  1. I reckon Scorpion is in contention.

  2. Renewed for S2? I think FOX will renew Gotham first like they did with Sleepy Hollow last year.
As for a back 9 order, i think it would be HTGAWM but i think it's also a limited series? Then i say Scorpion

  3. Murder is limited indeed.

  4. ABC doesn't do renewals until May. CBS usually announces a whole bunch of them in March. CW does a few in February and some in May. NBC as well in March/April and May. Fox is also in February and May I believe.

Last year, The Blacklist and Sleepy Hollow were the first ones. NBC doesn't have a new Blacklist type of hit, but Fox comes close witg Gotham. So I say Gotham is the first one.

  5. Voted "The Flash", if they can keep up some of the momentum of the pilot and the viewers give it a go.

  6. Probably either The Flash or Gotham based on past history.

    Provided it holds true:
The CW does it's first renewals in February.
    CBS and NBC in March
Fox does some in October with more in March
    ABC in May

Depends on whether FOX decides to do October renewals or not.

  7. CBS has a habit of announcing the first renewals in March, renewing like 15-18 shows at once. I reckon Scorpion will be among them, as will NCIS New Orleans and possibly Stalker.

  8. Will get renew first
How to Get Away With Murder
    Gotham
    The Flash
    Runner up
    NCIS: New Orleans
    Red Band Society
    Surprise
Madam Secretary I like the show but it's on Sunday
    Have to see about
    Constantine
    A to Z

  9. HTGAWM, I won't be surprised if ABC will announce its renewal even next week..
Next will be Gotham. Fox have to safe face somehow and we know how the rest of their weekly schedule sans Sunday rates.
The Flash will be renewed only around February-March.

  10. Yeah but CW always does it's Valentine renewal of 4-6 shows. So The Flash could get an early renewal maybe.

But HTGAWM, Scorpion and Gotham are currently the front runners.

  11. If we're talking about renewal rather than being picked up for a full season, I'm guessing a show that's already had a full season order, like Gotham. The Flash and HTGAWM are shows that will see a Season 2, barring some kind of shocking unforeseen disaster, but first they have to be picked up for a full season. The Flash, along with SPN, Arrow, TVD (unless these are SPN and TVD's last seasons which I highly doubt) and any other CW show that does well, will probably be renewed around February, while ABC will wait until the last week of the season before it renews anything, including HTGAWM - even if its ratings are mind-blowing.

Based on its premiere numbers and having its strong parent show as a lead-in, NCIS: NO also looks like a keeper but I haven't been keeping track of how early CBS tends to renew stuff. I doubt Madam Secretary and Constantine will see a second season (if I'm wrong, good for them).

  12. It's usually the 30 minute comedies that first first renewals, so of that list if A to Z does well I think that'll be first to be renewed.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Gotham. ABC don't do early renewals.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I believe HTGAWM also has a full season order of about 15-16 episodes.

    ReplyDelete
  15. I can say this easily: Gotham / The Flash / How To Get Away With Murder. I don't know the order but these 3 shows and I can add Scorpion will be renewed soon.

  16. Gotham.

For the last three years, ABC has renewed everything just at the upfronts while FOX tends to give teir renewals earlier, especially if it is a limited season like it happened with Sleepy Hollow last year. So while I think Murder is the likeliest to be renewed (well, maybe not beyond The Flash but still), I think Gotham will be the first one to get it.

In terms of the first full season ordered, my money is on Scorpion, maybe at the same time as New Orleans and Stalker.

  17. No ABC show, that's for sure.
My money is on Gotham; Sleepy Hollow was the quickest broadcast network renewal I have ever seen, and Gotham's number are not far from what Sleepy Hollow did, so if next week its numbers holds I expect to see a renewal, if not, a few weeks after.

  18. My one official vote goes to, How to get away with murder, and of course unofficial vote I'm giving it to Gotham!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Gotham. If not Gotham it will be How to get away with Murder.

