I enjoyed this episode. I got a lot more than I thought I would. In terms of my shipping feels I mean. First off I missed Camille (yes I know I'm the minority idc) so it was real nice to see her again, and not only do I get her, I get Klamiile as well. Which was SUPER SWEET! Sorry got a little hyped there. Hahah...but yeah I really enjoyed the scene with her in therapy and Finn as her therapist was a nice little twist.
Mikael and Davina, oh boy did she ask for it. And I'm glad she did. I really enjoyed the sparing scene with them and him teaching her. It made me think of...Rebekah. Or the Original kids with Mikael's "tough love" in general. IMO, Mikael went easy on her. Lol
Elijah training that girl was sexy. And by that I mean Elijah was sexy. That whole "tension" thing bothered me, I just rolled my eyes at all of that. It's not b/c I'm a Haylijah shipper, it's b/c it was sooo cliche and just unnecessary. And Hayley walking in to "break it off" was just so...smh, "really"?? That's how I felt about it. But the training was necessary, still bothers me that Marcel can't train his own progeny but w/e.
The rest of the episode seemed filler to me, Oliver, Hayley, Kol, and Davina, etc etc. The only thing that really felt exciting after those "save the kids" plan was Klaus coming face to face with Mikael. Though cut short, very enjoyable, and I should've seen that coming, but I didn't. Klaus is about to need a new car. Lol and Freaking A!! How long do we have to wait for Esther and Mikael to come face to face?? I'm still waiting for that!! And Esther needs her ass kicked. They better get Elijah before he gets "purified" she really hit a nerve with me with that.
I'm also VERY happy for Josh. He's about to get his man. So cute. I love Josh. Overall the episode was good, pretty slow paced from what i was expecting last week with it's promos and all, but i enjoyed it.
I enjoyed the episode for the most part besides the Cami stuff. I don't understand the reasoning behind pushing her and Klaus together. That really annoyed me. But Elijah and the new girl were a nice change of pace from Hayley and Elijah cause I can't stand that. But it looks like they are swapping partnera if I had to guess. But who knows maybe I'm wrong and they change mind. Next week looks alright, kinda boring with what's her name from VD thoug
Did anyone else catch the irony of Cami's therapy confession? She admitted to being Caroline's replacement/substitute for Klaus without even knowing who Caroline is........that was just to funny (lol)! Bonnie and Caroline must make a trip to the "Big Easy".........the "drama" alone would be worth it! Jules make it happen now. Pretty good showdown at the end............good move or should I say "keep sake" on Klaus' part. Klaus, Elijah, Mikael, Davina, new Esther, new Finn, and new vamp girl Gia made this episode tonight............the rest was just OK. 4 THE ORIGINALS, THE COPIES, AND ALL THE REPEATS, I will be Nobody!!!
HOLY CRAP!!! klaus and camille definitely need to get together like yesterday geez they're unbelievably amazing, definitely sensed some jealousy when hayley walked in on elijah training gia, mikael can just die right now please i mean the SOB took the dagger out his chest COME ON!!! how is this even possible, aiden is okay now
I don't mind Klaus and Cami. They have good chemistry and some good sexual tension going on. But really what is the point of Cami? None of her psycho babble is actually helping to improve Klaus's personality. He is still the twisted psychopath. Only thing Cami does is prevent whoever she loves from getting killed because Klaus wants to be on her good side. The show should give her some powers. There is no need for token human in this show.
Mikael training Davina was fun. Now that they are unlinked I am sad we wont be able to see that anymore. Now Klaus has the white oak stake and Mikael has Papa Tunde's knife. It's like passing the parcel. I like Josh getting a warewolf love interest. Some inter species love going on. Oliver you slimy warewolf I like you now!! I don't like this new Esther. She is too menacing and less maternal. Kol is jumping alliances all the time.
