  1. Carla Buono's character (lots of alias's) in Person of Interest is really exciting. But I'm most looking forward to seeing Kitty Winter in Elementary (it hasn't premiered yet but I've seen it and previewed it). That character is going to be a lot of fun to watch

  2. I've voted for for Elsa (OUAT) and Hunter (Shield). Also, while technically not new characters, the additions of the the original family on The Originals is doing wonders for the show IMO.

  3. From this list: Elsa and Anna - Once Upon a Time

Off this list: Kristoff - Once Upon a Time and Nick Hawley - Sleepy Hollow

    From the list:
Elsa - Once Upon a Time
Lance Hunter - Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Off the list: The Snow Queen - Once Upon a Time (This one is definitely my fav!)

  5. Elsa & Anna
    Ben from "Revenge"

    They look promiscuous... :)

    ReplyDelete
  6. Snow Queen in OUAT and Hunter in Agents of shield.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Off this list: The Snow Queen - Once Upon a Time

  8. I prefer Mack over Lance in AOS, not like I hate Lance or anything but Mack's friendship with Fitz has endeared him to me.

Also Wuntch from Brooklyn Nine Nine and Hawley from Sleepy Hollow.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Really surprised the Snow Queen isn't on this list - I voted Elsa - OUAT I think she'll be very interesting.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Lance and Mack on SHIELD and Elsa on OUAT.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Dr Pierce... I'm loving this character... Do I still miss Yang... Yes, but this character is helping fill the void

    ReplyDelete
  12. Heh, I'm in an extreme minority with my vote for Reyes on "Sleepy Hollow". I like her prickliness, and the fact that we're still not sure which side she's on yet. I like to think (and hope) she'll wind up being on the side of the Witnesses. But if she does happen to be one of Moloch's many minions...that has some fun potential, too.

  13. Ana, Elsa and The Snow Queen on OUAT.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I also enjoy Mack for the same reason.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Anna - Once upon a time and Elizabeth - Scandal

    ReplyDelete
  16. Snow Queen - Once Upon A Time

    ReplyDelete
  17. Of these, Navabi on The Blacklist and Hunter on SHIELD, but really it is Margaret on the Returned and then Hawley on Sleepy Hollow.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I am loving Hawley as well. He always makes me laugh.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I prefer Mac as well. He has a patient, easy going manner that I think the other SHIELD agents need around them. He seems like he's going to be the calm in the storm. Well if he doesn't turn out to be evil of course. Let's hope he isn't.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I am actually fine whichever side she ends up on. I just hope she finds out about the supernatural quickly or if she's evil, that Abbie and Ichabod find out her intentions quickly. It's nto so much the character I don't like as the fact that I feel we already did this storyline in season one with Irving.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Hunter - AoS, Kate- Criminal Minds, Hawley- Sleepy Hollow, and Navabi- The Blacklist.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Only elsa and anna for me.Rest of the options is just meh IMO!

    ReplyDelete
  23. The Snow Queen on OUAT, hands down. Andersen's tales have always been my favourites, and I particularly love The Snow Queen, so - fingers crossed they make good use of the source text.
I'm also really glad that Elizabeth Mitchell's playing the character, she's excellent in roles where she appears quiet & sweet, up until the moment you see the axe behind her back, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Jennifer Love Hewitt on Criminal Minds! She fits in seamlessly.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Hawley makes me laugh as well, and I also find Ichabod's annoyance with him amusing. : )

    ReplyDelete
  26. LOL at people voting for Sheriff Reyes.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Lance Hunter on AoS is a really cool character so far: sexy, charming and witty. He's a fine example of how to properly write the "bad boy" character TV shows like so much: he's cocky/arrogant, charismatic and somewhat of a troublemaker, but without being a murderer, rapist, misogynist or asshole.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I had forgotten about Margaret. She is one of my favorite things about Resurrection, really agree.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Hawley and Sheriff Reyes - both on Sleepy Hollow, and Samar Navabi (the Mossad agent) on The Blacklist.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Why? This is not about who's the most likeable new character. I happen to really like the actress, so yes, I'm glad to see her on the show.

    ReplyDelete
  31. No need to get defensive. If you like the actress, I guess it's reasonable for you to like what she's doing. But come on man, if you just don't know her, and this is her first character, your normal mental faculty must have gotta find her annoying as f*ck.

    ReplyDelete
  32. No, wrong, because this is Sleepy Hollow, where people rarely are what they appear to be at first blush. So she is interesting and intriguing because we wonder if she knows what's really going on in SH, and what side she's on if she does.

And while I'm here, let me add my "other" vote for Nick Hawley. Shocked he's not on the list.

  33. Elsa on OUAT

  34. Anna and Elsa along with Kristoff.

    Margaret Langston (Resurrection)

    ReplyDelete
  36. Anna and Elsa. And Kristoff too.

    ReplyDelete
  37. First Maggie on Grey's Anatomy, Lizzie Bear on Scandal(Elizabeth) and other Trubel on Grimm!

    ReplyDelete
  38. Hmm. The only character I feel strongly about is Reyes on Sleepy Hollow. Not a good feeling. :-D

    ReplyDelete
  39. I would be so upset if he was evil! But yeah he is calm and kind which is just lovely in my book

    ReplyDelete
  40. Mack and Lance on MAOS and Navabi on The Blacklist.

