Feel like a proud momma now, my little show all grown up and still goes strong despite all bumps on the road, hate and mocking. Awww Hopefully we'll see another successful season this year from the rating perspective and quality of the story.
Demon Dean is a lot like soulless Sam/regular angry Dean and future Dean all rolled into one. Its hard to imagine Sam and Dean suddenly being able to work together week in week out while Dean is still a demon. Something big must happen in episode 3 because I don't see Dean willing to stick around with Sam.
You know, this is a pretty huge deal for any show, really. I can't really remember the last time I saw a retrospective on a one-hour series that wasn't followed by the series finale, like One Tree Hill or Smallville. To get to ten seasons, and it going past that, but still show a retrospective…I think that says a lot, certainly of how The CW has actually started to really care about the series. Glad to see Eric Kripke too. I hope it's new stuff featuring him; I'd like to hear his thoughts on going into ten seasons.
I think dean has to gave demon in him or else the mark would kill him so demon is dormant would be nice if they found can and see how he is able to stay alive
so if CW is doing this it mite be the Last season OK! I am still up in the air about a season 11 lets see if season 10 does ok if not give up all ready but If CW goes ahead with a season 11 will not be that bad right?
I going too see this on Monday night and be sad this will or will not be the last season if so I hope its a great retrospective on a great show how good and sometimes bad later seasons but still One awesome show no matter what I still have love for it.
Well nothing official and I can not find anymore original source on Tumblr (if someone can, please post the link) but here we go: (again, from unofficial, but reliable source as author claims) : SPOILERS!!!!
-Dean is “cured” by the end of 10×03 “Soul Survivor”. NOTE the quotes. Demon!Dean might not be around but the MOC remains and it continues to be a serious issue.
-Does Sam cure Dean? -Sam is heavily involved in curing Dean.
-Episode 10×04 “Paper Moon” begins with Sam and Dean drinking beers by the water. Seems like things are good between them. NOTE: this appears to be the episode they were filming when Jared did the ice bucket challenge.
-Cole appears in eps 10×01 ”Black” and 10×02 “Reichenbach”. He apparently captures Sam sometime in 10×01 (probably the end of the ep) and their scenes continue in ep 10×02.
-Rumor has it, Hannah will probably use her grace to save Castiel Hannah’s vessel will return to her husband so it seems she willingly cuts out her grace to heal Cas. What’s more, the name “Hannah” means “grace”.
-There will be no Becky in the 200th episode and no love triangles. Jensen and Jared do not sing in it, Most of the roles in the play based on Chuck’s books are mostly played by girls, even Sam and Dean (you can see their names on imdb).
The rest of it depends on ratings and CW's willingness to continue the series beyond season 10. It would be a mistake to not continue as long as the ratings are good, but you never know.
how many season can they go on with? but if the Ratings are good with season 10 I can see it going on too 11 but be damn shocked if it goes farther then that.
The cast have mentioned wanting to take Smallville's title of longest running US science fiction series (even though Supernatural should be classified as fantasy), so it'll probably go at least that far. If this season is 23 episodes like the last few then they'll match Smallville. An 11th season will then take the title.
Season 12 I can go with that but they got to go out with a bang but I like too see a Movie out of this like the X-files did that be cool would it work I do not know.
That's why I think it can only last two more seasons. To me, I always felt like Sara Gamble's two seasons was the "intermission" of Supernatural and Jeremy Carver does plan on going out with a bang and I also believe Carver is figuring out a five-season arc, much like Kripke did that started out with three seasons and grew from there. Before the S8 even started, Carver said he had an idea to end S10 and now he and the cast are talking about extra seasons and I just feel like Carver has a five-year plan now, much like Kripke, especially when Jared has also mentioning that he could see the series last "a couple more seasons". I think it just might end at S12.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
SPN still rocks!!!!
ReplyDeleteAmazing!!! :D Best show ever!! ♥

ReplyDeleteHow do you know that?

ReplyDeleteWhat's your evidence to support this, I have seen zero spoilers showing this to be the case.

ReplyDeleteWhy would it be the last season when all for cast members and Jeremy Carver have already spoken about future seasons beyond S10?

AWESOME SAUCE, i can't wait to see it, i hope kripke's commentary is new, wow 10 years and the network still wants more that is so amazing
ReplyDeletei think the demon part is just dormant other wise the mark would kill him? Crowley said its not meant for humans!
ReplyDeleteThe rest of it depends on ratings and CW's willingness to continue the series beyond season 10. It would be a mistake to not continue as long as the ratings are good, but you never know.
ReplyDeleteTrue, but I don't see SPN losing ratings this season. This season feels like it has the hype that it did during the fifth season.
ReplyDeleteThe main danger is AoS, but seems like it's not that strong anymore. So hopefully SPN and Flash can benefit from each other and be a good combo