Over all good episode. Cami/Klaus scenes were good but pointless as Klaus is stagnant as a character. I really wish the show had not given sexual undertones to the Elijah/Gia training scenes just to make Hayley jealous. I expected their relationship to be like that of Marcel/Davina. The show is changing scenarios so fast no two characters are able to develop any connection. Elijah/Gia and Mikael/Marcel mentor relationships could have been explored more instead giving it just one episode.
So klaus tricks her and ditches her in the middle of nowhere and she gives him a hug and is all like Klaus stop trying to kill your parents pay attention to me me me, omg this show i had nothing better to do last night so thought why not see if it got better heard relatively good things about the flashback BUT NO omg it got worse I just can´t with Cami and well not this Klaus either.... is her role only there to sooth is raging manpain?
loved Klaus & Cami, when they danced & when she hug him that was really sweet.. i dont like Hayle anymore, she needs to get over herself.. Elijah training the new vampire girl was sexy.
**MIKAEL kicking ass, he's so badass, it hurts, the way he almost killed Klaus, overpowered both Kol and Klaus, and pulled papa tunde's blade in less than an hour, made him my all time favorite character.
**Saving those untriggered werewolves was a noble thing to do by Marcel's vampires.
**Gia/Elijah scenes were great, definitely got some vibes....
**Mirroring Mikael/Elijah teaching fighting techniques was epic ! but now we see why Elijah knows how to fight this good.
** and yes, Camille have a soothing effect on Klaus, and I really enjoy them together.
negatives:
**Hayley's attitude towards Elijah, threatening him, then not worrying about him when he was captured, just proves why I hate Hayley, and this pathetic excuse of a ship (no offense)
No the tension did NOT bother me at all it was incredibly entertaining and fun to watch and see Elijah actively interacting with someone who's nt Hayley
Can Hayley just drop her attitude cos it's not badass its extremely annoying...I felt that this episode had a large build up of the Mikael and Klaus showdown but as usual it was wasted by monologues I don't find Cami pointless she and Klaus actually have chemistry Everything Elijah did this episode was fun to watch the lines and all.He and Gia have steamy chemistry and I really want to see more of them
This season has been SO awesome so far but this episode made my fangirl heart beat HARD. Elijah had some of his best lines tonight, starting with his telling Haley no one had time for her sasssss to him telling the werewolves that things would get irrefutably awkward. he was the man this episode. Elijah has a gift for entering a room like a BOSS...who can break two necks before anyone even knows they're in the room? Elijah. Elijah can. I actually enjoyed Davina and Kohl scenes tonight. As an adult I see how stupid and naïve she's being with him but from a teenage girls perspective I can totally see where she's coming from. Kaleb is hot. (I realized that sometimes i'm too hard on Davina. I forget she's 17) Even Oliver didn't annoy me as much tonight, but I was still hoping for him to die in that last battle, I just don't see his usefulness. i'm glad that they're giving Josh his own storyline. It will be interesting to see these two star crossed lovers try to navigate the species politics in the Quarter. But oh...Klaus and Cami. I loved everything about them tonight and I think I may have jumped ships (Klaroline forever) I KNEW she was in love with Klaus last season, but I didn't want it. Now I want it because she loves him for all the reasons I do. He's broken and a bit psychotic, but not without reason and even in that, he can still show compassion and mercy for the things he cares for. Everyone needs love and to be shown goodness and kindness. Yes, Klaus has serious issues and have done some horrible things (RIP Aunt Jenna) More and more this season we are seeing that the real reason Klaus can't trust because the two people that should be the most loving and trustworthy in his life made him a monster (in so many ways) and now want him dead for it. their dance totally sold me and while i'm glad they didn't kiss, I can't wait for the slow burn till when they do. when these two finally "dance" it's going to be HOT. Leah and Joseph have great chemistry. Last but not least Mikael....I had hoped that Papa Tundes dagger would put him down for a while so that we can focus on Esther, but as soon as we went back to him in the trunk I knew he wasn't down for long. Can't wait for next week's episode. I don't want to see Elijah be tortured but if he must, it's only fair that it be done topless. We don't get enough topless Elijah....
