I just don't see the point in playing this out. It is so obvious that David isn't really in love with Victoria. What exactly is he trying to achieve by staying with her? The only good reason I can come up if is to make it more devastating for Victoria once dhe eventually finds out David's true intentions. But the whole thing is just done in such an uncompelling manner that it's painful to watch.
Atrocious writing. That's what it would be. Even if he really was on Victoria's side, surely he must be wondering why Nolan - whom he entrusted Emily's life with - is protecting the woman who's supposedly responsible for his daughter's death. Even he is as dumb as the show wants us to believe, it doesn't take much to connect the dots. The writers have written themselves into the corner with only one plausible ending: David is playing Victoria. Everything else simply wouldn't make any sense.
The only question(s) that I have is: How the hell did no one in this planet recognized him when he was on the cafe in 4x02 and there, and Ben's reaction... enough of negatives points, the season is turning to be great not good
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Wow, so soon.
ReplyDeleteReady for sunday. #Revenge
ReplyDeleteI hope this is the last time David plays dumb. Him being with Victoria just irritates me to no end.
ReplyDeleteOh, wow! This is gonna be very emotional!
ReplyDeleteDoubt it. The two press releases after this episode talk about how Victoria sinks her claws deeper in to Dumbass David or something.
ReplyDeleteI was gonna say it. I can't deal with this fuckery.

ReplyDeleteWhat if David Clarke really is that stupid and lovestruck? I wouldn't put it past the show.

ReplyDeleteI don't think they were in town. And the only person who actually saw his face was the waitress
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited that i forgot how to breath..... asdfghjkl
ReplyDeleteOh my god!
ReplyDeleteI never really thought much of David anyway. I'm wondering perhaps if Emily will turn on her father.
ReplyDeleteWasn't enough to recognize him? He was exonerated and appeared in the news. But hey f*** it I want to know how he survived...
