The Goldbergs - Episode 2.08 - I Rode a Hoverboard

ADAM’S FRIENDSHIP WITH EMMY IS THREATENED, WHILE BEVERLY MAKES AN EFFORT TO GET HER FAMILY TO EAT AT HOME AGAIN, ON ABC’S “THE GOLDBERGS”

“I Rode a Hoverboard” – Adam breaks his arm and exaggerates at school that he fell off of a hover board just like in the “Back to the Future” movie. But the lie threatens his friendship with Emmy Mirsky. Meanwhile, the family falls in love with the new Chinese restaurant in town and Beverly fears she’s being replaced in the kitchen, on “The Goldbergs,” WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 3 (8:30-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

“The Goldbergs” stars Wendi McLendon-Covey (“Bridesmaids”) as Beverly Goldberg, Patton Oswalt (“Ratatouille”) as adult Adam Goldberg, Sean Giambrone as Adam Goldberg, Troy Gentile (“Good Luck Chuck”) as Barry Goldberg, Hayley Orrantia (“The X Factor”) as Erica Goldberg, with George Segal (“Just Shoot Me”) as Pops Solomon and Jeff Garlin (“Curb Your Enthusiasm”) as Murray Goldberg.

Cristela - Episode 1.08 - Floor Favor

WHEN TRENT HIRES FELIX & ALBERTO FOR A FLOORING JOB, THEY TREAT CRISTELA LIKE THEIR PUT-UPON LITTLE SISTER, SO SHE WANTS TO FIND A WAY TO GET RID OF THEM, ON ABC’S “CRISTELA”

“Floor Favor” – Trent wants the floor of his office redone and assumes Cristela knows someone in the flooring business, so she puts Felix & Alberto on the job. Even though the guys do a great job and bond with Trent, they treat Cristela like their put-upon little sister…like they do at home, so Cristela wants to find a way to get rid of them…fast. Meanwhile, Daniela teaches Natalia how to use the internet, on “Cristela,” FRIDAY, DECEMBER 5 (8:31-9:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

Editor’s note: This episode replaces the episode “Great Expectations.”

“Cristela” stars Cristela Alonzo as Cristela, Carlos Ponce as Felix, Maria Canals-Barrera as Daniela, Terri Hoyos as Natalia, Andrew Leeds as Josh, Sam McMurray as Trent, Justine Lupe as Maddie, Jacob Guenther as Henry, and Isabella Day as Isabella. Forever - Episode 1.11 - Skinny Dipper

"Skinny Dipper" -- When a taxi cab driver is killed with an antique sword, it is just the start of the tangled web the anonymous caller weaves to draw Henry under his influence. But what is "Adam" really after? After a second victim is murdered, "Adam" attempts to frame Henry for the crime. Can Henry trust Jo to tell her the truth? Or is it time for Henry and Abe to leave town? Just as they get ready to flee, Henry attempts to exact revenge on "Adam," which culminates in the shocking revelation about the true identity of Henry's secret stalker, on "Forever," TUESDAY, DECEMBER 9 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

The Middle - Episode 6.09 - The Christmas Wall

"The Christmas Wall" - Frankie has had enough of schlepping out the Christmas decorations and trying to make the perfect holiday for her family -- who she feels doesn't appreciate all that she does for them -- and decides to kick back on the couch and have a minimalist Christmas this year. Meanwhile, due to Sue's allergy to real Christmas trees, Mike attempts to purchase an artificial one and ends up not getting what he paid for. Axl puts Boss Co. back into business for the holidays as Tree Wise Men but gets into such a heated argument with Sean over a misfit toy that the two can't seem to work together, and Brick becomes fascinated by a Christmas letter the family has received and attempts to write one on his own outlining the past year of the Hecks, on "The Middle," WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 10 (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

"The Middle" stars Patricia Heaton as Frankie, Neil Flynn as Mike, Charlie McDermott as Axl, Eden Sher as Sue and Atticus Shaffer as Brick.

Guest starring are John Gammon as Darrin, Beau Wirick as Sean Donahue, Jen Ray as Nancy Donahue and Ely Henry as clerk.

"The Christmas Wall" was written by Roy Brown and directed by Lee Shallat Chemel.

"The Most Handsome Boy on the Planet" -- When Barry is approached by a modeling representative in the mall, Barry is convinced he'll be famous but Erica believes it's a scam so Beverly threatens the modeling rep to give him a gig or else. Later, Adam runs into his Pop Pop, Murray's grumpy dad, and thinks he can help mend the fences between estranged father and son, on "The Goldbergs," WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 10 (8:30-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

Meanwhile, Bow is tired of competing with Ruby over who cooks the big Christmas Eve dinner, on "black-ish," WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 10 (9:31-10:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. Jenifer Lewis guest stars as Ruby.

  8. did they just reveal Adam's identity or is the caller and actor two different people and i'm still holding on to the theory that Adam is Jo's husband and OH MY GOD!!! the creator of Chuck and a writer for Chuck wrote the episode i love that this show has so much of Chuck's writing staff and probably the crew too
