    There's some bumps in the road for Steroline, but Stefan very pointedly did NOT reject her. If he didn't share her feelings he would have said so, instead he just simply left. This is very far from over.

    Really enjoying the Bonnie/Damon odd couple show, very entertaining and im really curious as to how it's all going to work out.

    Im glad the real world storyline is starting to pick up, they needed a plot beyond relationship drama.

    Can the writers take a hint that bamon is where it's at, granted I'm not saying they have to be romantic but their storyline is the only interesting thing. I'm still a little bitter that it took 5 seasons to give bonnie a good storyline, she really should have equal treatment with elena and caroline because so far they are boring the hell out of me.

    I do wonder if Bonnie/Damon is something the writers will explore romantically. This show is so much different (and still better imo) than the books, but I do remember Bamon being a thing in the books and it seems all this story with them on there own that the writers might do it. Personally, it would be more organic than what Elena/Damon have.

    so we finally met our Big Bad i actually kind of like him as a villain even though he looks like he's their age, loved seeing damon's car back and loved his exclamation THAT'S MY CAR!!! lmao, damn it this elena crap is getting annoying and confusing if she doesn't remember her love for damon then she can't remember anything with him so she can't remember caroline being a vampire, enzo, the travelers, the Augustines, silas, tessa, even klaus and bonnie being an anchor those all happened when she was in love with damon so she can't remember those moments

    Damon and Bonnie - so much chemistry. All their scenes are awesome. The show creators/writers really dropped the ball on a potential relationship between them.

    Caroline - deserved some hugs.

    Stefan and Caroline - a little sad. Looks like the writers are playing the long game here and I am weirdly okay with it.

    Liv and Tyler - There's potential there. At least Tyler's interest in Liv is helping him bring his rage under control.

    Enzo - as always reckless. Was surprised when he got staked by Stefan at the end. Now I am wondering how Enzo gets out of this jam. Who saves him? Caroline? Does Stefan have a change of heart? Or is there some plan of Stefan to know more about Tripp? Or maybe it's Matt - which of all possibilities is the best one. Anyways, not too bummed about Enzo's situation. He totally deserves it.

    Three nice mysteries being set up:

    Kai - who is he? How come he is stuck there? Friend or enemy?

    Compulsion wears off. What implications will this have?

    Sara - who is she? Who is her father? She is playing her part well because she gave no sign that she recognized Elena as the vampire who fed on her (given that Caroline's compulsion wore off when Sara entered Mystic Falls). Is she a witch? What is her goal? Enemy or friend?

    YES, Bonnie's a witch..........Bonnie has her powers..........AGAIN! There is still hope for "Diaries", so "Jules" gets a reprieve.........for now. Damon, Bonnie, and Enzo made this episode and Tyler was strangely "likable", but that could just be me since he and "Caro" are no longer together.
    Predictions: Enzo and Stefan are working together to draw out vampire hunter, Tripp. Don't know what to make of "Kid Pork Cracklins" (Kai) yet. Could Sara be Bonnie's half - sister (same father who died last season)?

    at least it's entertaining and watchable haha this season, and not confusing. Season 5 was super convoluted, now season 6 is simpler, and focused, can't be happier with tvd's growth, it's aging gracefully so far

    I dislike Steroline, so I hope Stefan makes it clear that he's not interested because clearly it didn't register with Caroline and her sudden feelings for Stefan seem so out of the blue.

    Elena was way better than she's been in like two years in this episode.

    No idea what Kai's deal is but I think he's supposed to be the villain/antagonist this year.

    Stefan's a Dick. Omg I've never disliked him before. What is happening. Loving Bamon, he said he likes her. Poor Caroline she doesn't deserve to be crying about a guy for two weeks, Stefan doesn't deserve to be cried about. And if anything happens to Enzo I wont be happy. He's my new favourite.

    Didn't the writers confirm that it was going to be unrequited and one-sided though? I think that they said that Caroline was going to have Stefan for feelings but he wouldn't be returning them.

    Another good episode, thanks mainly to the moments with Bonnie and Damon. Loved when Bonnie told Damon to remove his ring and give up, instead of constantly being negative, and LOL at the fact that she's already left him thirteen times. I'm still trying to figure out whether the 1994 date has to do with Bonnie or Damon.

