  1. I loved it but why didn't Michaela or her fiance bring up the fact that he's probably bisexual? Like come on!

I can't remember everyone's names yet (should get on that) but I'm pretty sure the husband and Paris are having/will have an affair.

  2. I'm so confused and I couldn't love it more right now. Frank isn't a lawyer? They're defending Rebecca now?! Mikaela you shouldn't wear any jewelry when going somewhere you don't want people to know you've been! God I love this show.

  3. Awesome episode! Although it becomes more and more complicated as each episode passes, I absolutely love it.

I had a feeling that Nate wasn't going to tell Annalise the truth about where Sam was the night of Lila's murder and I was right. I wonder why he did that. Was he trying to protect her? Or just wanted her to leave him alone? Hmmm.

It was nice that we got more character in-depth about Michaela. She was intriguing. And the rivalry between her and Connor is the best. But seriously, why the hell would you wear any type of bling (ESPECIALLY an engagement ring) when you're trying to move a dead body? There's like a 95% chance you WILL lose the damn thing. Common sense, Michaela.

I don't believe Rebecca killed Lila for a second. If she actually did kill her, wouldn't she be in prison in the flashforward and not in some motel room? But I'm interested in seeing why she confessed and why Annalise decided to defend her and not Griffin.

There was definitely some chemistry going on between Bonnie and Sam. I wouldn't be surprised if they hooked up in the next two episodes.

Connor is my favorite character right now. His snarky comments are hilarious and so damn quotable, I love it. Hopefully we will learn more about him later on in the season.

  4. Speaking of characters and I'm pretty sure not a lot of people care but what do you think will happen to asher because I feel he's there for a reason like to be somekind of sacrifice or something like that

  5. Yeah, I'm very interested in finding out why Asher isn't involved with Sam's murder. Did something happen to him before the night of Sam's death?

  6. Ok I liked this show but why on earth does Wes care about Rebecca. She has been an absolute jerk to him when he has been nothing but nice to her. I think this is contrived for the plot but if I was Wes I would stop trying.

  7. lol "Paris". Her name on the show is Bonnie.

  8. lol as someone who literally just had a 20 minute conversation with a friend totally in love with an abusive asshole, I can believe it. Not understand it necessarily but I have certainly seen it more than once. I like Wes except for that strange attraction but it's good for the plot ;)

  9. I like how Viola Davis took a step back allowing the other actors/characters to step up and take front stage. Yet another excellent/entertaining episode (No Spoilers)! So far this series has everything going for it (characters, storyline, and acting)..............."winner, winner, chicken dinner!" 4 A MURDER FREE TRIAL, I am Nobody!!!

  10. I was wondering about the bi thing, too. I mean, yeah, I can see her being startled by the news that her fiancé slept with a man when all he's mentioned so far is women, but bisexuals do exist and if it was just some fling from his teenage days, then...*Shrugs*. Course, I've never been in her shoes, so it's easy to be so "eh" about such news.
And as amusing as Connor's jabs were about her fiancé, when he was teasing her in the courtroom I felt bad for her. Awk-waaaaaaard...
Yeah, that end scene with Sam and Bonnie looked a little suspicious, didn't it?

  11. But seriously, why the hell would you wear any type of bling (ESPECIALLY an engagement ring) when you're trying to move a dead body? There's like a 95% chance you WILL lose the damn thing. Common sense, Michaela.
YES. My thoughts exactly. I mean, if them hiding the body was a spur of the moment decision, something she hadn't planned on doing that night, that might be one thing, but somehow I doubt that's the case, and either way...yeah. After the murder and before they did any messing about with the body, she should've definitely taken that ring off and kept it somewhere safe.
Especially given her comment later on about her Vera Wang wedding dress. She clearly has expensive tastes, and I would think ANYONE who gets that kind of fancy stuff would do everything imaginable to keep it pristine and safe and all that good stuff.
(Course, the idea of someone who's not a celebrity blowing money on a Vera Wang dress for a wedding boggles my mind-even if Michaela hadn't had that blindside reveal about her fiancé's past, you're still putting down ridiculous amounts of money that could well be wasted if your husband turns out to be not what you wanted. She's obviously smart and driven and I admire that, but she kinda jumps into things without thinking about the long-term effects of them. That will not bode well for her if she keeps that up.)

  12. I guess she didn't bring it up, because what she was really worried about was becoming his "Republican's wife", that would be the real humilliation. It's ok to be bisexual's wife, but being the gay guy's wife just means you let yourself be lied to for years (I'm not trying to blame anyone here, that's just how I imagine Michaela's reasoning). The guy, on the other hand, might simply not identify as bi, it's possible that he's straight and just experimented with Connor, sexuality is a fluid thing.

Having said that, I also expected them to mention this possibility, and I would've preferred him to be openly bi than the non-conclusion we got. Hopefully it will become a part of a twisted frenemy relationship (frenemship?) between Connor and Michaela and not just a forgotten C-plotline of one episode.

  13. In what I understand was a post-murder scene, Michaela is shown to be visibly in shock, I can believe that she was not thinking clearly and could've easily forgotten about the ring. Common sense was long gone by this point.

  14. Some good points raised here. In this day and age he wouldn't have to lie the way he might've had to even five to ten years ago, but still, if they're planning on being a "power couple", there is that "image" they have to maintain, too, so...
(This just reminds me of why I never want to be in that kind of a high-pressure relationship, LOL.)
And YES to a twisted frenemy thing happening between Connor and Michaela. I liked their interaction in this episode, so I'd be all for them developing that further.

  15. It's getting better and better with every single episode.

  16. I agree she has not been nice to him at all, but I think he seriously pity's the poor girl, he knows she was in an abusive relationship, when she made the gesture and gave him the bottle of booze he, saw she has some sliver of being a good person, that's just what I think:)

  17. not my fave episode tbh but next week looks better. Connor iritated me a lot this episode though

  18. Connor....his the best

  19. I don't know why the writers on pushing this on us it's the only thing about the show I really don't like and all she's ever done was be rude to him.

    ReplyDelete
  20. She will ALWAYS be Paris Gellar. But yes I think that what Frank told Bonnie he noticed from last week was her crush on Sam Keating. I'm sure everyone caught how girly and light and ankle-dippy she got around the professor.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Of course he's not bi. There's no such thing as a male bisexual in television, with Nolan from Revenge being the exception to the rule.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Agree, we can't really expect characters to act/think with common sense in situations like that.

    ReplyDelete
  23. My only real gripe with the case was how quickly the guy was released after his testimony.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Why is Conor treating Michaela like that? I get that she's his biggest competition but he was just unnecessarily conniving to her in this episode.
And I think Nate lied to Annalise because he wants to frame Sam for murder.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Yes, that was unrealistic.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Yes, I think he didn't tell Annalise because he wants Sam to get caught.

    ReplyDelete
  27. they had or are having for sure