Best episode so far. Elijah's interaction w/ other characters that are not Hayley, great! I really loved the Gia and Elijah scenes! I would like to see more scenes of them including Davina learning how to fight and defend herself.
Difference of opinion. Again, I didn't/don't mind that Elijah has scenes with other women, BUT it didn't have to be all that with Elijah and Gia, it was ridiculous.
Klamille scenes were amazing!! YES they were... people who don't like Klamille are jealous Claroline fans who cannot be objective therefore their opinions dont matter
Definitely better episode than last week, but I have to say that I felt strange with the whole let's-dance-even-though-i-don't-want to. Maybe Finncent made some crazy voodoo over Cami and that made her so... aroused? *I'm saying this as person who really liked Klaus and Cami scenes in season one*
I am in total agreement with you about the show not needing a token human aka Cami, her role in the show makes no sense. I get that the show is trying to do a Soprano's type thing, but Toni Soprano never slept with his therapist.....in fact no therapist should ever sleep with their client. This is part of the reason that this is soo creepy, as Cami is effectively Klaus's therapist.
I will say, that I personally don't find that Klaus and Cami have chemistry. Their scenes come across as forced and unnatural.....also really creepy, to me. (slightly deranged and stalker'ish on both parts) The only time that they seem to gel, is when they are in therapy session....or she is there to listen to his side of events, giving the viewer an insight into the way that he thinks about his actions and consequences....to that we see that the character is not all evil and/or good....he is complex.
I am in total agreement with you on the whole Elijah and Gia scenes....not sure how I will feel about them in the future, but for now it just seems wayyyyy wrong.
Sorry, no....just don't find Cami interesting or necessary to the storyline. Not a fan of her as a character. IMO the character has no chemistry with any of the males on the show. They should bring in a very hunky werewolf for her, one that she has chemistry on screen with.
When I say chemistry I mean chemistry between actors. If these two actors were in a different roles I would totally ship them. The problem here is for all the therapy and psycho analysis Cami does and Klaus getting off of it he is not improving as a person. He is still selfish and psychotic with occasional emotional bursts. The way I love him. What is her influence on Klaus? He speaks a lot with Cami and then goes and murders some innocent in rage or to prove a point. Or else he does the complete opposite he does not murder the guy that he should. In this case Mikael. Why leave him alive when there is a chance to eliminate him. IMO Cami is a useless character. I didn't miss her in last two episodes at all. I liked her more last season when she had a connection with Father Kieran
I disliked Marcel last season for his smugness and stupidity to stand against Originals without a plan but at least his relationship with Klaus has more meaning. I like his attitude this season. He learned from his mistakes.
I agree....that the two characters on this show should not be together. I personally don't think that they have any chemistry on screen. Perhaps the show is trying to depict how therapy is a process and takes time....it would be less believable if Klaus was to turn over a new leaf over night....IMO....I guess what their, I guess relationship (for lack of a better word), illustrates is Klaus's mindset...which is interesting....(I guess). I totally agree that Cami is a useless character...and really has no purpose to the storyline....I prefer when she is not on screen....
I totally agree with your views on Marcel...there is wayyy more of a connection with the main characters then Cami. As you know I am not a fan of his character either, but he is definitely more bearable this season then he was last season.
Personally, I could do without Cami and Davina (and Marcel) on the show. There should be a house cleaning of some characters. The show would do well in bringing in new ones that have meaning and help to advance the characters and the plot. Right now some characters seem like side projects that have gone awry.
You're mistaken, I don't ship Klamille and I don't like Caroline.
I don't like Klamille because they have no chemistry whatsoever, seriously I think Klaus probably has more chemistry with the White Oak than with her, and to top that off Cami is boring and irrelevant character.
