Out of that list, Ichabod/Abbie. Otherwise...well, there's always either Jeff/Britta or Jeff/Annie on "Community". And there's a few pairings I like from "Criminal Minds" (Reid/JJ, Morgan/Garcia or Morgan/Emily)...but the chances of those ever actually happening seem pretty darn slim to nonexistent, so...:p.
Yeah, she's the reason Robin and Regina are categorised as "will they/won't they," And agreed, Emma and Regina would be awesome, but I lost hope for that couple long time ago :(
None: I hate that dynamic. Why are shows so afraid of having couples? Is it that hard to write a likeable couple? Or do they think audience would leave because there is no tension between characters? If so, they should create tension out of other situations. If there is romance, let it be a normal one, but don't stretch it out until it becomes stale
Felicity and Oliver my favourite but don't mind the others to....loving the father daughter type relationships this year with red & liz and Skye & coulson even if they are or are not the real dads....very sweet though:)
I can´t see them as a couple - because when I look at them all that comes to my mind is: "she´s married to his brother and his nephew´s mother", so...ugh, just no!:)
Linstead. I was hoping the romance would heat up between them now that Severide's out of the picture, but we haven't seen a decent Linstead scene since 2.03
For me it's Oliver and Felicity... I like them. For a dark show is nice to have the main couple be more light, funny and without baggage(weird for the CW).
Jeff and Annie for Community were a close second and Harvey and Donna are there at the top of the mountain.
Also, Robin and Regina... I love them, especially her sift when with him but the truth is they already were on a relationship if i'm not mistaken(while short, they already were...i think...).
Please not Ichabod and Abbie on Sleepy Hollow, that's one of the best and fun friendships on TV nowadays and surely the only one between man and woman leads without any ambiguity for me. If I have to choose from this list : Enzo and Caroline, Oliver and Felicity. Other: Emily and Jack on Revenge.
Well, and Ichabod is married, and he is the type of man who would feel that he is bound to her forever, for better or worse. They had that mindset in his time.
NCIS had a lot of those will they/won´t they couples the past years - one think back at Jenny and Gibbs, Tony and Ziva or Abby and McGee... My favorite couples that did are Caskett on Castle, and Jisbon on The Mentalist, as well as Rigsby and VanPelt. Oh, and there´s of course the very famous will they/won´t they Rizzoli & Isles couple, better known as Rizzles ;-)
Yep,i know but people tend to forget that fact and just see how Ichabod & Abbie get along. To tell you the truth i also got tired of reminding people he was married.By now everyone should be well aware of that fact.
I guess people just put together anyone who has good chemistry with another actor on the show... You're right.
Just as Robin Hood is married to his Maid Marian in the OUaT version of the story. I personally would like to see Regina eventually find her "prince charming" too, but one who is not already married.
I would like to see that one too...Jack has cleaned up very nicely over the course of the show, not so much a scruffy-looking dude now. And he and Emily have a nice chemistry, always have had, IMO.
IRK?? The writers did this with Casey and Dawson (Chicago Fire) the first season and part of the second season too. I remember being really frustrated and almost giving up. I need a little romance in my shows to keep my attention. It doesn't have to be much but SOMETHING!! lol
Yeah Emma and Regina really do have amazing chemistry :) Watching them reminds me of watching The X Files and rooting for Mulder and Scully to get together in the end. And The X Files producers swore up and down they would NEVER put Mulder and Scully together, but look what happened with that! Lol luckily things always change in TV shows so there's always hope for something amazing to happen later :) Can't wait for season 5 and 6 of OUAT!
That would have been my choice two years ago. Unfortunately when the show runner and his cast do everything in their power to sink a ship I as a fan say god bless, grab a lifesaver, and jump overboard, watching the ship sink and possibly take the whole show with it.

