She has the same scar Andrea has in the comics. It would be awesome if Beth ends up having a similar arc to the one Andrea has in the comics. tvshow!Andrea was horrible and a waste of a great comic character.
Carol and Beth are both doomed characters. Neither of them are alive past the prison timeline as far as the comics are concerned and so they can be killed at the TV shows Directors leisure and killed in a gloriously painful way in order to maximize the emotional damage done to the remaining survivors and the fans of the show. My bet is Carol dies in the attempted rescue of Beth. Beth later commits suicide upon discovering she is pregnant after being raped. I hope upon hope that I am wrong as I would like to see Carol and Rick hook up while Darryl and Beth become a couple as well. But the show and the comic were never about happy endings.
On another note, I'm betting Sasha is pregnant from Bob and this is the "good from the bad" that was left unanswered at the end of the last episode. Sasha has 8 months 3 weeks and nine days until the baby is born. 8:39.
I'm glad she died instead of becoming intimate with Rick as she did in the comic.
That being said, I'm not so sure I want Beth to follow the comic arc as that means a 40ish year old man and a 16 year old girl would be romantically involved. Ewwww. And not the best marketing message for the show.
Beth has 16 years, she is 19 now, if we follow the timeline of the series, in addition to the world what the age difference matter? Andrea and Dale in the comic were a couple and had 40 years apart, your comment is totally stupid
Since the TV show isn't a 1:1 adaptation, so they could always give comic book Andrea's bad-ass sniper and a long-term survivor arc to Beth, and have some other woman be Rick's love interest in the future.
Exactly. I meant Andrea's transformation in the comics from barely surviving to sniper/badass, not her romantic storyline. I don't want Beth with Rick. Especially because comic!Andrea was one of my favorites and what they did with her character in the tv show was awful and tragic. Also I'm tired of people trying to apply morals to a post apocalyptic world. Abraham and Rosita have a huge age difference and nobody seems to care.
Beth doesn't get raped. The guy tries to rape her but she kills him. There's a promo where you can see the guy is in the floor bleeding and Beth is still dressed. Also it would be stupid and repetitive if she commits suicide after how far she has become since S2.
I looked at the image and its true there was some buildings destroyed, but no zombies. I saw some of the leaked footage of the episode and it looks like its not a dream sequence.
My comment is totally stupid? My comment may be reflective of my attitude towards large age gaps between partners especially since I find adults that "like" kids as the most disgusting wastes of oxygen in the entire universe. Maybe you're okay with pedophiliac tendencies but I'm not. Andrea and Dale had a large age gap but it was not a relationship that started when Andrea was a child. 16 is still a child. Your condescending attitude is what's stupid.
True. Although it might be a red flag that Tara manages to fall a lot and create problems where none are to be found. Lori managed to crash a car in the middle of an empty road. Tara managed to trip herself over and twist her ankle on an empty road. She also managed to fall on her left foot and somehow injure her right knee, and then get her foot stuck in that train tunnel. I see patterns of stupid mishaps :D
At least Coral is older and easier to look after now, so she has that going for her.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteDaryl's face looked like he has found Beth but has now to explain that Carol died before.
ReplyDeleteThe bandage on her arm makes me think of when she said she tried to kill herself during college and probably this is a flashback.
ReplyDeleteWell these two images don't tell us anything.
ReplyDeleteNo it's not a flashback. Beth looks outside the window and sees the zombie destroyed wasteland.

Glad Beth is okay. Thanks for putting my fears to rest on that issue.
ReplyDeleteI hope so. I wonder if they're grooming the fist bumping girl into a future Rick love interest......................

ReplyDeleteIn that case "hey, bump it" would it take on a whole new meaning :P
ReplyDeleteI recall her being a lesbian, but I doubt that's a problem for Rick. She'd switch teams for Grimes.
Can't be any worse than Lori.............................at least fisty might bring home treats ; )
