Only one vote from me this week - Clara tells the Doctor she doesn't want to be the last of her kind. Lovely little scene played well by both of them, I liked the way it made us see Clara putting herself in the Doctor's shoes again, though I would have preferred more of a reaction off that line from Twelve.
I liked that scene and I thought the reaction was very in character for the twelve. I especially liked the way the doctor repeated Clara's words from Kill the Moon. It has been a slow development but the Doctor finally feels like the protector of the earth again and he has finally connected with humanity.
We already had a very passionate speech from him last week about him being a protector though, so to have that repeated again in the next episode isn't really needed perhaps. Where as from an arc point of view Clara lying, yet again, in order to get him to follow her back to the TARDIS is something that I would have liked to see register with him. Especially as he didn't even suspect that anything was up until she admitted it, and then for her to use his own words like that to describe herself too. She's changed beyond recognition since the start of the season, he could tell something was up at the end of last weeks episode, but didn't even blink in this one.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
