ARRRGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! what are you doing SHIELD
ReplyDeleteOh God, I'm so scared. And hey, everyone's in the press release so at least that means there's no ultimate sacrifice.
ReplyDeleteAnd so we're sticking with both Koenigs? Interesting.
Finally Coulson Vs Whitehall. About Skye sounds like she will become a important character for the second half of the season.
ReplyDeleteHoly shit, Coulson and Whitehall are finally going to face off. And hopefully Skye will learn that she is an Inhuman. I'm not emotionally ready for this episode.
ReplyDeleteI'm not emotionally ready for any future episode. They've been emotionally destroying us all season (actually, since Turn, Turn, Turn) and it's too much.
ReplyDeletesince everything is so advanced already i kinda hope they wrap it up with Whitehall and Skyes origin...and give us some new plots in the second half of the season
ReplyDeleteAgreed! And yeah, I still get pretty shaken up everytime I see Turn, Turn, Turn. Such a heart stopping episode.
ReplyDeleteI'm so ready for this.
ReplyDelete'Explosive' confrontation makes me wonder if a Terrigen Mist bomb is going to go off but I don't know seems too early in the MCU for that to happen.
I just can't wait to find out the truth about Skye at last and watch how the fandom explodes and we have to wait until March for more! Though I so ready for Agent Carter.
you guys really think she an Inhuman don't you but she's good not evil
ReplyDeleteThere seems to be a noteworthy casting in this episode. Jamie Harris, who'll be playing 'Man', is the son and brother of Richard Harris and Jared Harris. I wonder who'll the character be...
ReplyDeleteWell, the regulars have to be in the press releases regardless if they die (re: MRJ for Once). So, someone COULD die, though I doubt it.
ReplyDeleteThis synopsis is predictably vague. AOS better deliver on those answers about Skye. They've dragged that stuff out long enough.
ReplyDeleteThis is scaring the shit out of me especially what will we become looks like Skye might get her powers the wait is unbearable!!
ReplyDeleteMakes me sad that there will be no new episodes till after the new year. I will miss this being on each week I feel like this season just started up and its kept such a fast, interesting pace this season compared to last season. I hope they finally reveal Skye's heritage and what she is for good. I'm also willing to be there could be a good chance someone on the good team could die this episode too. They pulled a fast on with Tripp and made it out like someone on the team was going to suffer last week but I think there is very real potential for a death this time around.
ReplyDeleteOne of the Koenigs is dead. Ward had killed him. Remember?
ReplyDeleteI love how they tie in everything. Remember the promo and taglines for every character at the beginning of season 2? Looks like the stakes truly are high for everyone, not just Skye...I'm scared!
ReplyDeleteAha, Sam Koenig... maybe they're finally going to reveal the secret of the Koenigs! They have to be LMD's, right? Which will totally lead to a reveal that Ward only killed Victoria Hand's LMD on that plane and she's very much alive and kicking. I wish.
ReplyDeleteThere's more - for both 2.09 and 2.10, Patton is listed as both Billy and Sam Koenig. Pretty sure they're LMDs.
ReplyDeleteHahaha, that's been my theory since she's died, but someone pointed out that at least Eric Koenig couldn't possibly be an LMD otherwise Simmons would have noticed the robotic parts when she performed the autopsy on him.
ReplyDeleteIn the comics (which are of course far removed from reality), an LMD is indistinguishable from a real person unless you perform a FULL autopsy, which Simmons had neither the time nor the need to do. She was only checking to see the cause of death. So I think even Eric could still be an LMD.
ReplyDeleteA full autopsy huh? Then I'm going back to that theory for the Keonigs and sticking to it for Victoria Hand.
ReplyDeleteWhy would Hand ask Ward to shoot Garrett? I always took her as someone logical, someone who thinks murder is OK or acceptable as long as there's a good enough reason for it. Killing Garrett would have been pointless. Unless she was testing Ward just like she was testing Trip and Simmons. How loyal is Ward to Shield? Loyal enough to shoot his Hydra-mole-former S.O.? But if he was Hydra she'd be unwisely putting a gun in his hand, making it a much more risky move... but as an LMD she could take that risk.
Yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking. It made no sense for Hand to order Garrett's execution, he was an extremely valuable prisoner given his knowledge about Hydra. Giving up such an important asset just to get revenge is stupid. If, however, Hand was giving Ward a loyalty test, it makes more sense... and an LMD could've been her insurance policy. Of course, if true, it reinforces the notion that she's damn cold and callous, since her little scheme got two SHIELD guards killed.
ReplyDeleteTo be fair, she was planning on getting both Fitz and Ward killed in episode 1x08 so it wouldn't be a first for her.
