amazing episode, i have missed jonny lee miller and lucy liu as holmes and watson, kitty though i think she's hiding something, i know we're not supposed to ship them but damn these two make it so hard not to, their chemistry is amazing, it's great having this show back
loved it... really enjoyed the return and the set ups that have been established since last season.... liked Joan's growth and confidence, and the prickly tension between she and Holmes and the set up for Holmes' new protege... interesting cotw and nice to see Joan get the better of her nemesis here and can only wonder if we'll be seeing the Elana character again.....
First of all too much Watson. And that conversation after the credit made no sense to repeat false theories again by Bell.
Everyone with their hostile welcome back of Sherlock was odd as heck, even with the knowledge of him leaving without saying anything. Especially the continued hostile behavior from Watson. Watson/ I could of solved it one my own... ok, Sherlock agrees but as he was about to say that wasn't the point. Gregson/ We were never friends, just a means to an end. If so you wouldn't be this hostile... and Holmes was always exceptional.
Best moment for me was when Sherlock Solved the main murder/ The how the Assassin did.
Kitty was Nice, I like that she still has a lot to learn, and is willing to listen and say sorry to Sherlock when needed. I wonder what their plans are as they mentioned.
Other then that I was kinda disappointed with the Premiere having a lot of focus on Watson.
Just out of curiosity I time the Screen time for this episode and it was kinda shocking.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Good to have this show back.

made me really miss the Sherlock from season 1 even more. am starting like him less and less.
ReplyDeleteI already hate the new Watson. Don't get me wrong: she's great, but she's not Joan and for that alone I hate her there.
ReplyDeleteGood to see Clyde again!
I loved the puzzle of the elevator killings
ReplyDeleteLoved it! Can't wait to see where they go from here.
