This table shows the early overnight ratings. These ratings are normally adjusted later in the day when all the ratings have been consolidated to take into account any local preemptions and/or overruns. You can find all the final adjusted numbers in our Ratings Database. (See the About section below for details about ratings)

Ratings Breakdown:
San Francisco’s victory over Kansas City on the seventh game of the 2014 World Series lifted Fox to a hefty (and rare) overnight Wednesday win. The final match-up averaged an approximate 14.5 rating/23 share in the overnight households in primetime, peaking in the 10:30 p.m. half-hour at a 17.3/28. Comparably, this was 16 percent above the 12.5/21 for Boston’s victory over St. Louis in the sixth (and final) match-up on the year-ago evening, and it was 59 percent above the 9.1/14 for game six on Tuesday. And that Tuesday game averaged 13.37 million viewers and a 3.5 rating/11 share among adults 18-49, based on the Live Plus Same Day data.
Despite the added competition, ABC, CBS and The CW were on par in the overnights from one week earlier (with NBC’s loss of 26 percent a result of repeat airings of “Law & Order: SVU” and “Chicago PD”). Veteran “Survivor” on CBS, which is merging the teams next week, scored a 5.8/ 9 (#2) in the overnights from 8-9 p.m., which was equal to both last week and the year-ago evening. This is a reality/competition that shows absolutely no signs of slowing down.
Next on the Eye net was another long-running entry, “Criminal Minds,” which rose to a 6.9/10 (#2) at 9 p.m., followed by just full season-renewed “Stalker” at a 5.2/ 8. Although “Stalker” increased by eight percent versus the 4.8/ 8 one week earlier, it was still down by 19 percent from year-ago time period occupant “CSI” (6.4/11 on 10/30/13).
ABC was virtually identical from one week earlier with its line-up of “The Middle” (#3t: 5.1/ 8), “The Goldbergs” (#4: 4.6/ 7), “Modern Family” (#2: 7.0/11), recent entry “Black-ish” (#3: 5.5/ 8) and the always quiet “Nashville” (#3: 3.9/ 6). Particularly positive for ABC remains “Black-ish,” which was 41 percent above failed “Super Fun Night” on the year-ago evening (3.9/ 6 out of a 5.2/ 8 for a repeat of “Modern Family”).
Elsewhere, older-skewing NBC drama “The Mysteries of Laura” earned its full season-renewal with a consistent 5.1/ 8 (#3) from 8-9 p.m., followed by encore telecasts of aforementioned “Law & Order: SVU” (#4: 3.0/ 4) and “Chicago PD” (#4: 2.9/ 5) from 9-11 p.m. The CW, meanwhile, has sprung what could be a leak in the Wednesday 9 p.m. hour as a result of “The 100” at a 1.1/ 2 at 9 p.m. (#5). Comparably, this was 42 percent below lead-in “Arrow” (#5: 1.9/ 3 at 8 p.m.) and 15 percent below failed year-ago occupant “The Tomorrow People” (1.3/ 2 on 10/30/13). Last week, “The 100” opened its sophomore season with a 1.2/ 2 on Oct. 22, and that translated into 1.54 million viewers and a 0.5/ 1 among adults 18-49 (based on the Live + Same Day data).
