    you're not alone. On the one hand I'm glad that we finally get to see Tatia on the other I probably won't be able to stomach the "Klaus deserves Tatia more" and "Elijah is a bastard for stealing Tatia away from klaus, such a hypocrite" comments

    I have been waiting to see Tatia with Niklaus and Elijah since we found out the story.
    I also hope we get to see how exactly Tatia was killed and what motivated Esther to choose her instead of any other girl in the village

    Hahaha.I don't want to make it worse but when we'll see Tatia Hayley is torn between Elijah and Klaus.LOL!I'm not saying that this will be a love triangle for sure,but it seems that the writers wants to start the ship war.And it's not cool at all.

    Lol that is true the potential rock, Silas and Amara love dynamic is far better. That being said almost all (if not all) love triangles are annoying if not gratuitous.

    I'm confused now or maybe it's just me but can somebody explain to me, I remember Qetsiyah mention that due to the immortality spell they created the dopplegangers and somewhat the universe would often pull the two doppleganger together due to predestined. So did Tatia met the doppleganger for Silas/Stefan? Or they just decided to skip it and let Tatia get in a love triangle with Klaus and Elijah?

    best ways to watch to/tvd is not to apply logic or overthink things ;) but they could explain it by saying tatia didn´t really love either klaus or elijah but the silas/stefan unknown doppleganger but again logic and plotholes ..............

    haha so true, its like the more I think about it I'm like why is there so much plotholes and yet no explanation. I try to ignore it but its like right in my mind. This is what happen when they decide to jus add in plenty of doppleganger to mess our minds.


    I have a feeling that Esther used Tatia to create the spell cause she probably found out about the immortality spell Qetsiyah used in the past

    I literally asked the same thing on a different site just now!
    they said that Tatia is the original doppelganger, meaning she had to find her other doppelganger, or Qetsiyah's words were just thin air...

    I want them to explain what happened to him, and if he's the father of her child, and how long it took her to forget abt him and jump to the Mikaelsons, or is it in the Amara's doppelganger's blood that they just betray their so-called true loves.

    with the overly use of exposition in every single episode i´m sure they will find some fancy way to explain it to us like we are children or you know make something brand new up like Tatia being the original doppleganger after it was said that a new one came every single century in tvd and amara well she was according to tvd 2000bc so uhm but again loopholes

    its like to me that the writers and the directors/producers just doesn't think through when they are writing these doppleganger stories cause they are creating too much at the same time. Its like all over the place. I mean even though its a spin off from TVD can they at least keep some stuff consistence


    I'm wondering did the Mikaelsons ever liked Katherine or they just see her as a replacement for Tatia. Well we know Klaus doesn't take interest in Katherine since he has been hunting her down but what about Elijah. And did Tatia died before Klaus found out that it was her blood to use for the spell

    well, I think Elijah is just the same as Stefan and Damon, the Salvatore brothers lost Katherine, so they tried to compensate that by loving Elena, Elijah did that as well, he lost Tatia (still unknown to whom she harbored her true feelings) so he went used Katherine as well.

    The writers have the most inconsistent mythology of all time, they just rewrite what they want to suit their current storyline, I've been a watching TVD for enough time to just roll my eyes whenever a mythology slip up occurs.

    Tatia was an original ancestor of Elena, or what Julie Plec calls : The Original Doppelganger (of Amara), we don't know still how she came in contact with the Mikaelsons, but we know that Esther killed her to stop Klaus from turning to a hybrid.

    Nope. Amara was the original - she became immortal 2000 years ago and died in TVD Season 5. There have been a bunch of copies of her since then (Katherine & Elena on TVD, so this will be the fourth character played by Nina Dobrev).

    The only thing you might get confuse is the doppelganger storyline. We are confused about it Tatia background since doppelganger plays a big role in TVD and they mention Tatia is the first doppelganger after Amara and that due to Amara and Silas who took the immortality spell doppelganger (shadow selves) are created to balance nature. And it is mention that it is predestined for the doppelganger to find themselves and fall in love etc something like that.


    We are commenting if Tatia is the first original doppelganger where is the other one since they are "predestined" and how did she get tangled with the Mikaelsons cause it seems like she's playing both Klaus and Elijah just like Katherine did with Stefan and Damon

    Katherine never met the Silas doppelganger of her time, Stefan only met Katherine & Elena - who were not of his time. Elena never met Tom - her matching doppelganger (only Caroline & Enzo did).

    what she meant is the first doppelganger (the first shadow self) that was created after Amara. Tatia is created after Amara so she's consider to be the first (or original) doppelganger, depending how one says. lol we are like trying to figure how to call her

    But the doppelgangers appear more frequenctly then every 1000 years (Stefan was from the 1800s, Tom Avery was the doppelganger for this time - Katherine was born in 1473, Elena was born in the early 1990s).

    They retconned their mythology with Silas/Amara. In Season 2/3 the mythology was that Tatia was the original and Katherine/Elena were her copies but then they changed it when they decided to make Stefan a doppelganger as well.

    I'm pissed. Julie plec owes us a real crossover. Hyping this to be a crossover and then the huge letdown that no character from TVD is actually crossing over to the originals. I'll bet we'll see alaric in New Orleans before the season's over though. He has scores to settle with "the original family". Especially Esther.

    True but then again Qetsiyah did mention she's sick and tired of seeing the doppelganger getting together and true love prevails all and stuff. So they did meet each other but as mortals. What I'm thinking is because Katherine became a vampire it caused another change in the predestined and Stefan becoming a vampire too so maybe it cause the doppelganger to not meet their other one and the stuff shifted

    being a doppelganger means that you're the exact copy of another person, and since Amara was unique and had no one else who looks like her, it means that Tatia is the first (original) doppelganger that looked like her.
    Amara (unique)>Tatia(original)>.....>.......>Katherine>Elena.

    maybe, since they never addressed that issue of how one can just be chosen to be a doppelganger.

    As damon put it "he got doppelganger coming out of my ears" its like the writers jus had to make the timeline confusing and throws everything in circle. I keep on thinking the Mikaelson only met Katherine since it mention her over and over never though Tatia was the first one and that shes like Katherine, playing both brothers

    that doesn't make sense at all. Tessa said Amara spawned a thousand dopplegangers so surely Tatia wasn't the original after Amara. in fact it means on average a doppleganger is born every two years.
    but Elijah did say Esther used Tatia's blood in the spell that made them vampires so in a sense Tatia is the "Original dopplegagner" like Esther is the "Original witch" as they called her in tvd.
    and Silas did say Stefan and Damon were distant nephews of his.

But you noticed something similar, both Tatia and Katherine had a child probably both out of wedlock and they both seem to have the same personality as each other, Katherine got both the Salvatores to fall for her hard. It seems like Tatia has the same ability toward the Mikaelsons too.


    This we can see the writers are lacking thoughts on characters or unless they did that on purpose lol