    I really dislike that Elena compelled herself (again) to deal with the pain of loss, and the fact that it will probably cause her to go running back to Stefan is annoying. Caroline was right about her not facing her problems and watching Caroline fall apart because of Stefan was heartbreaking;I'm really hoping that Elena and stefan will not be a couple when Damon returns, because it means that Damon will spend the rest of the season fighting with Stefan and trying to win back Elena. Yawn. I'm hoping that it takes Damon and Bonnie a while (like maybe half a season!) before they make it back to Mystic fall!

    Still not an Enzo fan, and LOL at Caroline calling him the stability in her life. Does Caroline always have to be the person that all the bad guys hook up with? It seems like the writers used the Damon formula for Enzo's personality, instead of giving him a more unique personality. I'd much prefer to get more scenes with Luke and Liv, who actually do bring something different to the plot. Plus, the brief Liv and Tyler scenes were great...they both have great chemistry.

    So I'm wondering...if Elena were to return to Mystic Falls, without ending up fried,would that make her forget Alaric's compulsion?

    Really enjoyed the Stefan scenes -- notably the opening scene and the final scene he did. Angry Stefan is a lot of fun. Curious as to Kai and his story, and how the other guy didn't know Stefan was a vampire while Kai did. Damon and Bonnie are fantastic! Bonnie regaining her witch powers was strong and powerful, unlike we've often seen her written. Elena's super chirpiness, while making sense in that she's lost her memories of Damon, just reminds me of how stupid that storyline is. I'm glad Caroline got close in her biting comment about some people deal with painful things rather than just hiding from them. In context it appeared she was talking about Stefan, and in some way she was, but it was mostly directed straight at poor, helpless, selfish little Elena who only cared about her pain, not that others around her, including Stefan, were also suffering. All the other scenes were just fast forward for me, Matt, Tyler, Liv, Jeremy. Damon and Bonnie, and angry Stefan are making the show fun. And as for next week's promo...about time Damon remembers he needs to get back because of his brother as well!

    Like in her mind she still had the party, but Damon never gave her the necklace, for example. Maybe was never even there. She knows of him, she just doesn't have those moments that made her like and later love him.

    its bad that the Bonnie/Damon side plot is better than the main storyline of the show lol. There stuff is refreshing...the rest seems more of the same. But CAROLINE FINALLY ADMITTED SHE HAS FEELINGS FOR STEFAN!

    Wow. I never thought I would say this but Stefan is a dick.He has treated Caroline so bad without a reason...I understand he was angry with Enzo but seriously?Helping Tripp to capture him?Dick.
    I love Bonnie and Damon and how strong their friendship is. I think Kai will be a good villain. If you want to be a villain in tvd, trying to kill Damon is a good start.

    oh cmon guys obviusly he has feeling for her and so does she, but nothing good comes from rushing into things, also people seems to forget they are all grieving(in their own way) Stefan was the guy who always cared and that meant he always lost something or someone so he's trying to start over, NO vampire NO supernatural problems NO death and thinks that if he tries to be with Caroline ultimately he will lose her too . Of course he need to explain himself that's something im interested in too.

    Also stop hanging on every writer word/interview, they tease a lot and you can see it in next ep promo. Everything will happen in time.

    here I though Elena-less Stefan was good, only to realize Elena-less Damon is better! Bonnie/Damon could be the saving grace of this season, and I love that there's some feelings there (friendly ofc).

    Kai is a huge potential if the writers play their cards right, am kinda hoping he's a new supernatural specie.


    Elena...not that annoying...a shocker, but a welcomed one nonetheless.

    Caroline...kinda feel sorry for her, she's probably the only one that truly understand the word friendship.

    Stefan....any non-Elena centering storyline is good in my book! and I like this Stefan better than the broody one.

    so, this is one episode that I actually liked this season, so am definitely giving the next one a chance.

