Does that mean that the writers are planning to resurrect Klaus' oldest brother? Come on, there has to be a reason why they're mentioning him! Unless it's to show us Esther's grief..
Narducci said we'll be getting more tenth century flashbacks to explore the family so it's probably to draw the connection between present day and past.
We don't know if his real name is actually Aaron. Ok, that's the name that was written on the cave wall, but, at that time, the writers were not even planning to introduce him. It's possible that it was chosen by whoever was responsible for the drawings, and the writers are not even aware that this name is being used by the fandom. And the only thing we know is that he died in Europe. He could've been twenty or two.
Actually in VD Elijah told that one Brother had died because of a illness when his parents still lived in Europe. After his death Mikael and Esther came to the New world and Finn, Elijah, Klaus, Kol, Rebekah, and Henrik were all born in the 10th century in a village that would one day become Mystic Falls in the 1800's. After Henrik's death and them being turned into vampires Klaus was discovered to not be his fathers son but the son of a werewolf leader his mother had an affair with, when he made his first kill and his werewolf side was triggered making him a hybrid.
Yeah, the eldest child died in Europe. Klaus wasn't conceived until they moved to the Americas and Esther had an affair with a werewolf so the first child would have died before Klaus was born.
I totally forgot about the not henrik other brother.
i really wish they just bring up all of the original mikaelson clan cast members back. I just rewatched the episode where they make their appearance together and they're chemistry was so great.
it's fascinating how no one questions HOW 8 people had crossed the atlantic ocean to america in the 10th century.... perhaps Esther being a witch had used broomsticks to transport her family over big water... and were Esther and Mikael jewish or something??
Between the affair and the creation of vampires, it is really hard to figure out where she's coming from. Without her, there would be no original vampires. I mean she turned her children into monsters and then has the audacity to be mad at them for being monsters. Plus Mikael being mad at Klaus--for apparently being born--but not Ester for having the affair in the first place was always kinda weird for me.
Both of the parents are just awful. Esther blames her children (mostly Klaus) for all the horrible messes she created and Mikael insists on going after Klaus because he's an "abomination" when the truth is that he's just a pissed off, cuckolded husband on a centuries long temper tantrum and after all this time he's still taking his frustrations out on Klaus who is both the product of and a constant reminder of his wife's affair.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteI don't think they will be resurrecting him. It's just history lesson for those who didn't watch The Vampire Dramas.

ReplyDeleteIn VD Elijah told that one Brother had died because over an illness when they still lived in Europe. Now Klaus says he died before the kid was born?
ReplyDeleteEsther and Mikael's first born son 'Aaron' died as a infant / child so it's doubtful he'll be resurrected
ReplyDeleteThat's a really good theory :) I think you're right!
ReplyDeleteOh nevermind, he died before Klaus was born

Actually Mikael only started trying to kill Klaus after the latter killed Esther and framed Mikael for it.

ReplyDeleteEsther has a couple of big reasons to hate Klaus but the bare-bones truth of it all is that she's the root cause behind all of those reasons.

Most of the best VD episodes involve originals. They did a great job casting for the originals roles.
ReplyDeleteYes and its something I don't see her accepting. She is the biggest hypocrite ever when it comes to her children.
