I keep finding myself thinking that they really need to get some Hunters from Supernatural to show up and give them a few tips since they have already dealt with so many of the type creatures that they keep running into on this show. Please don't think I mean that as a dig at Sleepy Hollow, which I love. SPN has been on so long there aren't many creatures they haven't run into and I just think it would be fun to maybe just see a Black 67 Impala pulling away from the curb and Ichabod says that two remarkable handsome nice men had given him a notebook with some helpful hints. :)
I hope that they reference the Algonquian-speaking people's myth. Sleepy Hollow needs to improve the representation of Native American people on this show.
Thank you for being the first to say something I was afraid to mention. There has been alot of similarities between SH and SPN. Just off the top of my head there's Croatoan, Purgatory, the Sandman, witches, zombies and necromancers, demonic possession, Wendigo, and Skin Walker. SH had kind of a mashup between Bloody Mary and the Woman in White in their version of the Weeping Lady. SH has two sisters' lives and destinies forever changed because of an encounter with a demon when they where children. Now the sisters have to fight together to stop the Apocalypse. That's opposed to SPN'S two brothers ... you get the point. I'm not bashing SH either, but it's kind of hard to not see the commonalities between it and SP at times.
Are Ichabod and Katrina about to be seperated in the next epi? http://hdtvshows.net/tvshows/Sleepy-Hollow.htm Oh no, please don't. they are better together.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I *love* it. This is definitely one of my top favorite monsters of the show so far aesthetically.
ReplyDeleteWell that looks awesome! :)
ReplyDeleteCool Wendigo!
ReplyDeleteMan, they come up with some freaky-looking creatures on this show! This guy looks creepy.
ReplyDeleteLove the photo of Ichabod preparing to fight him.
Wow some great shots and look at the new baddie. Awesome looking 'Wendigo'!