    Temporarily, not permanently. Just b/c he turns her down doesn't mean he doesn't have feelings for her. He just hasn't come to terms with it, when she comes clean about her feelings. But after he "turns her down" they will explore that next step in their relationship. Which was confirmed. Slow burn for them, like it's always been. One rejection, doesn't make it permanent. I like the slow burn between them. Always have. Their relationship is delicate, so they proceed as such.

    1) I am loving Bonnie and Damon scenes BUT I hope it stays as a good boy/girl friendship without romantic feelings, like Leslie/Stephan. Please, pretty please? But knowing TVD and its love triangles, we will have to watch this horrible and pointless angst:

    ​- Bonnie and Damon get very close in the other world, they find a way to come back and then Elena doesn't remember Damon, which Damon takes very hard. Bonnie consoles him because now they are like best friends and that ends up with them hooking or dating or something until Elena remembers her feelings for Damon and it's all: "I want him back" Damon chooses Elena and Bonnie ends up broken-hearted and hating Damon like in Season1.

    ​Again, please show DON'T make this happen. Bonnie and Damon are great as friends, even as really good friends, but JUST that. It's enough you're screwing up Stephan and Caroline friendship to make it romantic.

    ​2) What does Elena remember? Because before falling in love with Damon, they became friends and now she is behaving like "second episode of the 1 season Elena"? It feels like nobody remembers Damon now that Stefan has decided he wants to move on. Why is everyone not only feigning that Elena didn't love Damon but that they don`t miss him either? I need Alaric to say to Elena: "You don't like him, I get it, but he was my best friend and now that I am alive, he is dead, so let me mourn, ok?"

    ​3) Enzo can't die, because he is refreshing and fun and I need a scene after Damon comes back to life where Enzo and Alaric fight to become his drinking buddy. Maybe they can become a golden trio! I am hating Stefan, I get that he wants to move on, but it really seems he doesn't miss Damon at all and isn't this show about brotherly love? So I am not a fan of Stefan this season. Cry a little, for God's sake. It seems like Caroline is the only that knows to mourn like a normal person.

    Brotherly love??? LMAO. That ended when Damon slept with Elena they day after they broke up or spent seasons 1-3 trying to steal his brothers girl. As for Stefan it clearly showed he had been looking for Damon and Bonnie for months, had been all around the world looking for leads and he has finally given up and is mourning his brother and moving on. How do you know he hasn't cried, it has been months since they have gone you have no idea what he has and hasn't done.

    As for Caroline she cried over Tyler last season etc. her crying doesn't mean anything.

    You have no idea how it is, hell the writers of the show have no idea if they are going this route. They have had a lot of pushback regarding this ship and it may not happen. I hope that is the case because Caroline's only storyline seems to be who she falls for and that pretty much is every guy in MF

    As a lo time Steroline shipper, this episode was painful to watch, I just can't wait for them to get together. I loved the Bamon scenes, but I don't know if I could ever take them seriously as a genuine couple. That being said, I really am enjoying the fact that neither brothers are romantically involved with Elena a right now. I love Elena, and Stefan, and Damon, but only when they're involved with someone out with the triangle. Neither pairing is good for any of them as characters. But I know full well, she'll have to end up with one of them. Even though the show would be miles better if all of them just finally called it quits on this triangle. But basically this season is becoming my favorite so far. And I hope it stays this way for a long time. The love triangle has always been the weakest part of the show. I mean,t was interesting when the show began, but after a couple seasons, I just longed for it to be done. And now, TVD is great again.

Also, technically, everyone thinks that, however, Caroline honestly hasn't had a serious relationship since Tyler. So i also disgree with the "i'm tired of Carolien having a love interest" crap. B/c she actually hasn't had one one since Tyler. Random hook ups do not equally "love interest".

Again SHE hasn't been in a SERIOUS rrelationship since Tyler. Her having a fling with Damon and Klaus doesn't count as anything. Her only true relationship was Matt. Which was years ago, and Tyler which technically that relationship ended long before they actually confirmed it was over for good. (And by they I mean the writers). I'm talking love not lust. And she's only been IN love with Tyler and Matt.

    Actually there was a little sign that she recognized Elena. When Sara saw Elena in the Lake she said "oh my god" .. after that Elena told her she is Jeremys sister so Sara probably thought it would be saver to act like she didn't recognize her