Sooo glad there was 3 options!! As i saw the topic for the poll, 3 of my ships automatically jumped in my head, and i said, "oh god please let there be three options, b/c i can't choose one." And four of my ships are on there. However, Haylijah has already kissed twice, and i knew they would have a rough patch this season, so i did not vote for them. I know it'll happen for them again some time this season.
My votes...Number 1 Olicity- duh.
Number 2- Steroline. Seriously waiting for tonight when Caroline realizes Stefan stayed in town, i'd like to see her reaction.
Number 3- Ichabbie!! I loveee their relationship, i love them as friends, but yes i do ship them romantically, but i don't want anything to happen between them until Katrina is out of the picture. Not that anything would happen between them while she's in the picture now, but Ichabbie can't have a relationship with Katrina in the way needing to be saved every 5 minutes. I'll wait til she's travelled far far away, or dead and buried for good, then i can celebrate, Ichabbie's romantic chance. lol

Lol...Robin & Regina? I don't get why people like them. I'm more of a fan of the classic Robin/Marian story. I voted Stefan/Caroline. I definitely can see those 2 happening.
people are entitled to like whatever they want, You like Robin/Marian that's fine but there's no need to laugh at people just because they are invested in something you don't approve of. OUAT is notorious for putting a twist on some of the other classic tales. People can like whatever they want, no need to be disrespectful about it.

Oh my dear cyber twin lol I was going to write DUH!!!! but I felt like I was yelling at someone, problem is I don't who and what did they do to deserve that hahahahaha I do watch SH remember you're the one who convinced me to continue watching (although I still haven't watched the last 2 episodes yet) but I like them as friends and partners more, mainly because he is still technically "married" and is in love with his wife, I also like his kind of friendship with Jenny, I thought it was cute when she hugged him in the premiere before he went to rescue Abbie.
Robin/Regina are the only ones on that list I really want together. Also interested in Fitz/Simmons and Elijah/Hayley but if those don't work out whatever.

Ha! that's funny. To me it doesn't matter, i talk to anyone. I talk to the site and express w/e i'm feeling after an episode has aired, some will agree some won't. They either reply or ignore, same as me. (i have a mental list of some people i avoid on here as i'm sure they do me). But what i've realized most throughout this site, is that i write with a lot of emotion. So if i type out a word in CAPS, it doesn't always mean i'm yelling, (mostly i'm not). And the regulars on this site will understand my caps. Sooo basically, don't be afraid to type in caps, if someone doesn't get the way you type, i'm sure all they'll do is ask. Not be offended b/c you're yelling. This is a site, that's what it's for. lol you're okay. = )
And i didn't know you were continuing. I suggest you don't read my last two comments on those last sleepy hollow episodes then. lol...I think you should watch those last two.
I ship almost none of these so I went with Robin/Regina.
I like Arrow, but just not into Olicity at all. I like them as friends/partners but not romantically (same with Abbie & Ichabod on Sleepy Hollow). I don't ship anyone on SHIELD (I don't care at all about Skyeward, but I do like the Fitzsimmons friendship). With TVD/TO - I don't think I've ever hated a fictional non-couple as much as I hate Hayliah. I don't like the Steroline romance at all, and I'm really over Caroline revolving around her male love interests so I'm not all that into Carenzo either.
I know they are married now. I just didn´t realize it only counts for couples who are currently on the will they/won´t they. For me they will always be the ultimate will they/won´t they couple ´cause I rooted for them for such a long time.
They do have men and women that are just best friends. Matt and Elena, for example. Elena is also good friends with Tyler. Bonnie and Damon are friends. So this is not something rare on TVD.
The creators have said from the beginning that there is a will they won't they element to their relationship. It's platonic but I think they are developing them for romance eventually. And Katrina is both dull and suspicious simultaneously.
People don't forget anything. Most people think, with good reason, Katrina is suspicious and not trustworthy. Time will tell. Relationships end. He doesn't have to stick with her no matter what is revealed. And I can guarantee that if Abbie and Ichabod were to get together it would be after his relationship with Katrina was done.
That's great, but you could be the bigger person and scroll past a person's post you know, instead of shitting on them for liking a ship that isn't canon. Just saying.
I do love Robin and Regina, but Oliver and Felicity will forever been my OTP. They are adorable and the waiting will be totally worth it when they are finally happy together. Of course Robin and Regina better find their way back to each other...I actually stopped watching OUAT because I was sick of seeing things fall apart for Regina.
I don't know, it's canon that he was so in love with his wife he wanted to kill himself when she died and he risked his life to save hers and unborn Roland, so we shall see what they have in store.
Regina and Robin fell in love with one another and were an actual couple before Marian appeared in the picture again after Robin Hood had mourned her and eventually moved on from her in the past because she was very much dead. Now she's suddenly back among the living thanks to time travel and neither Robin Hood nor Regina can just flip a switch and unfall in love and pretend their relationship and their feelings for one another never happened. Now she's literally frozen, but if they find a way to save Marian and Robin is honest with her about what he realized in episode 3 about his feelings for Regina then I see no problem with the show allowing Robin and Marian to seperate so both can find happiness with someone else.
But I do think that's very different from the Sleepy Hollow situation.
I'm not sure what you're arguing. No one's going to fight on you Robin and Marian having been very much in love in the past. But Marian died, Robin mourned and eventually moved on and allowed himself to live and love again. Now only time will tell if he can go back to what once was with Marian or if his present feelings for Regina are too strong. You can love more than one person in your life. It would be sad if that wasn't the case.
Matt and Elena dated and said they were each others firsts though. Damon and bonnie had a fling going in the books from what I hear and I think Elena tolerates Tyler. Lol wouldn't call them best friends though. I know I tolerate him only bc he looks good without a shirt. Lol
I hear you. I kinda feel that way about them too. They are the best ever will they/won't they couple, IMO. And I was so happy when they did get together--still am! ;o)
You are right, I totally forgot about that one. That was really nice. I was expecting a bit more in the next episodes but .... patience is a virtue. Slow burn is ok, but one per episode would be nice.

