    How I wish they would DROP this storyline. It's not original. It sux. And it shows Elena is still not growing up and dealing with her problems.

    How the hell did the series in which every episode we used to find out something new about mythology or someone we cared about died or some big bad villain appeared turned into soap opera with the biggest issue being whether Alaric will compel elena to forget Damon or not. The entire first episode was about people talking about their feelings. The episode that's supposed to draw people back in after hiatus and draw new audience. i felt like i was watching The O.C. except i didn't give a damn about anyone.
    if Plec ever gets another job on another channel after this pile of crap she created i will lose all my trust that there is justice in the universe.

    The thing I find funny is that they will write for Elena to say stop to having Stefan's memories wiped away by Rebekah and this is when having found out his brother is sleeping with his ex, yet they make a bigger deal about Elena wanting Damon's gone. My biggest problem with the show at the moment is that they pretty much have scrubbed out Stefan's relationship.
