Arkham looked awesome, seeing it brought to life was great! Penguin continues to be awesome, seriously Robin Lord Talor is killing it. Fish gets more complicated by the day.
Didnt expect Barbara to reveal her secret so quickly, this show is moving along quite nicely.
loved the ep... really enjoying how great Robin Taylor is at portraying the criminal mastermind that is the Penguin... I wouldn't be surprised if this is all set up to reveal that it was in fact Cobblepot who murdered the Waynes in order to begin the destabilization of the power players to eventually set things up where he is the last one standing to pick up all the pieces or something to that effect.. I know that they're taking departures from the comics storylines, but it'll be interesting to see how different they are planning to go
I need to watch it again. I was very in and out. All I saw was Edward (which made me look at the screen again). Mooney auditioning girls to seduce her. (Which I thought was just nonsense) for w/e she has in store. Not to mention that fight, which was also nonsense, giving the girls had no idea what they were signing up for. Oswalt becoming manager cuz of some trick he pulled. Barbara coming clean about her sexuality to Jim. Which I'll say, thank god! Glad they didn't drag that out. Also thought it unfair to break it off with Jim for not sharing his "work". Other than that, I have no idea what went on.Oh yeah people got shot up and some dude burned in garbage can. Arkham reopened.
after watching TWD premiere...all i see is the Penguin getting his throat Slashed and seeing the Blood all over the screen, lol...u think Gordon will ask Barbara for a Threesome now?, lol....☺...
loved it but would gordon just tell barbara about cobblepot please i don't want them separated, loving more and more david mazouz as bruce wayne and all the foreshadowing into his destiny
It's not that i didn't "get it" it's that i was BORED with it, sooo i missed a lot, again, "in and out" and she's my least fav character, so my curiosity isn't really on her, especially after i saw her actions in this specific episode.
I thought the show was ok. Nothing to write home to mom about, that's for sure. The whole Barbara was once a lesbian, I guess technically now a bi-sexual.....was dumb. Same goes for the part where Fish asked the girl to seduce her. These are pointless conventions geared to titillate the teenage boy fantasies, or to ellicit the male gaze, versus being about truly exploring gender/sexuality in a positive non insulting stereotypical way on TV.
The whole Bruce Wayne, child detective.....I have to admit is weird. I get that Bruce has been forced to become an adult at a very young age due to the death of his parents....but really..... reasoned and cogent deduction necessary to filter through files and find his parents killers at age 12....seems a bit unbelievable to me. The fact that Gordon keeps going to him to gain counsel....further unbelievable.
Something is missing in this show....and they had better find it quick.
BTW- loved the Penguin, he was fabulous. I will never look at a cannoli the same way again.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Another Awesome Episode!

ReplyDeleteI LOVED IT! I'm so glad this show has an extended run, to me personally it's getting better episode by episode.
ReplyDeleteit was great! it nice not to have a villain of the week every week.
ReplyDeleteI'm enjoying the rise of the Penguin.
And Thanks to FOX we are getting 22 episodes. THANK YOU!
no mention of Bruce slowly becoming World greatest detective.........I mean digging through the files and all
ReplyDeleteBest episode so far. That was awesome.

ReplyDeletethen you need to watch it again... I see why she's doing what she's doing....
ReplyDeleteYeahh idc that much to think that far ahead with her. Lol
ReplyDeleteHence the "I need to watch it again, I was very in and out." And I wouldn't just do it for her, I'd do it for the episode in general.
ReplyDeleteJada Pinkett Smith kills it with her role as a villain. i'm just waiting for Will Smith to pop up lol
ReplyDeleteOh god. Boris, please go away. Lol
ReplyDeleteI'm kidding lol. Will has better fish to fry lol.
ReplyDeleteI'm like the fact that Bruno Heller is behind this series and really hope he won't pull a Red John on us again lol
I know you were. Will's not doing any better, btw.
ReplyDeleteI'm waiting for her to bite it, by the end of the season. (i'm the minority obviously)
ReplyDeleteAccording to Movie Critic his latest movie is good lol.
ReplyDeleteI truly have no idea who her character is lol. i seen all batman movies.animated shows and films and no fish mooney lol

ReplyDeleteMooney isn't an actual DC character, she's only written for the show.
ReplyDeleteJust like Diggles on Arrow lol.
ReplyDeletewell no, Diggle is an actual DC character now, so he's not like Mooney. Or rather Mooney isn't like him, since he came out first.
ReplyDeleteYou know he also plays the mayor on Blue Bloods lol
ReplyDeleteDon't watch that. But yes i've been told.