    ReplyDelete
  41. For me it is an easy answer, it's Samar Navabi (Mossad agent) - The Blacklist. She's a breath of fresh air imo

    ReplyDelete
  42. Hawley on Sleepy Hollow! Don't care about the sheriff, but I love Hawley's dynamic with ok' "Pride and Prejudice" so far!

    ReplyDelete
  43. I'm not entirely sure if he is a new character but I picked Carl from Resurrection. The subplot of him and his sadistic brother was one of the best things this show has done so far.
Hawley from Sleepy Hollow - I'd totally watch a webseries about him and Ichabod bantering and arguing about random stuff.
Maggie from GA - I ended up liking her more than I thought I would. I hope she gets to stick around gor a while.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I think this poll is implying new characters to this season, Trubel was introduced last season so she's not new.

    ReplyDelete
  45. "Hawley from Sleepy Hollow - I'd totally watch a webseries about him and Ichabod bantering and arguing about random stuff." --So would I. : )

    ReplyDelete
  46. I don't know if I'll see him again, but Ryan "Thatweirdlastname" from New Girl is extremely charming and cute... And his last name is very funny and creative LOL

    ReplyDelete
  47. He's really nice to look at, isn't he? He is set to recur, so we'll be seeing more of Ryan "GoesInYou" (I have no idea how to actually spell his last name, lol).

    ReplyDelete
  48. He most definitely is! Great to know he's coming back ;)

    ReplyDelete
  49. Once Upon a Time's Elsa and Anna; and SHIELD's Lance Hunter.

    ReplyDelete
  50. I think he makes a nice foil for Ichabod. I am looking forward to his eventual redemption arc though. I think he's going to end up a great ally to them.

    ReplyDelete
  51. I'd like to not keep meeting new characters, get to like them, and then have them be evil. Here's hopiung that's a season 1 thing and we're past it now.

    ReplyDelete
  52. I love ow she has deepened the mystery and I suspect she knows a lot more than she's telling. Plus she's a great actress who makes every scene she's in. Phenomenal casting.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Trubel won my best new character last year. She was definitely what Grimm needed to revive itself.

    ReplyDelete
  54. No, wrong, I'm not talking about what she's going to become. I'm talking about how she is now. And now, she is annoying. I was annoyed by Irving too because he was being difficult but now I like him as he is one of the cooperative side for Abbie and Ichabod. So, Reyes, she is annoying now and she's being even more difficult than Irving was.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Elsa , the snow queen, Kristoff - once upon a time
    Ray Palmer - arrow
    Nick Hawley - Sleepy Hollow

    ReplyDelete
  56. No, she is not annoying. She's a tough cop who's doing her job. And I find it a lot more realistic that she (as Irving before her) does not buy into the whole supernatural thing right away. Not that I'm watching the show for its realism, mind you. Anyway, how boring would it be if the whole police department would assist in the hunt for demons? The fact that the witnesses are facing Moloch pretty much alone adds so much spice to the story.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Fine, she's not annoying to you. Whatever. But she's annoying to me. Don't tell me what to feel. She is annoying. There's a million ways not to recycle the Irving storyline. She could have been attacked by one of Moloch's minions that she becomes a believer right away, or she could have been a part of the witnesses and become the chief at the same time and etc etc etc etc etc etc. My point is, why recycle the I'm-not-a-believer-until-I-see-it storyline when it's dine?

    ReplyDelete
  58. "your normal mental faculty must have gotta find her annoying as f*ck." That's what you wrote above. You're the one telling us how to feel, buddy.

And I find is amusing that you automatically assume they are recycling the Irving character arc. You're watching Sleepy Hollow, you know. I suspect you are going to be very very wrong about that. And that's why I happen to like this character. It's the fact that we DON'T know what she knows, and we DON'T know what side she's on, that makes her interesting, and it's why I like the character a great deal, even if she is not making things easy for our heroes at the moment.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Fine. I'm sorry for that. But you're still wrong. They are recycling Irving's storyline. At least in the face value. What do we know so far? Irving and Reyes are both Captain. Irving and Reyes both start as non-believers (and Irving transitioned after that). Irving and Reyes are both difficult and skeptical. Irving and Reyes are both posing challenges for Abbie and Ichabod to investigate Moloch (Irving forbade Abbie from working with Ichabod and Reyes locking up Jenny) . The only difference as in now is Reyes has something to do with Abbie's mother. When this character proves to be different in the future, then I'll maybe change my feelings for her. But for now, she seems an annoying non-necessity.

    ReplyDelete
  60. The "only" difference is she has something to do with Abbie's mother? That difference is huge! It's everything! It's how we KNOW she's more than she appears to be!

    ReplyDelete
  61. Yep, I kinda knew that she just
Left an impression on me I guess, with her name redacted I'll go with Jennifer Love Hewett:)

    ReplyDelete
  62. I totatlly agree, I'm anxiously
Waiting for Grimm to return and for
Gods sake I hope they bring Wu into the loop:)

    ReplyDelete
  63. 100% agreed. I about dropped Grimm over that Wu nonsense and then Trubel appeared and saved the show.