Oh seriously now i´ve never ever been a klaroliner but i hate Cami so what does that make me? People like different things i think Cami is the worst she´s only there to prob up klaus´s manpain and tears oh and do look super angsty all the time
When will we see Mikael and Ester fight or at least talk to each other? These problems all started with their crazy and their betrayals of each other. Let's get to the actual cause here, people. I need them getting it all out head-to-head, and instead of going after the results of their actions, realizing their roles in the problem.
I am in total agreement with you here. I am dieing for scenes of them together, but I want real Esther and Mikael to have it out. They started this whole mess long before their kids were ever vampires (Klaus is not the youngest or oldest child) I think the confrontation between these two will make for some epic tv
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
OMG I'm shipping kol and davina
ReplyDeleteOMG josh and werewolf guy
I'm starting to like klaus and cami. There I said it
I enjoyed this episode. I got a lot more than I thought I would. In terms of my shipping feels I mean. First off I missed Camille (yes I know I'm the minority idc) so it was real nice to see her again, and not only do I get her, I get Klamiile as well. Which was SUPER SWEET! yay, doesn't it feel nice to get it out? Klamille ftw. lol Yeah i ship em, sue me.
ReplyDeleteUgh, was not a fan of tonite's epi. Klaus and Cami scenes were the worst. It actually made me ill.
ReplyDeletelol you might want to see a doctor then. I think ebola might be going around
ReplyDeleteThe Klaus/Cami and Elijah/Hayle/Baby Vamp parts seemed really unnecessary.
ReplyDeleteLoved the Josh/Aiden bit, I couldn't figure out why they were looking at each other at the fire truck. Was waiting for a betrayal of some sort.
Loved the Mikael/Klaus fight but I'm a little pissed that Mikael was just able to pull the knife out, while both Elijah and Klaus suffered helpless.
Love the new Esther, actress is really good at crazy/menacing with just enough soul to not make her a cliche villain.
So I guess Mikeal was able to free himself, because he is a sociopath?
ReplyDeleteIt's because he can control an deal with pain.
ReplyDeleteI loved this episode!
ReplyDeleteMikael is so badass, Gia and Elijah it was HOT!! Josh and Adrien are cute together :)
Why would you ship Kol and Davina? He's using her.
ReplyDeletepoor you LOL.
ReplyDeleteNo not ebola just bad acting gag! lol
ReplyDeleteThey did not look good together....IMO...
No I'm sad for the show....they are forcing two people together that have absolutely no chemistry....IMO
ReplyDeleteI agree with you about the Klaus/Cami scenes....totally unnecessary.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the episode for the most part besides the Cami stuff. I don't understand the reasoning behind pushing her and Klaus together. That really annoyed me. ReplyDeleteI agree. In fact, now I prefer Elijah interacting with anyone but Hayley because THAT really bothers me.
ReplyDeleteComment I can totally agree with. Every single word. Thank you. :)
ReplyDeleteDifference of opinion. Again, I didn't/don't mind that Elijah has scenes with other women, BUT it didn't have to be all that with Elijah and Gia, it was ridiculous.
ReplyDeletewhy are you pissed? Mikael pulling the dagger out shows us how threatening the man is!
ReplyDeleteHe's stronger than our heroes and poses a valid threat
I think I could ship Elijah/Gia. The actors have good chemistry and I need Elijah to get a life of his own and stay away from Hayley.
ReplyDeleteThe episode was pretty boring though and the Mikael/Klaus fight was a bit of a let-down.
the werewolf guy is called aiden
ReplyDeleteKlamille scenes were amazing!! YES they were... people who don't like Klamille are jealous Claroline fans who cannot be objective therefore their opinions dont matter

ReplyDeleteDoes it really matter....? They are both on two different shows.........
ReplyDeleteI feel like your comment is meant to bate or goad.....
It is my opinion that Cami and Klaus lack chemistry.....Not to mention Cami is the family therapist.....totally unethical.
