Like the titles, though I think Bob Morley's name should before Thomas McDonell considering Finn's character isn't even in the book and Bellamy is like the 2nd most important character!!!!!
What can I say: I am a fan of Bob Morley - and I am weird this way :) Everyone has their own little weird things about themselves - just saying :) nothing wrong with it. But non the less I love the show no matter what kind of titles they'll make!!
I really love them. I've always hated The CW was anti-opening sequences, but I'm glad they've been making a comeback (all over TV not just here)... people keep comparing these titles to Game of Thrones... which I've sat through over 80 times and definitely don't see, or agree with.
the comparison I believe is because it shows a variety of locations that the show is set in. I see it after watching it again and for some reason the music does it aswell
I think it just varies with every show. I can live with 10-15 second openings like those from Gossip Girl and 90210 but not those 5-second title cards like the one One Tree Hill employed in its last few seasons.
However, Supernatural gets aways from the 5-second thingy knowing how creative they can be with changing their titles every season. Same goes for The Vampire Diaries and the Originals where they always have a constant element of suspense in presenting their 5-second intros to start and end their episodes.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
This is so goddamn epic!
ReplyDeleteI love it! Can't wait to see this live!
ReplyDeleteThis is amazing and high quality. The CW can deliver when they want to.
ReplyDeleteEPIC
ReplyDeleteI want something similar for Arrow and The Originals :D
WOW! LOVED IT!
ReplyDeleteSo they went with a futuristic, post-apocalyptic Game of Thrones thing. Not bad.
ReplyDeleteOMG THIS IS SO EPIC!!! I really really hope this gets renewed. Why was this show given main titles? It's not like The CW to do that.

ReplyDeleteWow, that's awesome and epic!
ReplyDeleteAmazing ... and i want Opening Intro for Reign back
ReplyDeleteGod, i wish both of them could somehow get renewed

ReplyDeleteWow!!! This is freaking amazing. Gets the blood pumping and adrenaline rising.
ReplyDeleteHave to say, everything about The 100 continues to surprise and impress.
Does any CW show have opening credits? I don't think any of the ones I watch do so I'm surprised that they're introducing them.
ReplyDeleteSeriously?
ReplyDeleteThis is fantastic! The music is so fitting! I really hope the ratings pick up because this show deserves so much more recognition and seasons!
ReplyDeleteSome of the old ones had them but among the current programming, I think this is the only intro.
ReplyDeleteWhy does it matter who's name is first? It's not a contest. They're not listed by who's more popular.
ReplyDeleteI love it so much! It's perfect. EPIC.
ReplyDeleteno intro is so much better

Well, it's not a very CW-like show, is it?
ReplyDeleteI guess it deserves to design its own place in their programm.
Yh that's what I thought too, im glad it gets a chance to stand out as being unique to the rest of their shows.
ReplyDeleteI could envision The Originals having some pretty effing epic opening titles
ReplyDeleteNo, it's 100% not better at all.
ReplyDeleteI really love them. I've always hated The CW was anti-opening sequences, but I'm glad they've been making a comeback (all over TV not just here)... people keep comparing these titles to Game of Thrones... which I've sat through over 80 times and definitely don't see, or agree with.
ReplyDeleteThis is so bad ass. I love opening sequences. Now if only Arrow has one instead of the voice over.
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous. I love everything about it. THR says that the opening and ending scenes will change with each episode. How damn cool is that?
ReplyDeletethat's AMAZING!!!
ReplyDeletethe comparison I believe is because it shows a variety of locations that the show is set in. I see it after watching it again and for some reason the music does it aswell
ReplyDeleteFINALLY!
ReplyDeleteI'm watching the second episode was totally blown away by those.
I was so used to seeing the old "The 100" thing that lasts like 3 seconds.
Reign did have an opening credits in its first season but not anymore, sadly.
ReplyDeleteVery impressive,i must say!!
ReplyDeleteWow, new favortie opening!!!!

Why does billing matters?
ReplyDeleteThe music reminds me a little to the show Spartacus.
ReplyDeleteThat is actually really amazing! Something more to look forward to in every episode..
ReplyDeleteReally, I was thinking BSG. Hm.
ReplyDeleteAwesome!
ReplyDeleteplease guys watch the show!!!
ReplyDeleteHOLY CRAP THIS IS FREAKING AWESOM!!!! WOW
ReplyDeleteI like it a lot. As an long time Anime watcher, I'm really in to Openings.
ReplyDeleteit doesnt matter. but actually most shows do list characters starting with the most focal one. an i'd be lying if i said i didnt think d same way
ReplyDeleteThat too... ;P
