  4. Liked how Walter:"I just can hack his..." and Paige "Absolutely not!" Guys so overprotective of her and Ralph, it's nice.

  5. I really hope they won't make Ralph's dad a complete asshole. Yes, 7 years! And it's beyond my understanding how someone could leave a child behind, just simply put aside as an old toy. There are different situations, I get it, but unless circumstances of a die nature he could have tried to stay in boy's life. Anyway as any human being he deserves a second chance. Obviously Ralph's dad will never be able to connect with his son on the same level Walter and the gang can but he could try to. Ralph deserves to have both parents (doesn't mean for them to be together) and Walter as a mentor and (and maybe in future) as a father figure kinda person. The team would back him up. :)

  6. I think it would be good to get a bit of Paige's backstory in this epi. I will definitely watch. Still on the fence about this show.

For me its Walter...he drives me batty. Its the facial expressions or lack of facial expressions. I get it....he has no EQ....but honestly it is very distracting for me as a viewer.

  7. Sadly, this is common in many household's. Father's tend to leave their children behind, and women rear them. Its a good one to tackle.

  8. You're forgetting that Ralph's father cheated on Paige. Paige said in the first episode that her ex cheated on her with a bimbo.

So if you add his cheating to his leaving his young child...that makes it worse. His child needed him the most due to his situation. He was a child that was different/special. He needed a father.

And Paige didn't deserve to be cheated on. I don't know how they can make Ralph's father sympathetic due to his cheating and leaving.

I mean, a father who cheated on his woman and abandoned his child...

  9. I remember that, I mean him cheating on Paige. That was awful, no argument here, and as any person in the world she didn't deserve that, yes, but he was young and awfully stupid, probably didn't get at that time what it was like to have a kid, that kind of responsibility as a parent. I just say it would be such a clishe for him to be a bad guy. He deserves kicks and punches from Paige, yes, she has every right to be hard on him but Ralph has the right to have a father back in his life too. Maybe he's changed and matured well enough? I am just saying it's not too late for a kid to have both parents and for Ralph's dad to take the responsibility. :) Plus everyone on the team thinks he is a low one but what if he's not now? Nice friction for Walter to think about. :)

  10. Yes, it is. Modern times... I sure as hell do not wanna see Paige to go easy on him but still think he could be given a chance to prove he is changed.

  11. Not only hers since the title refers to a father figure so I really would like to get some info on each member's father. I am intrigued with Sly's response once that his father had ruined him. I wonder what happened between the two? Ha has't spoken with his parents fir 10 years! As for Walter's (or the actor's) facial expression, I do not know, but I, personally, see pretty much unemotional emotions. It is really good how he carry this unemotional, or better to say, low emotional guy with a lot under the skin. It seems he doesn't care or feel much but at the same time the eyes express a lot. I see him care, worry, enjoy... just not with such a huge response as normals do. I like watching him as a character of Walter. Can't emagin anyone else. :)