    ReplyDelete
  20. You know, how to Get Away with murder is on ABC, just saying:)

    ReplyDelete
  21. ABC never renews shows early, no matter how well they rate. If they did, last season they would have renewed Modern Family and Scandal by October

    ReplyDelete
  22. Ok I understand now, my bad I wasn't aware that's how they do it, I believe it's a hit for them, Thanks for enlighten me:)

  23. Frozen Oncers(was TeenWolfers)October 1, 2014 at 1:41 PM

It's not going to be an ABC show, they always renew their shows last.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Davis told EW that it'll have 15 episodes a season so the cast can work on other projects during the hiatus.

    ReplyDelete
  25. The Flash, Gotham and How to Get Away with Murder.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I agree for the same reasons. The CW usually does their renewals first.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Forgot about that completely. Oops.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Gotham,Flash,Murder( I know abc dosent usually do early renewals but I think they might in this case),NCIS:NO.The flash will probably be renewed in Feb like CWs others renewals but there's a chance it could come earlier and it will be the last renewed of my mentioned shows since it started latest and NCIS:NO will be renewed in March with CBS huge renewals.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Yes. my money is on Gotham or Red Band Society, for the same reasons. Gotham will probably get picked first though. But I do hope they stick to Red Band Society as well, it's one of the first genuinely different network dramas I've seen in a while.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Red Band Society? Really? Its ratings are bad

    ReplyDelete
  31. Gotham. It's a shining star for FOX right now in a black abyss of ratings. With the limited run I think they'll renew it early much like they did with Sleepy Hollow last year.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Gotham because it's the only show that won't need a backorder

We're talking a season 2 renewal here wich will come for every show mid-march or late april, Gotham will end first and thus be renewed first if it continues to perform this well

    ReplyDelete
  33. I'd say Arrow/Flash/TVD are definite contenders for early renewals

I'm not sure about Originals (pushed to monday, lost the female lead), not saying it won't be renewed I'm sure of that but I doubt that it'll be a decision as easy as last year. (I'm a fan though, so I'm overly critical)

Supernatural would be a safe contender as well, unless we don't have heated contract negotations with the leads (wich is a possibility given the show entering its 10th season now and not an ending being in sight)

    ReplyDelete
  34. NCIS: New Orleans i think it would get at least 2 seasons.

    ReplyDelete
  35. If HTGAWM had 13 episodes ( so no mid-season break ) I'd say it'd be the first to be renewed but it has 16 episodes so I would say Gotham

    ReplyDelete
  36. I think The Flash will get renewed first. Just because I think it will premiere really we'll for The CW and it will get renewed early like the first season of Arrow.

    ReplyDelete
  37. HTGAWM looks to be the only new ABC show to be doing well...

    ReplyDelete
  38. Banged by Corey StollOctober 1, 2014 at 6:18 PM

Too early to say but I'm gonna vote for Shonda :-)

    ReplyDelete
  39. I hope How to get away with murder! Gotham is doing fine too

    ReplyDelete
  40. I'd guess either The Flash, Gotham, or Madam Secretary.

    ReplyDelete
  41. How to Get Away With Murder and NCIS: New Orleans, I think, will be the first two shows to be renewed. I haven't followed on on ratings for most of the new shows this season, but those two shows, while I don't watch them, seem to be pulling on some big numbers from what I hear.

The Flash, Gotham and Constantine…the three shows that I'm very excited about, I think will be renewed only after the end of this year and beginning in 2015.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Renewed as in season 2? Think it will be Gotham.
And Red Band Society, really? That is completely different "first"

    ReplyDelete
  43. Hopefully HTGAWM. SO GOOD. But more realistically either The Flash (which I still haven't watched) or Gotham (most likely, as it has already aired).
Scorpion has also been really good, but I don't know what will the CBS do...

    ReplyDelete
  44. HTGAWM, NCIS: New Orleans and The Flash.

    ReplyDelete
  45. i dont know what are they waiting to give Scorpion and HTGAWM the renewal

    ReplyDelete
  46. LOL. People voted HTGAWM to be the first renewed show, while in reality due to ABC's manner of renewing shows in May, it will be actually THE LAST ONE.

    ReplyDelete
  47. How To Get Away with Murder, The Flash or Gotham.

    ReplyDelete
  48. gotham and hopefully NCISNOLA

    ReplyDelete
  49. I think How to Get Away With Murder will get renewed early but I could be wrong.
