there's so much to like about season 6, stronger character developments for even the side characters (matt, jeremy, tyler etc) and a legit cool storyline (damon/bonnie/kai); season 6 is definitely an improvement, and I'm so glad I stuck with it
I'm loving almost everything about S6. The return of Ric, the messy complicated ways Stefan and Elena have been handling their overwhelming grief over Damon, the slowburn of Steroline, the Bonnie and Damon scenes, the way the show has been beautifully maintaining the Delena love story even while they are apart, Enzo who I now love, the slowburn on the plot which feels refreshing after so much plot-heavy focus last season, the Stefan and Elena friendship, Tyler trying hard to avoid repeating past mistakes, Bonnie getting her magic back, etc. I'm enjoying the whole thing, pretty much! Still don't really have much use for Liv and Luke, but other than that, I'm loving it!
1.Bamon dynamics 2.Return of alaric 3.No delena drama.Special mention-far better villains than season 5 & less whiny elena.It seems to me season 6 is already better than season 5 of dullena diaries.
Alaric is back! I'm also digging Bonnie and Damon paired up and no I don't mean I'm shipping them cause ewww. I'm also thrilled that Elena is almost likeable again and it has nothing to do with a Damonless season (for her) as I am a Damon/Elena shipper. I just get soooo damn tired of her whining all of the time, so if removing painful memories of Damon will make Elena tolerable, I'm all for it at this point.
"Damon and Bonnie", "Almost no Damon/Elena drama" (if I hear one more time about how she loved him with the passion that consumed her I might actually throw up ugh) and "A more likable and Damon-memory-less Elena".
Damon and Bonnie, hands down, they are really great together, and ithey could be really good friends in the future :) Second for me is Delena, love how they are still with their relationship as powerful as ever, even though they are not together, and third for me is that Alaric is back, really like his character and his relation with Damon and Elena :)
Damon and Bonnie are the best part of this season. Their chemistry is wonderful and they are so funny together...When I started to watch this season I didn't expect I like them so much. Alaric is back!That's great too.He's the only adult of the show(well,Stefan and Damon are 175 years old but they behave like teenagers sometimes).He is a paternal figure for Elena and Jeremy and they really need one. No Delena drama. Season 5 was very frustating because of that. They started to argue in episode 10 and they didn't stop until episode 21!I know that Damon will come back,Elena won't remember him and only the writers know what will happen but it's been refreshing seeing the two characters away from the each other during these episodes.

Yes Bonnie is so much better with her magic, last season when she was just a door for the spirits to go through she got really depressing. And I love Enzo too, I'm so glad he's fighting to get Damon back.

Love the Damon/Bonnie interaction, and Kai seems a nice villain. No "Hello my shadowself" and stuff.

No Delena drama. Season 5 was very frustating because of that. They started to argue in episode 10 and they didn't stop until episode 21!I know that Damon will come back,Elena won't remember him and only the writers know what will happen but it's been refreshing seeing the two characters away from the each other during these episodes.
