Amanda/Nikita was the most fascinating and complex relationship, reminded me a lot of the Evil Queen/Snow White (OUAT) dynamic. I really enjoyed the Amanda/Alex scenes as well, especially in the first two seasons. The cast had great chemistry, however the other relationships were not as well-written as those two I mentioned.
I did not vote for Nikita and Alex, cause first it is a given and second at the end I did not get enough of them for my taste. 1) Nikita and Michael 2) Nikita and Owen 3) Nikita and Birkhoff 4) Alex and Sean 5) Birkhoff and Sonya 6) Alex and Owen - I did enjoy them but it was rushed.
Nikita and Alex leave everything else in the dust. The heart and core of the show. Having less focus on them late in the series was a big mistake.
My other votes: Nikita/Amanda (mostly for 2x18 and the lead-up to it, before Amanda practically became a bunny boiler), Alex/Amanda (fascinating, twisted and complex), Nikita/Birkhoff and Nikita/Owen (my favorite friendships).
Honorable mentions: for friendships - Nikita/Ryan, Alex/Michael, Alex/Birkhoff and Michael/Birkhoff are the standouts for me, love the camaraderie on Team Nikita. Too bad we didn't get more Michael/Sean, coz they had potential. For deliciously twisted dynamics - Nikita/Percy, AFomanda/Percy, maybe Michael/Percy in S1.
Nikita/Alex will always be my favorite, and one of my all-time favorite relationships ever. My other votes go to Nikita/Birkhoff, Nikita/Amanda, Nikita/Ryan, Nikita/Owen.
Every relationship on this show was so fantastic and there were so many that were beautifully developed, but the best, by far, will always be Nikita and Alex. Owen and Alex are next on that list for me, then Michael and Nikita. I also really loved Nikita and Birkhoff, Nikita and Owen, Alex and Birkhoff...basically (as I said) every relationship.