ReplyDeleteHa! that's funny. To me it doesn't matter, i talk to anyone. I talk to the site and express w/e i'm feeling after an episode has aired, some will agree some won't. They either reply or ignore, same as me. (i have a mental list of some people i avoid on here as i'm sure they do me). But what i've realized most throughout this site, is that i write with a lot of emotion. So if i type out a word in CAPS, it doesn't always mean i'm yelling, (mostly i'm not). And the regulars on this site will understand my caps. Sooo basically, don't be afraid to type in caps, if someone doesn't get the way you type, i'm sure all they'll do is ask. Not be offended b/c you're yelling. This is a site, that's what it's for. lol you're okay. = )

I ship almost none of these so I went with Robin/Regina.
ReplyDeleteI like Arrow, but just not into Olicity at all. I like them as friends/partners but not romantically (same with Abbie & Ichabod on Sleepy Hollow). I don't ship anyone on SHIELD (I don't care at all about Skyeward, but I do like the Fitzsimmons friendship). With TVD/TO - I don't think I've ever hated a fictional non-couple as much as I hate Hayliah. I don't like the Steroline romance at all, and I'm really over Caroline revolving around her male love interests so I'm not all that into Carenzo either.

ReplyDeleteThey do have men and women that are just best friends. Matt and Elena, for example. Elena is also good friends with Tyler. Bonnie and Damon are friends. So this is not something rare on TVD.
ReplyDeleteThe creators have said from the beginning that there is a will they won't they element to their relationship. It's platonic but I think they are developing them for romance eventually. And Katrina is both dull and suspicious simultaneously.

He doesn't have to stick with her no matter what is revealed. And I can guarantee that if Abbie and Ichabod were to get together it would be after his relationship with Katrina was done.

ReplyDeleteI do love Robin and Regina, but Oliver and Felicity will forever been my OTP. They are adorable and the waiting will be totally worth it when they are finally happy together. Of course Robin and Regina better find their way back to each other...I actually stopped watching OUAT because I was sick of seeing things fall apart for Regina.

ReplyDeleteRegina and Robin fell in love with one another and were an actual couple before Marian appeared in the picture again after Robin Hood had mourned her and eventually moved on from her in the past because she was very much dead. Now she's suddenly back among the living thanks to time travel and neither Robin Hood nor Regina can just flip a switch and unfall in love and pretend their relationship and their feelings for one another never happened. Now she's literally frozen, but if they find a way to save Marian and Robin is honest with her about what he realized in episode 3 about his feelings for Regina then I see no problem with the show allowing Robin and Marian to seperate so both can find happiness with someone else.
But I do think that's very different from the Sleepy Hollow situation.
I'm not sure what you're arguing. No one's going to fight on you Robin and Marian having been very much in love in the past. But Marian died, Robin mourned and eventually moved on and allowed himself to live and love again. Now only time will tell if he can go back to what once was with Marian or if his present feelings for Regina are too strong. You can love more than one person in your life. It would be sad if that wasn't the case.
