  2. How so? Ratings are pretty much the same as Helix, and I guess it's cheaper coming from The Asylum.

  4. My fault! I did not relish the idea of becoming a Zombie Cancellation Bear. Maybe a Vampire Bear, the cool ones not the sparkly ones, or a Dovahbear. But a Zombie Bear? Oh no.

  5. Cool with me. I think it's fun. Not everything has to be so serious and all doom and gloom. It's nice to have a cheesy show to view on a slow night.

  6. Yet another way to defeat you !

  7. There are only two ways to defeat me.
    1) Be a zombie show.
    2) Never air at all.

    I always catch up eventually.

  9. Fine by me. Sunday nights we get caviar over at camp TWD. Then Fridays are like cheesy taco night at the FU-Bar with Z Nation. I mean its 18-49yo demos are even with Dominion and Defiance (both renewed), and it actually scored higher viewership than Helix (renewed). Plus it's obviously willing to dust ANYBODY at the drop of a hat, and it racks up some pretty creative zombie kills. So to each his own ... but I say give 'em a little more time to figure it out.

Going off the ratings I'm not surprised, I couldn't get through the first episode though. I'm a little surprised they renewed it this early too.

  11. Who is this source? I'm sure it will officially be announced soon, but I don't see this source as being anyone even remotely credible.

  12. I'm at the Syfy Press Tour (check out my twitter for photos with the cast and other shows on Syfy) where they announced it when the Z Nation panel came on.

  16. I didn't expect it to be renewed. So many people keep hating on this show. I think it's gotten much better and I am looking forward to seeing where it goes.

  17. Zombies Rule !!!...i bet the writers are mad they killed off 2 leading actors already, thinking the series wasnt going to last into season 2, lol...☺...

  18. That was a no brainer. It's the best zombie series on television.

  19. Do you know how many episodes season 1 will have ?

  20. Looking at past few years there's bigger chance that bad show get's renewed than good show get's cancelled. At least for me, I don't know what shows you watch and like.

  21. I agre e with you. Compared to some of the horrible programming they air on syfy, this show with its slapstick post apocalyptic humor restores a little of my faith in the channel. I will be honest, I had a hard time getting past the pilot episode. But when season 1 came to Netflix I said WTH and by the fourth episode it had grown on me.
