sci-fi-y show too.

    only issue is that Age of Ultron will premiere after the season 2 finale. The momentum comes AFTER the movie hype, not before it.


    I had this strategy in mind: have Coulson & Co. deal with Hydra soldiers (remember these big bulky guys from the first Cap. flick?) and some evil scheme after Captain America, end that storyline as a new MCU movie premieres (Guardians of the Galaxy) and transport Skye+Ward+Coulson to the outer rim of the universe and actually go FULL sci-fi on us. That storyline ends as Avengers 2 premieres and leaves the team to deal with Ultrons tech-virus that turns humans into Borg-esque creatures. End that arc with Thor 3 and introduce Asgardian tech and an asgardian foe.


    AoS saved itself last season thanks to the Cap 2 twist, they don't have such a movie this year -,-

    Age of Ultron premieres May 1st and I'm pretty sure the finale is after that so they'll probably be connected (and now it's all connected is repeating on a loop in my head; thanks Marvel).

    they have like 2 or 3 episodes after May 1st.
    I'm really hoping for Marvel to step away from the Alias-esque show and turn AoS into what it should be: a companion show that shares style, tone and storylines with the mother ship.


    How awesome would it be to see Coulson & team travel space, fight Iron Man suits, dark elves and stuff like that? :D

    I wouldn't say that's a cast photo seeing as how it only has Coulson in it. A promotional photo? Sure, but it's definitely not a cast photo.
