    Some absolutely lovely Hotch moments in this episode, both with Jack and on his own. I loved when he visited that lady's shop at the start of the episode, that whole scene was so cute.
    Case itself was pretty unsettling, too. Screwed up family, poor kids being abused...yikes.

    This series is always marginal at best. This season has been more watchable with tighter scripts (less Penelope rambling and a lot fewer babygirls) and better editing. Then there is this episode, which is a complete ripoff of Prisoners with Hugh Jackman. Add to that the deep dive back in to agents making inane and ridiculous statements like responding to someone confessing to a 15 year old homicide with *it was self defense* - well, it doesn't look good for the rest of the season.

    I really dislike this episode.. from the start to the end it was about self-congratulation of one Actor... Thomas Gibson. I must say, i was a fan of him in the past, but since 3 or 4 seasons it started out, that i don't like the way his character was developing. And this episode in particular was really one of the whorse.

    First time I watched I really disliked it but after re-watching just now I thought it was pretty great so I voted for great lol the scenes of Jack, Hotch & Haley's...um sister? so sweet! love the Hotch & JJ talk...the case seems better the second time around. I enjoyed it.
