The Simpsons - Treehouse of Horror XXV - Advanced Preview: "A Halloween Special to Remember"

Plot
On the annual Spooktacular Halloween special, Bart and Lisa are transported to a demon-filled alternate universe after Bart reads a set of Aramaic symbols he finds on the underside of his desk; Moe’s “Clockwork Orange”-style gang is disrupted when Dum (Homer) falls for a girl (Marge) who wants him to give up the thug life; and, in an homage to “The Others,” the Simpsons are visited by their former Tracey Ullman-era versions of themselves

Quick Breakdown
The Episode is broken down into three parts, one part is spent in Hell school. Where Bart manages to actually become good at something and starts getting A's in his classes, he gets to Hell through a table which he finds Aramaic letters on it, and gets Lisa to translate. They read the transcription "He who read this ruin translation, will be taken to damnation" they then get dragged to Hell where surprisingly they both enjoy their time there. I won't go into too much detail of what happened there as it will ruin the episode, but let's just say Bart really likes his teacher. We even get to see some characters turn up in "Hell form". One in particular looked hilarious.

Another part is spent looking at a film, which stars Moe, Homer, Lenard and Carl. They are a gang of criminals, robbing people and beating people up. When the band breaks up Moe can't accept it. He is depressed that he is a barman so gets the gang back together for one last nasty. To rob the burns manor. This turns into a full out brawl with some hilarious dialogue. There was even a disturbing image of one of our characters half naked with all ,but a mask to cover their dignity.

The Final part of the episode starts with Homer receiving a message by the mirror saying "Help me". The house is haunted after strange things occur like the TV turning on by itself. After strange happenings in the middle of the night, they decide to call upon these spirits. This was easily the best part of the episode the dialogue exchange between our characters and their former Tracey Ullman - era versions , was hilarious. There were many gags to take away with you. There was a character trying to seduce another, one character getting alarmingly disturbed by another's crude behavior. One of our characters turns into a ghost and then the family all make one bold decision individually about their life's.

Summary
It was a hilarious episode , full of fun jokes and brilliant dialogue as always. It was probably my favorite halloween special for a while , I really can appreciate how the writers for the show come up with fresh ideas to keep you entertained. I had to rewatch the episode , it was that good. There were also some nice easter eggs in the episode and some of the scenes will stay with you for some time that you will be searching them on youtube long after the episode finishes.
