This table shows the early overnight ratings. These ratings are normally adjusted later in the day when all the ratings have been consolidated to take into account any local preemptions and/or overruns. You can find all the final adjusted numbers in our Ratings Database. (See the About section below for details about ratings)
Can't see the tables? Check out our Troubleshooting Guide
Each day (except Sunday) during the main TV Season we post the TV Ratings for the previous nights primetime shows for the major broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, CW, FOX, NBC). Cable Network ratings will be added to the Ratings Database.
The first item that gets posted (normally around 2pm GMT) is the early overnight analysis based on the early household numbers (these are not the same as the Total Viewers and 18-49 Demo numbers that are posted later).
Next, if available, we will post the Top 25 Market 18-49 Ratings to give you a rough idea of the ratings to following.
Later on (normally between 4pm-5pm GMT) we post the official early overnight Total Viewers and 18-49 Demo numbers in the table above.
Finally, later in the evening (10pm-11pm GMT) or the following day, the final adjusted ratings numbers are released, these are then posted in the Ratings Database. The Final Adjusted numbers are what we use for all our Renew/Cancellation Tables, Full Season Tables, Ratings Scorecards etc (see below). Friday's Final Adjusted Ratings are normally available on the following Monday.
If you’re interested in Ratings/Renewals/Cancellations then we have a number of resources here at SpoilerTV that we recommend you check out.
So ABC...will you adjust up again?
ReplyDeleteI was hoping for Hawaii Five-0 to go up more, but I'll take it.
ReplyDeleteThe important thing is that it is up!!! - i think that by the end of the season we will have stable ratings and we will have season 6 of Hawaii 5-0 :)
ReplyDeleteI believe H50 is safe. CBS wouldn't have ordered 25 episodes this season (almost unheard of) if they thought the series was in real danger. TAR needs to move back to Sunday nights.
ReplyDeleteEverything seems a bit too down for me, particularly ABC. Maybe some crazy adjustments are in order again? I was honestly expecting all three (LMS, Shark Tank, 20/20) to do 2 tenths higher or so
ReplyDeleteGlad that H50 went up a tenth and surprised that Blue Bloods didn't manage to follow it.
Also, the CW is ruining Whose Line by forcing it to air in the fall. They should really keep it as a late season option. It was pulling 0.7s on this slot last winter in repeats. To pull a 0.4 now for originals is bad. Top Model did surprisingly well though.
Winners: Shark Tank, America's Next Top Model
Okay: Hawaii Five-0
Very disapointing: Last Man Standing, Blue Bloods, Dateline
Losers: The Amazing Race, 20/20, Whose Line Is It Anyway
Do you think Hawaii Five-0 will be safe this year with these ratings?
ReplyDeleteYes, I do. CBS will have enough free hours to cut elsewhere.
ReplyDeleteTAR will go straight to summer or cancelled. I would like to see it summer post Big Brother, it would probably do decent business for CBS.
ReplyDeletePoor FOX. Utopia matched Glee's season final. I wonder what'll be FOX's low this season, Glee or Utopia. On that note, how long does Utopia actually go for? Wikipedia implies it goes for a year (filmed 24 hours a day for a year).
ReplyDeleteWLIIA and ANTM matched Reign's demo and had more viewers, not good for Reign.
Oh no it's up! It has gone up over 60% according to TV by the Numbers this week
ReplyDeleteWas a little worried by the ratings when a friend told me last week while I was in Hawaii but looked it's good and steady compared to last season. And good again with last night I'm happy with the numbers and I read on TV By the Numbers just earlier the numbers went up by 60% with the premiere last week!
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure it will it's the same numbers as last season for sure. But sometimes it's a problem because I heard last week CBS doesn't actually own H50 Leonard Freeman does. I have no idea how it runs now that him and his wife has died I think it's owned by the family
ReplyDeleteHow can America's Top Model be a winner while you call Blue Bloods very disappointing when it has the highest viewership of the night?
ReplyDeleteI will not accept it if CBS cancels TAR... i want my 2 Seasons every year... And TAR Canada in the summer!
ReplyDeleteThe numbers you're referring to Nardia are the Live+3 ratings and viewership for premiere week. H50 jumped 68% in post air date viewership - at the top of the list for post air date % for any prime time show that week, and raised .8 in 18-25 demo from 1.2 to 2.
ReplyDeleteAn upward trend for CBS on Friday is a good thing for sure! Perhaps TAR followers found it on Friday and stuck around for H50. Blue Bloods has it loyal followers - I don't see it's numbers or demo changing much all season - very consistent with it's viewership especially.
ReplyDeleteFridays were my favorite day. Fringe, Haven, Nikita, Grimm. Now only Grimm and Haven have survived. Haven may end next year so...
ReplyDeleteUrgh, LMS will kill Cristela with its ratings.
