This ep was a bit draggy to me. It just wasn't as interesting as the other eps. Maybe if they had shown more flashbacks to the woman who died and had her have more of a relationship with Henry. The ep just needed a bit more.
Am I the only one who suspects Lucas may actually be Henry's immortal stalker? I just wonder about him. It's always the one you'd never think.
good ep, not quite great a bit on the slowish side for me... I did like learning more of Henry's background. I do wonder why if he realizes that he's immortal, that he doesn't keep a lower profile especially nowadays as he could easily be caught on camera and at least change his name every 50 years or so... I do like the show and am not sure if I will keep it on my regular view list or save it til the weekend or later list yet. I do wish they wouldn't make his character "too Sherlock-ian know it all"-ish all the time, and they might still tone it down as the show goes along. It seems fairly obvious that the detective will eventually find out his secret somehow (most likely she will see him die and he'll come back) and that might be when more of the mythology will kick in.
I agree, Henry being a know it all can wear thin. It's just I don't see how the show will work if they tone it down too much. But it can get on the nerves. I guess that's why it seems very Doctor Who to me. He just plain knows alot.
about lucas i can see the possibility too last week when he said: one thing is for sure never can tell how old someone is just by looking at them was that a clue??
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteLoved it. Not as great as previous episodes but still really good.
ReplyDeleteReally enjoying this new show... Nice episode, like the others said, not the best one but still liked it:)

ReplyDeleteCould be a clue. I just think there has to be more to him than we've seen so far.
ReplyDeleteThis show needs to give Lucas more screentime.
