Even secret Agents have neighbors, and this January Peggy Carter will meet one of hers as Bridget Regan joins the upcoming series on ABC!
Regan ("White Collar," "John Wick," "Jane the Virgin") will move in next door to Peggy as Dottie, a small-town girl from Iowa who’ll have a huge impact on the life of Agent Carter.
"Bridget Regan brings the nuance and complexity of Dottie to life in a way that leaves no doubt as to her importance to Peggy," said Jeph Loeb, Marvel’s Head of Television.
"Marvel's Agent Carter," starring Captain America's Hayley Atwell, follows the story of Peggy Carter. It's 1946, and peace has dealt Peggy Carter a serious blow as she finds herself marginalized when the men return home from fighting abroad. Working for the covert SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve), Peggy must balance doing administrative work and going on secret missions for Howard Stark all while trying to navigate life as a single woman in America, in the wake of losing the love of her life--Steve Rogers. Inspired by the feature films "Captain America: The First Avenger" and "Captain America: The Winter Soldier," along with the short "Marvel One-Shot: Agent Carter."
Starring Hayley Atwell as Agent Peggy Carter, James D'Arcy as Edwin Jarvis, Chad Michael Murray as Agent Jack Thompson, Enver Gjokaj as Agent Daniel Sousa, Lyndsy Fonseca as Angie Martinelli, and Shea Whigham as Chief Roger Dooley, "Marvel's Agent Carter" was written by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely. Executive producers are Tara Butters, Michele Fazekas, Christopher Markus, Stephen McFeely, Chris Dingess, Kevin Feige, Louis D'Esposito, Alan Fine, Joe Quesada, Stan Lee and Jeph Loeb.
"Marvel's Agent Carter" is produced by ABC Studios and Marvel Television.

Glad another woman's been added to the cast and happy for Lyndsy's promotion.
ReplyDeleteEither one of these women alone would have convinced me to watch and they added both.
ReplyDeleteWell it sounds very interesting. I'm only hoping that this character won't be a bad girl.
ReplyDeleteYay more female characters, that is what I like. I desperately need this show.
ReplyDeleteThis is great news! I absolutely adore Bridget!
ReplyDeleteLove Bridget Regan - so hot in Legend of the Seeker. Great addition...although I would prefer to see her kicking butt!
ReplyDeletei looove Bridget!! God, this show is going to be my favorite of my favorites! i can feel it!
ReplyDeleteLike the cast will check out the show. I hope it won't have to many SHIELD connections.
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna really love this show! Great addition!
ReplyDeletelove the news, I love both Bridget and Lyndsy and of course Hayley so this sounds to be shaping up really nicely
ReplyDeleteWell hell, ABC is not playing around with AC. I think I'm going to love this show.
ReplyDeleteThis is the most promising cast I’ve seen in a while.
ReplyDeleteI have loved Lyndsy since she was on The Young and The Restless. So glad she has been upgraded!
ReplyDeleteLoved Bridget in Legend of the Seeker and love her in Jane the Virgin. So I'm sure she'll do a great job on Agent Carter as well. :)
ReplyDeleteThis cast keeps getting better and better (not to mention more badass!).
thought lyndsy was already a regular but awesome that she was upped to regular she's an amazing actress although it's going to be weird not seeing her kick butt and glad bridget regan is on the show after seeing her as rebecca on white collar (and still as rebecca since she's back this season too) it's going to be great to see her back as a good person like when she was on legend of the seeker as kahlan
ReplyDeleteAs if I needed another reason to watch this. Stop twisting my arm, Marvel! I'll watch it. I promise.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure either Dottie or Angie will turn out to be HYDRA or something else bad; and I hope it's good.
ReplyDeleteYes, exactly! I was just thinking how much I miss seeing these two onscreen (though I now also see Bridget on JTV, but still).
ReplyDeleteBridget and Lyndsy one the same show? Oh my..
ReplyDeleteIt's really amusing...while I was watching White Collar I kept thinking "They really should give her a role in the MCU". It's as if someone read my mind.
ReplyDeleteLoved her as Rebecca in White Collar. She has quite a range.
ReplyDeleteno HYDRA here since it's the SSR and not SHIELD yet and HYDRA only infiltrated SHIELD, rsconfirmed by creato
ReplyDeleteDid they say there would be no HYDRA at all, or just no infiltration? Because what I was getting at it was that Carter could be of interest to HYDRA, even before she became director of SHIELD
